My company email is starting to save numerous drafts of the same email even after it has been sent

Earlier today my company email (set-up in Mail) started saving numerous drafts of emails even after they have been sent out? Any idea why this is-I have talked to the service provider and they have led me to believe it is an Apple issue

There is no anti-malware for iOS, at least none that actually does anything useful. The odds of getting any malware infection via an email attachment on an iOS device is quite low - practically non-existent. Unless you are seeing any issues, there isn't much to do, other than deleting the email and being more cautious in the future.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

This seems to be an annoying part of the newer OS. When I first got my Pearl in 2008, I didn't have that occur. However once the OS got upgraded, and now with the Tour, it seems like that is the way it works. Not clear to me why they would have thought this is preferable.

No. Although you could migrate your mail to iCloud via IMAP, iCloud does not support sending emails from your own domain - only iCloud's own @me.com and @mac.com addresses can be used.

If you have a backup, you can restore the e-mails. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Library/Mail/V2.

Ask for security question but they send the email to my other second account ! Not the same email which i logon it

I had a weird problem i have two id apple account one of them i forget the security question i try to ask for reset but when i login to first email and ask for reset they send the email to other email which is in other account !! I need it to send to the same email which i login through it i do not know how they know the other email is my second email
Now i can not reset my security question because they send it to other email which has been hacked !!

The link for "Reset of password has been sent successfully" never appears in my email

I have 2 emails an old and a new and I do not know which one is correct. I try signing in with each separately and asking for a "RESET" of my password. In each case it states that a "link has been sent successfully to the email you provided" but nothing ever appears. I already have Thunderbird but is it a question of simply re registering?

Mail 4. Searching email I get up to 3 entries of the same email

In the search function for emails I get up to 3 times the same email in the email directory.
Definitely this email is only once in that email directory.
How can I change that?

try rebuilding that mailbox using mailbox menu->rebuild. if that does not help reindex your Mail folder with spotlight. add your home folder to spotlight's privacy pane in system preferences for a few seconds and then remove it from there. try searching again.

Send emails from a csv file (grouping records with the same email addresses)

Writing a script to send emails from a csv which contains record details and email addresses using the Send-Mailmessage cmdlet.
That part is no trouble, however, the csv file contain records that can have the same email address.
Is there a way/method I could send the records with the same email address once instead of sending individual email messages?

An Email in progress leaves me with 5-8-10 drafts of the same email in my draft folder

Now, when i am working on an email for awhile, and then finally send it, I find 5-8-10 drafts of the email in my draft folder. Previously it saved periodically and once the em was sent, the draft disappeared. Now I have to cintinually clean out the draft folder of useless duplicates. And the delete is slow.
I STILL can't find anything with the search command. And f I try to search- I can not see emails in ANY folder until I ave logged out and logged back in. If I log in too quickly - I still can;t see emails.- just felt like whining.....
Icloud email is unbelievably dis-appointing. I would think we would see improvements everyday- but its like they have given this to us and gone out to lunch.

This has rendered my account unusable. Leaving mail open for any time can create hundreds of duplicates. There is no problem with duplicate downloads on my iPhone.

I just started several different addresses why does the same email appear in every address

Just started using Thunderbird and now need several addresses. The top one is my main address but every email to that one appears in all the others as well.
I am sure the program should be able to deal with this.

For the purpose of creating a paper trail we have to print out at least the 1st page of all emails sent to our clients. Love using Thunderbird and would like to keep using it. I know there is a feature in Outlook. Hope you guys have one too :)

There is an add-on, [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/send-filter/ Send Filter], that allows filters to act on the Sent folder, and there is an add-on, [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/filtaquilla/ FiltaQuilla], that adds Print to the filter Actions. I can't confirm whether or not you can get them to work together to achieve your aim.

While composing emails, either a new email or replying to a received email, multiple partial versions of the same email appear in trash folder. For a lengthy email, e.g. 2 pgs. I may have as many as 100 partial versions of that email appear in trash.

The Mac has 2 profiles. When composing an email in mail (gmail account), multiple versions of the same email appear in trash as you are composing the email. Does not appear to be any specific attributes which trigger this. When email is sent. The entire email appears in sent folder, while you still have multiple versions in trash. This same thing occurs if you create and save a draft email.
This only occurs on one of the two profiles. Both profiles are administrators. But this is the secondary profile.
We have compared all settings on the Mac for both profiles, gmail online, etc.
Anyone have any ideas?

Ick. So it can't just work sensibly? Sensible would be either autosave overwrites previously autosaved versions or all autosaved versions would be deleted when the message is finally sent. Allowing previous message versions to accumulate endlessly might be beneficial to someone, but does not seem like sensible default behavior.
