My computer does not auto read my iphone when connected. How? Can't sync.
When i plug in my iphone 3GS to my laptop, there was no auto read.
I tried switching off my phone and rebooting my laptop and just downloaded the latest version of itunes. Nothing seemed to work. How?

If you using on a windows pc, maybe you should reinstall the iCloud Control Panel. You can download the latest version from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455?viewlocale=en_US
If you cant see your changes on icloud.com than you have trouble between outlook and icloud. this is the part of the icloud control panel. -
When I try to sync my music on my iPhone 4 I have a tab at the top that says 'on this iPhone'. This is at the end of all the other tabs like info, ringtones, music etc. The music in that tab is always on my phone but does not show in my itunes library. How can I get it into my library? It doesn't sync either.
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

iphone 4s does not download emails using imap when connecting to smartermail v2 mail server.
when I search - the search results show and i can view the emails, but inbox doesnt download emails - says load more messages x read..
the folders are displaying ok.
Smartermail 2 is about 10 years old ( im not upgrading as its working fine other than this issue ) imap is fine with other mail clients.

ipad does not come on once its unpluged from power source,it enters recovery mode when both power and home botton are pressed with usb on powersource but does not come up at all when connected to computer or out of power source
What model iPad do you have? If it's an iPad 1, the battery may have expired and needs replacement.

I navigated to Summary tab (not Info Tab) and checked "Sync with this ipad over Wi-Fi"
I disconnect the wire,
and my iPad disappears from my iTunes screen.
in my iPad ->Settings -> General -> iTunes Wi-Fi Sync -> says " Sync will resume when (my PC) is available.
So, I can not sync via wi-fi

- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes. -
