My computer fan has gone mental

Hi guys
I have a HP PAVILLION G6 NOTEBOOK running on windows 8.1 64bit. Literally a week after buying my computer the fan has gone absolutely mental. I have uninstalled software, cleaned, installed software to slow the fans but it sounds like a plane waiting to
take off.
In fact its now embarrassing as when I take my comp outside the whole world hears it.
Can someone please help me. I will upload screenshots of whatever you need to help me solve this problem as I am now at my wits end
P.S as i write this my cpu is at 98 degrees, gpu the same and hdd at 47degrees.

Did you reinstall your OS? I suggest to reinstall everything back to the factory condition since this PC new to eliminate OS, SW and setting issue
Did you upgrade your OS from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1?
what kind of software that you mention "I have uninstalled software, cleaned, installed software to slow the fans but it sounds like a plane waiting to take off" ?
or just go to BIOS and reset BIOS, if always like this, I suspected this hardware issue.

My Ipod has gone mental!!

The other day i had to copy some music off my ipod onto a computer that does not have itunes, so i accessed the files throught realplayer, everything was going fine until i started burning a cd and my computer crashed. In the end i switched the computer off at the mains, and unplugged my ipod.
Ever since i unplugged it the apple sign has been appearing, a whirring noise sounds, it goes blank and then the sign appears again and the sequence starts over. After about half an hour it will stop and the screen will go back however if u try resetting it starts up again doing its strange apple-logo flashing sequence.
I've tried charging it and plugging it into the computer, however it is not recognised... I've left it be for three days now... no change.
What should I do???

Try a pram reset; Power down in the normal procedure, power back up holding the following keys before the start up chime ; option,command,P,R (no commas)continue to hold these these keys until you hear the start up chimes 2 times, then release. Reboot and see if this helps. If this persists, you should bring the machine to an Apple store, or an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) Hope this helps:)

My fan has gone crazy....

Yesterday the fan kicked in incredibly noisliy: you can usually hear it quietly in the background, but them it started really hard, the sound being of rushing air through the system.
I thought at first it was maybe heating up, so I left it for a while, then sent it to sleep. No difference, so I completely shut down and left it overnight: no difference again.
I tried resetting the SMU and other things recommended for someone else with a vaguely similar problem, but again, no difference.
So what's happening here? The only difference in my normal operations is that I've backed up using Time Machine, but that's finished now so why would it affect things?
I'm at a loss, and the noise is driving me crazy, I hope someone can help!

Thanks, Dale, I've tried that and it comes back saying the disk "appears to be OK."
What I'm not sure of is why there'd be a disk connection - or is it something to do with the startup process?
Since this only happened after I'd used Time Machine for the first time, I tried disconnecting the external hard disk just in case, but it made no difference.
Just to clarify my problem, the iMac is working fine - except that the fan is blowing away at full strength in a way it's never done before. It's annoying because it makes so much noise!
Any other ideas?

what system version are you running?
what do you see when iPhoto launches?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.

I tried reloading Aperture 2.1, but that did not change anything. I have also turned the system off, for a period of time, and then turning it back on, when I click on Aperture, it comes up and locks in the thumbnail mode. I can view my stored pictures, even modify them, but it still says thumbnails.
I got in this mode by trying to import "one jpeg photo", from a scanned slide using a Nikon Scan4 IS5000ED scanner. I had saved the scan to my desktop before I tried to import it.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!

If you call around, you might be able to find an apple authorized repair shop in your area that can offer to put pull the hard dive out of the old computer and put it into an external hard drive.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

Ok; I'm not sure what you're doing. 36 hours is rather long. Seems like a new migration. Not what I intended.
Here's what I intended: from the newly-migrated and apparently-corrupt environment, create a new user, not related to any existing user, nor any migration-created user, or any other user for that matter. That is, use  > System Preferences > Users and Groups, authenticate yourself by clicking on the padlock, and then click the + and create a wholly new user. Then log in under that user and establish the mail access.
36 hours? I'm wondering if there's an error or an exceedingly slow network here? Or a really, really slow disk? Or a sick backup? (WiFi isn't the path I'd usually choose, either.)
Failing the attempted second migration, I'd try a different tactic. Does your existing (old) system work? If so, I'd bypass the backup and connect an external (scratch) USB disk drive to the (old) sstem and then boot and use Disk Utility booted from the installer DVD disk or boot and use Disk Utility from the recovery partition or booted from a recovery partition created on some other external storage (details here vary by the OS X version and what hardware you have), and perform a full-disk backup of your original internal disk to (scratch) external storage. (Make sure you get the source and target disks chosen correctly here; copying the wrong way — from the scratch disk to your existing disk — will clobber your data!) In esssence, this will clone your existing boot disk. Then dismount the (formerly-scratch) external disk, transfer it over to the new system, and use it as the source of the migration, by performing a fresh OS X installation on the new system.
Target Disk Mode is also sometimes an option for accessing the disk for a migration, but that requires the right cable, and requires systems that have the same external connection; newer MacBook Pro systems use Thunderbolt for this, and older systems tend to use FireWire. And I'm guessing you don't have compatible hardware.
The details here can and do vary by your OS X versions and your particular Mac systems — if you'll identify the specific models and hardware, somebody might be able to better tailor the above (fairly generic) sequence to your particular configuration.

go into the start menu > all programs & right click the firefox icon. in the context menu select "send to" and then "desktop (create a shortcut)" (not sure if those are the exact terms since i use a non-english os)
