My computer crashed and the shop that fixed it deleted everything on it including my songs on itunes?

My computer crashed and in order to fix it they had to restart everything on it when i redownloaded itunes my songs still apear on it but they won't play because i no longer have the files.
Now the songs show up in the new itunes i installed but the file cannot be located. I just spent the last year in military training so i didnt have time to deal with this until now. To make matters worse befor i left for training my ipod broke and i sold it to the pawnshop for like $5. Im considering buying a new one but am currently refusing to buy anymore Apple products til i solve this. When i try to conntact support it asks for my item serial number but i dont have one being other than my $3000.00+ worth of itunes songs i no longer own anything Apple.
My question is does anyone know how to fix this or how to get ahold of Apple customer support w/o a serial number?

Your data are gone since you no longer have the drive on which they were stored nor do you have a backup. Apple cannot help you with this.
If you purchased your iTunes tracks in the iTunes Store then you can re-download them: Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store. Of course you will need an Apple computer to do so. You will also need your Apple ID and password that you used to purchase the tracks.
