My computer crashed and I am trying to import an existing book

my hard drive crashed and i have everything saved, but now i want to import an existing book that i have done into a new install of lightoom.

I have an ibm think pad with windows 7. my hare drive crashed and i have replaced it and re-loaded all the software and have ir running beautifully. I have re-installed all the pix that were in the program and would like to put a book that i had done back in without having to re-do it. I should be able to take one of the lightroom config files and do that, my prolbem is that i don't know which one and how. Thanks for any help

I realise there have been a number of threads like this now that I have started looking, the problem is the back-ups i made were saved to a server network which has now also gone down, a case of dreadful luck really. Is there any other way to get the music back?

Please download Acrobat X Pro from the link below.

Install the software and when prompted for the previous version qualifying product, select Acrobat 9 and enter the serial key of Acrobat 9.
This should install and activate Acrobat X Pro on the machine.

My computer crashed this morning. Tried to restart and get nothing but grey screen. Have tried soft boot, reseting PRAM. Tried my original disc and now that is stuck in the drive. Nothing but grey screen appears.

On itunes open the store tab and click manage accout, once your in there should be a settings tab called devices, remove the old computer and then try to authorize yours under the store tab in itunes.

Make sure Contacts and Calendars are selected.

You don't. the ipad is not a backup/storage device. it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer. The sync is one way - computer to ipad. The only exception is itunes purchases.
Did you fail to maintain a backup copy of your computer?
If so, not good.
You may be able to purchase a third party program, not supported by Apple, to get the other music.
