My computer crashed and all songs were lost, how do I get them back?
My Dell computer crashed, and I lost my songs in my library. When I plugged it back in, only the purchased songs were put back in the library. How can I put all of the songs on my iPod Touch back into my iTunes library? Please help me! Thank you so much!
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use this to put everything back.
The music sync is one way -computer to ipod. The exception is itunes music.

definitly don't throw your iPod away.
Which iPod touch do you have? And, have you tried shutting it off completely and then turning it back on? Press and hold the button on the top until it powers off, wait about a minute and then press and hold the button until it comes back on.
Let us know what it's like after you do that.

Did you backup the iPad first? If you did - restore from the backup in order to restore the photos in the Saved Album on your iPad. If the photos were synced to the iPad, then sync them back again via iTunes.

If you did backup first, you will be restoring your most recent backup and you should be OK. But know that when you restore from a backup, you restore everything that is in that backup onto the iPad .... All documents, device settings, all data and so on. You cannot just select photos to restore to the iPad. It's all or nothing. -
I tried to sync the music on my PC with my old iPhone, but all of my songs on iTunes were deleted, How do I get them back? When I go to the iTunes store and look at the songs I hade before, it says I already purchased them, but when I go back to my library, they are all gone. thx for help !!!!!Which photos? If the missing photos were synced to the iPod then you have to get them from where you got them the first time. Synced photos are not in the backup that iTunes makes.

like roaminggnome said you should see your contacts again once you sync with iTunes. if you used iCloud before, make sure contact sync is turned on and your contacts should be back.

Its a easy fix,it will take too much time to type out all of the steps,
Check your email account. see if they are their, You can then import them on your DAV card, The best thing to is add them to icoud then they will be safe.

Have you synced back up to your iTunes account? This happened to me too, and when I synced back up with iTunes, all of my photos were backed up to my iTunes account and loaded back onto my iPhone.

The iPhone does not store ANY information on the SIM card. If they were truly on the SIM, re-import them from the SIM.

By reinstalling do you mean that you deleted the app and redownloaded it ? Deleting an app will remove the app and its contents. Do you have copies of the PDFs in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library so that you can sync them back ?
