If you got the iPad from your school, and the Installing Apps restriction is 'off' but greyed out (as you 've said here https://discussions.apple.com/message/16137325#16137325) so that the App Store app is hidden, then it's likely that your school has set the restriction - you will need to ask them to remove the restriction for you.

I upgraded my ipad and my printer now for some reason it can't find my printer why

Ever since I upgraded my ipad mini and my hp photosmart 5520 printer it seem my ipad mini can't find my printer to print anything ,didn't have this problem till I upgraded both items how can I fix it

I have answered my own question I turned off both my ipad and printer and then started both again and it still didn't work so I rebooted my internet modem and then everything worked again so maybe it will work for others as well

My Ipod displays the red-orange circle with an X inside, and the apple support web address. I can't find a reference to this and I haven't seen it before. Any ideas what this means?

The ipod has been working erratically for the last few weeks. Stops playing mid-song, takes forever to load the next song on shuffle mode. Today, stopped playing altogether. I've come across the following information which may be helpful. If you are seeing the red "X" icon on the display, we will need to restore your iPod from Disk Mode.

Restore iPod from Disk Mode
Disconnect iPod from your computer.
Manually put iPod into Disk Mode.
Open the latest version of iTunes and connect iPod.
Restore iPod.

The HP ePrint Service app is not intended for consumer product.
It will provide you the option to print to public location ePrint Printers..
The App providing the required feature is the HP ePrint Home & Biz app, available from the Apple app store.

When using firefox, my computers freezes up from time to time, every program freezes and then my computer just restarts, the strange thing then is that it can't find my harddrive, which i fix by pressing the power supply button.

This problem only happens on my Desktop, my Laptop doesn't have any problems with it, both use the same app-tabs and plugins, maybe 1 or 2 that are different.
It happens just randomly when browsing, or when playing a game, or even when idle left at night, i come back and i see that it crashed.
App-tabs: Twitter, Hyves, Facebook, GooglePlus, Gmail, Google Documents, Google Calendar.

Both have all Microsoft updates installed.
It even happened when i was typing this, luckily Firefox has a restore function so i don't have to retype this again!.. It's really annoying, re-installing my desktop didn't help either, I'm generally quite good with computers, but this problem isn't fixable by me, or at least not with what i know.

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

I transferred everything over with an ethernet cable. All my apps are working... Photoshop... Illustrator... InDesign won't though.

adobe products are especially prone to problems when 'migrated'. they should be properly install using the installation files.
at this point, uninstall your cs 5.5, clean and reinstall using the proper installation files, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

Downloaded the output file for bridge, but still can't find output option in bridge?

I bought photo shop for a photography class and was told I needed to install the output plug-in in order to make a PDF file for the class assignments. I followed the steps and put it in the correct folder but it still isn't showing up as an option when I go to change my workspace. This is getting aggravating.

You mean update your iPhone software? Yes, you can do that on any computer, but it REQUIRES an internet connection & yes the software needs to be downloaded unless already on the computer and the exact version for your model iPhone.

You have two basic options. One is to use a commercial screen recording app with access to system audio built into the app and the other is to add a system extension like SoundFlower that allows the QT X screen recorder to access/record the system audio. I use the former so I am not that familiar with SoundFlower but there should be several posts to this forum covering this topic.
