On getting the repair done i have lost all of my playlists and purchased songs etc in iTunes, Can i import all of this info direct into iTunes from my old iPod classic which still has it all on? I'm sure this sounds really basic but i don't want to connect my iPod and lose all of this content.
Please help, not a techy person!!.

My old computer crashed [Windows 8.1]. I have a new computer [8.1]. I do not know about file saving. If my old bookmarks still exist in some form of Firefox storage, I would like to know how to recover them.
If the old bookmarks do not exist in any form of storage in Firefox, then I would know to stop trying to recover them.
I do have the old bookmarks in a Word document (30 pages). Can the Word document be loaded into Firefox? I have tried converting it into HTML, but when loading it into Firefox I get strings of computer code instead of bookmarks.

My ipad is recognised as a camera when connected to my computer running on Windows XP. When my ipad has photos on it and I connect it to my computer it is initially recognised as a camera before my computer crashes.

On previous occasions when I have not had any photos on my ipad it has connected to my computer without any problem.Is there a way of solving this problem without having to remove all of my photos from my ipad.

Being recognized as a camera is normal. Your computer sees the DCIM folder and doesn't know the difference between a 'real' camera and an iPad.
One way to stop it could be to tell windows explorer what to do. When you plug your iPad in do you see a little pop up window listing things to do with the device? If so, there should be an option to 'do nothing', which means you tell your computer 'hey, ignore this device'. Your iTUnes will still work when you connect them, the windows protocols that search for images, etc. should just let it be and hopefully stop the crashing.

Acrobat 9 Standard Crashes Windows XP SP3 -restarts computer-

I installed Acrobat 9 Standard. When I attempt to export pages from an PDF it crashes windows. There is a Blue Screen of death but it flashes to quick for me to read it. The file is not corrupted because I went to another computer and did the same thing with out crashing.

deleted the preferences
repaired the program
changed profiles
loaded it without extra applications
... nothing seems to keep this from crashing windows...

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.

i had photoshop elements 7 installed on my windows 7 computer and everything worked fine.
then my computer crashed and i had to reinstall windows 7. but when i tried entering my serial number now, it wouldn't accept it, even though on my account it says that the serial number is correct and working.
customer service told me i had to ask you guys on forum.

Actually I found the problem after searching through the forum list - it was the solution to reset the organizer's online-services state.
Right, that was the step 7 I referred to.
Is there a known problem with this feature? I definitely am leery of ordering prints through the organizer field again.
Yes, it's been a known problem in the Organizer since at least PSE 6 (2007), with an Adobe tech note describing the problem and the workaround:

Like most bugs in the Organizer, Adobe has explicitly chosen not to fix it.
The problem appears to occur when an upload to a service is interrupted or fails. The workaround, deleting those files, seems pretty reliable.

Using iTunes 7 for Windows...and my computer crashes...

I downloaded iTunes 7 for PC, using Windows, and I have two issues, one minor and one major:
1) I can leave iTunes open and running on my computer, but when I start playing songs, after a few minutes my computer crashes to a blue screen...any help?
2) Also, after installing iTunes 7, my desktop icon is not the actual iTunes icon, it just shows up as a generic image icon...any help on this?
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Since iTunes is showing the generic icon one the desktop, the install probably did not complete successfully.
I would recomend uninstalling iTunes, and reinstalling it.
This article has steps for removing iTunes, then download a the installer again, saving the file to the desktop, and then install it.
