Hi kebocj,
Your question is better suited to the iPod forums, this area is for feedback.
This is possible, see the following post: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=797426#797426

My computer crashed with all my itunes files. I was able to get some off and transfer them to another computer. I am afraid to sync my ipod to the new computer becaused I do not want to loose all of my playlists and other music. Will this happen?
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them. -
Our Windows PC crashed with all our music on it. There are copies of both purchased (thru iTunes store) and from our own CDs on an external HD in a backup file. They are not linked to a Media file. Is there any way I can put this music on my new computer?
The syncing of music is one way, computer to phone. See this helpful document from a fellow user. Credit goes to the author.

my computer crashed and all my music is gone. Can i put the music from iPhone back on the computer?
Yes you can. There are few ways to do this, assuming that itunes with your library doesn't work anymore.
You can try with a freeware software for Windows named
iPhone PC Suite
Another way is to install on your iPhone an app that shares your music. I have one, it's called SongExporter. -

My computer crashed and all the music in my library is gone. I only have the music in my nano which I'm trying to move into the library so I can burn cd's. Is there a way to do this? I'm going nuts.
Thank you
nancyYes. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer on different ways to copy music from your iPod to your PC.

I would suggest the manual method over using 3rd party software, but the choice is entirely yours.

My old computer crashed, with all my iTunes data on. What do I do?
Hi,
I have over 200 songs on my iPod, and I liked to import CD's to my iPod using my old computer, which crashed, meaning I can't transfer CD's to my iPod. I got iTunes on my netbook, and I also have a disc drive, so I tried to import my new CD from there to my iPod, but when I tried syncing the library (with my CD on now) it said "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, films, TV programs, books, and tones from this iPod and sync with this iTunes library?" But I don't want to remove ALL of my songs from my iPod, because I love music and I don't want to lose them forever...what do I do, I don't understand? How do I put my CD onto my iPod without removing any songs?
Thanks. For non-Tune purchases you need a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

Old computer died with all my music/apps
Our old computer died along with my music and apps I had in iTunes.
I can still bring up iTunes. Will I be able to back up the music and apps to some discs and then load into iTunes on the new computer? If I connect my IPod Touch to iTunes on my new computer, will I lose everything on there?
Thanks for the info! Here is some info on transferring stuff.

After transferring stuff, you will have to erase and sync your iPod to the new computer. You should get dat off the iPad since the transferring (I think) only transfer the app and not the data with the app. -
Is there any way possible to get these 800+ songs off my iPad and to a new computer or even my new iPhone 5?
BothiPad and iPhone are running ios6.
Good I hope so.
Thanks. You'll have to use 3rd party software to do so as iTunes will only transfer music purchased from the iTunes store. Some options include Touch Copy (pc or mac) or PhoneView (mac only).
