My comp model is pavilion dv3 - 4150st. The sound is stucking a few seconds then it continues.

I bought my pc last month. But in a five day, I realised a problem in the sound. When I am listening to music or watcihing a video, the sound is stucking a few seconds then it is going on. I define the problem as a splutter or a noise at the same time. I want to give back the pc but the technical service can not find the exact problem. I don not know why... Because this sound  problem does not happenin  every time. Sometimes it occurs in five munites or sometimes in one-two day. Again I can not understand why the technic service did not find the problem. Then.... I sent my pc to technic service for repairing... The service called me and said that "we did not find the problem, what can we do?", I said that please listen the pc for one day. Service said that do not worry abut it, we will listen one day and solve the problem. After two hours, an message received to me: "your pc repair is completed successfully"".... But it is a big lie... When I went to the technic service, I learned that the service did not do anything and sent it with the same problem. I phoned the service, I returned the fabric settings.... Again the problem is still contiuning...  What can I do? I will write it in every platform...  I feel myself like a stupid.

    Have you tried charging it with another known working USB sync cable?  After letting it sit to "charge" for at least 30 minutes, have you tried resetting the device by pressing and holding both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

    The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.

    When I havent got my ipad connected to a power supply I get an image on my ipad of the usb cable with an arrow pointing to a itunes icon and no matter what you try and do iyt stays on that for a few seconds and then switches off the ipad, connecting it through usb into itunes on my PC (XP) this image says on the screen but I get a message on itunes saying itunes has detected an ipad in recovery mode and mneeds to be restored - when I fire off the restore through itunes after a few minutes it comes back and says it cannot restore and give an error message 1603.  I have also repeated the process through my wife's laptop (Vista) and get the same situation -it is an 32GB Ipad 3 purchased last November -  any ideas ?

    Try and turn off iPad/iPod and proceed to step 3 of Recovery Mode.
    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
    3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
    Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • When watching videos on YouTube and other sites, the sound plays for a few seconds and then stops.

    I've ensured that the sound is working by pressing the volume up/down buttons and by looking in System Preferences to check it's switched to Internal Speakers, and sound plays through iTunes, so I think it could be something to do with Safari. When I Quit Safari and reopen it the sound tends to work, but then goes off again.
    Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.

    The movement of the lips when a video plays is not synced with the verbal noise that comes from speaking. It's like if I am talking and I hear it moments later not when I actually say it.

  • I have songs on iTunes that seem to have corrupted files with time.  The songs play for a while then suddenly stop mid-song and iTunes goes to the next song.  On my iPod the playback pauses for a few seconds then picks up again.

    Some of these songs were purchased via iTunes.  I would like to download them again but the Download buttons are grayed out when I bring up the purchased songs listing.  Any help appreciated.  Is there any way to quickly get a file integrity check done?

    Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting those incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them (if they are still in your country's store) via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. Or delete them and copy them back (File > Add To Library) from your backup of your downloads/library.

    What model MBP and which version of OS X? Sounds as if the hard drive may have failed. If you have an installation disc, try booting with it. If your machine came with Lion or Mountain Lion, try booting to the Recovery partition - Command and R keys held down while booting.

    Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.

    Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive
    to get your data off the machine,
    then do a #20 to eliminate the bad sectors as that's why your getting the "pinwheel" it's getting a delay reading from the drive, right when your trying to log in too, what a bad spot for it to happen.
