Probably this will give you guys more idea about my problem... When I power up the PC its seems to be working at full capacity loud fan sounds, after 3-5 seconds it slows down and then the BIOS starts to load... However there are lines on the BIOS screen..  It also says that CMOS settings wrong and occasionally its says overclocking failed, etc etc... =(
You need to go into BIOS and load default settings, I'd say. Then start your OC'ing again if you were overclocking.
Sounds to me like the clearing of CMOS worked and is now waiting for you to set it up again.
Edit: You may need to check your boot order too.

  • My ipod just doesnt want to work on my pc

So I just fixed my ipod, by replacing the broken hard drive. The ipod itself was out of warranty so I figured I take a crack at it. Anyways the transplant was successful and I got it up and and running. The problem is I cant get my pc to recognize it and I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ON the apple help page. So I thought there was something else wrong with my ipod so before giving up I took it over my friends house and hook it up over there and instantly it poped up and let me format it and update it and let me name it with itunes. So I thought yay! I fixed it. So I got home later that night and plug it in my pc and it took like 5 min for itunes to open up, but finally I started transeferring music from itunes to it. It was taking really long so I decided to go to sleep and get to it in the morning. But when I woke up the ipod was turned off and wouldnt respond to me pushing any of the buttons so I tried unplugging and plugging the cord in and it popped up with this battery symbol that doesnt do anything but sit on the screen. Its a giant battery with a lighting bolt on it and it doesnt appear to be moving. It does this with all my pcs and at my friends house it actually moved and charged up. I don't know what to do is it just to dead to revive with the usb cord or is my pc messing something up? I run windows xp and so does my friend. Any Ideas?

Sorry to hear you are still having problems.
The only other thing other than what you mentioned would be some power saving setting in BIOS(BasicInputOutputSystem)
that is interferring with iTunes. If you try going into the BIOS, you should be very careful in there. Your power supply might not be powerful enough on your computer, so I'd check that first. If you don't know about BIOS,(perfectly normal-I consider myself somewhat of a nerd) I suggest getting the help of some "computer expert" to do it. Yet of course, it is your choice, and(after getting the approval of your parent(s) if you are a minor and/or the owner of the computer if you do not own it) You could always do some research on the web and try to do it yourself. Be careful and good luck!

  • I updated my ipod touch from 4.3.5 to IOS 6.1.2 and doesnt want to sync or apply musics

Doesnt want to sync after i updated it from ios 4.3.5 to ios 6.1.2 and i backed it up nd stuff but now i cant apply music on it!

    See:
iOS 4: Updating your device to iOS 5 and later
Just make sure that all of your synced media like apps and music are in the iTunes library since the backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media.

  • HT1766 Recently i had to get a new computer due to my other one crashing.  My question is, i was able to get itunes on the new computer, but it doesnt want to transfer my music library?  How do i transfer the music from the phone to the computer?

Recently i had to get a new computer.  I was able to get itunes on the new computer and itunes did reconize my phone.  BUT, it doesnt want to transfer the music from my phone to the computer?  Can someone help, Please??
    Thanks

File>Transfer Purchases in iTunes will transfer items purchased from the iTunes store.
If you have items from other sources (ripped CD's, etc.) on the phone, you can't transfer those without purchasing 3rd party software.
Restore the backup of your old computer or just copy the data from the old computer to the new one.

  • Powerbook doesn't want to boot from cd anymore

    Hi everyone,
My girlfriend's PowerBook G4 crashed, so I tried to boot from a 10.4 dvd I have. The computer booted once from the DVD, but then I had to shut it down for logistical purposes (understand: I had to move it). Now, it doesn't want to boot from the dvd anymore. When I insert it, the dvd reader just ejects it. I tried pressing on the C key and cd boot from Open Firmware but it didn't work (except for the first boot)...
    Anyone can help?

If the 10.4 DVD has a gray color & it's from another model Mac, it won't boot. Some how the Mac may have been "fooled" the first time.
    Can you describe the "crash"?
Try inserting the DVD in the disc drive while the Mac is not running. Then startup while depressing the Option key. Does the 10.4 DVD show up as one of the sources to boot from?
Will it boot in Safe Mode? See
What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? (Mac OS X)
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107392
Takes a while to run, but it usually "fixes" problems.
Doesn't your GF have the restore DVDs that came with the PB G4?
     Cheers, Tom

  • Why do I need to unplugg all USB devices every time I want to boot up my pc?

Hello, recently I came across this weird problem where i need to unplug my usb devices every time I want to boot up my PC. I've disabled the "boot from usb" option in the BIOS however it didn't fix it. This issue is on my HP elite 8300 CMT. Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

Typically what happens - one device causes the problem.  If you find the offending device by doing one device at a time, perhaps it will be something that you do not really need all the time.  I had a USB printer that would prevent proper bootup or shut down, so just left it disconnected most of the time.

  • My ipad has been disabled and off for a year and it doesnt want to turn on is there any way i can restart or turn on?

My ipad has been disabled and off for almost a year already i want to restart my ipad but doesnt want to charge is there any way i can make my ipad turn on or restart i alreaady tried charging it for acouple hours and clicking the middle and top button at the same time but it still doesnt work.... is there any other way to restart my ipad?

You don't just click the home and sleep button, you have to hold them down for at least 10 seconds while it is connected to the charger. If it comes awake (and it could take several tries) ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo and then let go of the buttons.
But that may not work. Polymer Ion batteries need exercise, a full power cycle is recommended once a month. Your battery may be dead.

  • Ibook g4 (2005) wont boot from cd.  always wants to boot from hd.  how do i change the boot sequence?

so my ibook as i wrote will not boot from the cd rom.  it always wants to boot from the hd but i had the hd wiped b/c it had linux and it would not allow me to access the firmware.  now that the hd is clean i was able to access the firmware but i dont know how to change the boot sequence.  the starts to spin in the drive and acts like it want to boot from the cd but the cd just keeps spinning and i get a screen with a blinking question mark and smiley face.

Hello and welcome to the support community.
Why do you need to go into the firmware?
If the disk is a boot disk like Mac OS X, then all you need to do is hold down 'C' key or the option key while the disk is in the drive and the iBook is booting up (After the chime)
If either doesn't work, then there must be an issue with the disk not being a boot disk or corrupted. Alternatively a problem with the optical drive. You don't need to go into the firmware to change any boot selection.
    Hope this helps

  • My Center button on my Ipod 3rd generation is not working? What do i do it still goes up and down just doesnt select anything.

My Center button on my Ipod 3rd generation is not working? What do i do it still goes up and down just doesnt select anything.

What I had to was backup my device's data to either iCloud or iTunes. Once it was backed up I erased all of my settings as if my iPad just came out of the box. You set it up again and it will asked you to either start as new, back up from iTunes, or back up from ICloud. If you want to see if everything works you can set up as new, otherwise just pick the choice depending on where you backed up your information. Eventually it will restore all of your information and your iMessage and FaceTime should be working. It worked for me, if you'd like more/better instructions let me know!!

  • My i phone 4 doesnt want to start, my i phone 4 doesnt want to start

the phone doesnt want to charge

If your car has Bluetooth installed, you only need to pair your radio with the iPhone. If you don't have Bluetooth in-car then check if your radio has an AUX connection (which is what your friend probably meant). If it does, you have two options, one, just get a cable with a 3.5mm stereo jack on either end and plug one end into your radio, the other into the iPhone, select AUX on the radio and play your music/ radio station on the iPhone, it will come out on your car speakers. Option two is to use the AUX connection on the radio with a Bluetooth receiver, just plug the cable into the receiver in place of the iPhone and pair them, then you can play your music / radio wirelessly. An alternative to a dedicated BT receiver is a set of Bluetooth headphones, just plug the AUX lead into the headphone connection for the same effect.
I use a tiny Bluetooth receiver from Dealextreme ($10) and it work brilliantly.

  • My iMac doesnt want to read/run the Mac OS X Install DVD, what can I do?

My iMac doesnt want to read/run the Mac OS X Install DVD, what can I do? What I want to do is format my mac, so I need to run de DVD Installer when the Mac start up holding C buttom. Is there any other way to do it?

You must be using the original grey OS X discs that shipped with the machine or a retail OS X installation disc.
If you are attempting to use a grey OS X disc that did not ship with your iMac, it will not work since they are machine-specific.
Other than those reasons, it is possible the disc is dirty or scratched, or your optical drive has simply failed. In the latter event you need to replace it or use an external optical disc drive, or boot your iMac in FireWire Target Disk Mode and use another Mac to read the disc.
