My company purchased CS5.5 this year. However, we missed the 5 August upgrade deadline for CS6.
We were not inform of the deadline for download of compliementary upgrade to CS6. Any way to get the complimentary upgrade?
I've talked to the Chat Support from Adobe. Apparently, he is not helpful at all.
Erm, not helpful at all. We did a purchase in January 2012 with the distributor on the pretext that there will be upgrade from CS6. So, what we did is buy the upgrade from CS2 to CS5.

And the upgrade from CS5.5 to CS6 web premium is not cheap either. Seems like we are stuck in CS5.5.

No... if you do not have CS3 installed, you will enter your CS3 serial number when asked for proof of a qualifying product... and then you will enter your different CS5 serial number... every version, new or upgrade, has a unique serial number

As the hatter said, you CAN use the Upgrade version of Windows 7. Here's more details:
Install Windows 7 normally, using Boot Camp and your Win 7 Upgrade disk. Use the "Custom (Advanced)" option.
When it asks you to enter your product key / license, don't enter anything -- just hit Next. This will allow you to continue installing Windows with a 30-day trial.
After you've installed Windows 7, stay in Windows (don't boot to OSX) and put your Win 7 Upgrade disk back in the drive, and run the Setup file that's on the disk.
This will guide you through the upgrade process. This time, instead of Custom, use the "Upgrade" option.
When it asks you, go ahead and type in your product key, and choose to Activate.
However, please note that if you do this, and you DON'T already own a previous version of Windows (and stop using that previous version immediately), you'll be violating the software license agreement. These are the requirements to use the Upgrade version. If you don't meet these requirements, I strongly recommend you install with a full version of Windows 7. -
SInce three weeks ago, exactly when I downloaded the new software upgrade to solve the battery short duration, I started to have problems with my iphone, every morning appears a SIM error and I have to reset the device to get internet signal. And then I have to do teh same every 3-4 hours because the sim error appears again! I brouth the device to my phone company ( telcel) but they cannot do nothing to fix this. They told that Apple know about this, because it is happening to many people. So, we all are waiting a new upgrade SOON PLEASE!!!

Were the missing photos in the camera roll on your iPad 2? The backup only includes camera roll photos.
If they were, but were not restored from the backup, if you still have the iPad 2, import the missing photos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) then put them in a folder and sync them to your new iPad by selecting the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and syncing. (The only downside of this approach is that the only way they can later be deleted from your iPad is to sync them off again using iTunes. To get them in your camera roll you would need to use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them from your computer to the camera roll on your new iPad using you wifi.) -

I just upgraded to 10.10. On the mail program, one of my accounts is having an issue sending email. I am getting the following error message:
The certificate for this server is invalid.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.
But on another machine running Mavericks, I can still continue to send email. The same is try from my iPhone 5S.
On that machine running Mavericks the SMTP is configured as SSL and for "Usual Ports" (25, 465, 587) but THIS OPTION IS MISSING ON THE NEW VERSION. On the new version I have tried configuring the port to 25 and then 465 and 587 with no success. I have used the Network Utility to see if my provider is blocking me -- it is not. I have no third-party software on this machine (anti virus). I can receive email fine. On the new Yosemitie Mail there are new checkbox options of Automatically check my settings and Allow unsecure connections. I tried to uncheck SSL for SMTP but then it says it cannot send securely my passowrd and i need to check the option "Allow to send unsecurely". I did that but the same error message keeps appearing. So I have tried nearly everything I have been able to, all to no avail. Please can somebody help?Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is a POP account. Incoming mail is fine. My port for incoming is also 110. But the outgoing port should be 587 (or 24, 465 and 587 as on Mavericks' "Usual Ports" option). I am using the same configuration across three different devices and only the machine running Yosemite is having issues. I notice in the new version of Mail there is no longer the "Usual Ports" option. I am not sure this is the culprit or not. But the fact is no matter how I configure it, it will not send mail for these particular servers. I have multiple clients and only one is affected, meaning I can send email from other email addresses (different hosting contracts) on Yosemite but on this one particular one I cannot.

You cannot contact the iTech Developer. This ripoff vendor has no contact info and I expected more protection from Apple then to allow such a shady vendor to sell to their customers. Their collage app is a complete ripoff. It does nothing! It's partly my fault for not reading reviews first! I know better now. Thought Apple would safeguard their customers as they have always done in the past! I am very upset right now!

Just go to google finance and get a stock quote on any stock and then the price comes up and you can choose to see the price history of different time periods, 1, 5, day one week, one month, etc. In the past when you hit the button for one of the charts, it would just change the chart on the same page, now it opens a new page that is blank?

In any window, while using any application, the browser crashes and closes. I've attached the last 5 crash IDs. This is particularly vexing, as I work to deadline and am regularly losing huge blocks of text due to crashes between constant saves.
Are there any available patches, fixes, etc, for this problem, or will this require straight uninstalling?
