My colors in PS5 are messed up

When I enter in the code #CC5500, the color comes up as a red instead of a burnt orange. I then noticed all my other number codes are messed up. Anyone know why it's doing this?

Numbers alone do not determine a color.
The same numbers will result in different colors in different colorspaces (sRGB, AdobeRGB, etc.).
And if your display profile is inaccurate (does not match your actual display), then all bets are off on getting a useful preview of your colors.

Try going to Settings > General > Accessibility > white on black and turn this OFF.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. If the device screen looks inverted, try triple tapping your home button. OR, you could tap settings, general, accessibility, and make sure invert colors is off. Not sure what you mean about the screen being shaky, unless you tapped too long on the screen, and the icons are wiggling. In which case tapping the home button will resolve that as well.

The colors of my mac book screen are messed up

This has been happening on and off for awhile now, but the colors of my screen are messed up. My screen currently looks like the picture attached, everything is coated in a weird dark blue color. The only way I can revert the colors back to normal is by applying small pressure to the screen.
Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Since the pressure to the screen trick works, that says the internal cable is getting frayed by the hinge. That resistance on the hinge is there deliberately so you don't push it back too far. If you do, you can damage the cable. If the machine was opened after market, the person closing it back up may have not properly tightened the hinge joints, thus defeating the built-in resistance making you end up fraying the cables anyway. Dropping or bumping against the hinge has the same effect if there is enough force exerted. Hopefully none of the above has happened, in which case you may have a case for AppleCare to look at.

Images in monitor are messed up

Help! I am new to encore. When I create a slideshow in encore the pictures in the monitor view are all messed up. You cant even tell what the picture is. Is this a common proble or is it an issue with my system. Possibly a video driver issue? Any help would really be great

When you say that the images are "messed up," I can imagine all sorts of things. Could you do a screen-cap of the Monitor, and attach it. It might be easy for someone to spot and identify the problem.
Also, tell us more about your Assets: size, Color Mode, anything that you can think of, regarding the images. Might be something obvious in the Assets' specs. Also, is the visual result the same for both the JPG's and the TIFF's?

Icons in X windows are messed up

Hallo alltogether,
I've updated my X.org to 6.8.2 an now I've the problem the my Icons under X windows are messed up. Just an example:
When I'm using Thunderbird and than I try to move a message from the Inbox to an another folder while dragging on the message a small icon appears looking like a small piece of paper. The PROBLEM is that the space AROUND this small Icon, which is normaly transparent, is full of randomly colorized pixels.

I've tried to solve this problem by downgrading to X.org 6.8.1 but it didn't help (It seems that this problem doesn't depend on X.org...). Does anybody has a suggestion how to solve this problem, cause this icons are looking really bad :-(

No, unfortunently this doesn't work! I'v already have the newest gtk2 package installed (pacman -Qi gtk2):

I have found that scrolling through the album list (past albums without art) triggers the progress wheel next to the wifi symbol. You can scroll quickly through the whole collection and then wait! Artwork will appear gradually...
However, repeat visits to the Music App might initially show no artwork again, but it might spontaneously appear more quickly this time. The bad news is that the whole Music App is now sluggish as ****...

Since downloading itunes 10 my ipod's features are messed up. Currently I'm looking to delete apps. They no longer appear on left side of itunes screen. I try to click on apps on top of screen but apps are in a shadow mode and I can't click on them.

If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. I updated my ipod touch to 5.0.1., and it works great except for one thing. All my artists are messed up, it's like my ipod while it was updating, took the time to go online and look up exactly who sang what. For example i had tons of disney songs, like the lion king's circle of life, the little mermaid's kiss the girl, ect into one artist that i named "Disney". But now they are all seperated into "Lion King Soundtrack" and that kind of stuff. Also, for example this one band, NeverShoutNever has many ways to write their name: Never Shout Never, NeverShoutNever!, NEVERSHOUTNEVER, and in my ipod they are all put as 3 different artists. But on my itunes playlists it doesn't do that.
How can i put it back like i had it? It's very annoying and very confusing. Please help!

You can try unsyncing all the music and then resyncing. Sometimes that works. Sometimes not. This ia problem with iOS 5/iTunes 10.5

Compilations are messed up in iTunes 11

Since upgrading to iTunes 11 my compilation albums are messed up into individual artist per song. They were fine in v. 8,9 & 10. I've checked that the sort artist, sort album artist & album artist fields are blank & that "part of a compilation" is ticked.
Help, please!

Setting Album Artist to Various Artists should merge things back together.
Alternatively go to the Songs view, enable the column browser (ctrl-b or alt will open the menus), and experiment with the setting of View > Column Browser > Group compilations.

Images are messed up when converting pages document to .doc

Hello,
I am trying to convert my .pages document to a Word .doc file but when I open it back up the background images are missing most of their color. They are extremely distorted. I took off the option Objects Causes Wrap and removed my margins so I could prevent my content from spilling onto a new page thus creating a new page that I could not delete.

The conversion isn't perfect between Pages and Word. The same font is handle differently in the two applications and so are many other things too. If you are concerned about how it looks use Pdf versions instead.

You are screwing up the colors by not using color management or at least not keeping an eye what color space/ profiel your source files use anbd what happens when Safe for Web converts them. As a start, perhaps refer to this, then work your way through the Internet wide and far to learn about color management:
