My computer has been rebooted and now won't recognize my iphone even though i have downloaded itunes again
I have recently sent my laptop for repair and they have completely re booted it. However since I've gotten it back i have downloaded itunes again but the computeer and itunes won't recognise my iphone. Is this a fault with itunes or the laptop?

I agree with jbaldwin9182. This is a serious bug. The way sync is presented, one might easily interpret it as being a way to backup your data. I also used sync as such, having read the description and being assured by two others that really, all I needed to do was make an account and that would be that. Without this sync key I never learned about important data, over half of which irreplacable, disappeared just like that. Why wasn't I given notice that I needed a sync key? I would have saved it five times over.
There are hardly any services which people who know little of computers (like myself) are used to which ask for more than your username/email and password. People are not likely to realise you need anything else unless you tell them. It is easy to tell the user that this was not intended as a backup device, but the description does lead to the conclusion that it is, in fact, a way to backup your data. Please don't tell people they are doing something wrong when they are not being properly informed of what they should be doing in the first place. -
I'd like to have separate iCloud accounts for myself and my wife, at the moment any photos, calendars etc transfer to our iPhones & iPads from each other. I'd rather not have this as its a nuisance when we receive items that one of us doesn't want!.

It would boot for a while, get through the first cd of install and would stop randomly in the next install. I found out that the installation disk was cracked so I went out and purchased the Mac Box Set which includes Mac OS X Snow Leopard, iLife '09 and iWork '09 under advisement from an associate at the local apple store. Now, I try installing this new OS disk and all I get is the apple logo without a spinning wheel for about 10 minutes and the computer restarts and does it again. I have tried booting from disk, holding c while starting up, and in safemode, holding shift while booting. Please help save my poor poor macbook!!!
These errors look like corrupt or missing files that leopard requires. It sound like you need to start from scratch: format your drive, reload Leopard. I realize that this is probably what you are trying to do.
If you cannot boot from install DVD and cannot successfully get into Safemode or Single usermode (due to a corrupt or incomplete install) then you will need another computer to assist you.
If you can get it into Target Disk Mode and have another Mac you could plug it into that Mac and reformat it.
If it will not go into TDM then you may need to take it out and put it into an external enclosure to plug into another Mac to format it. -
For a while now my computer has been saying " Start up disk is nearly full", however I don't have a lot of stuff saved on the computer I moved a lot to a flash drive, and all the other stuff are songs and recently saved essays for school. I have and frequently empty my trash can. I have researched this before and i see a lot of things that say get a external hard drive, but before I go and purchase one I want to make sure there is no other, simpler way, to solve this problem. You need an external drive so you can free up disk space. Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure you have a minimum of 15% free disk space.

After my computer has been asleep and I touch my trackpad, it wakes enough to show my icon but not enough to acknowledge my keyboard or trackpad so I can type a password. It seems the only way to make it work it to turn it off the back button.
The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

Yeah, I'm a Mac/Apple guy to the core, and have been since 7th grade (about 11-12 years now). Yet, I can't help but look at my iPod as if it has self-destructed. I was listening to it (w/ tape adapter, of course) on the way home in the car, then unplugged it for literally five minutes, got into my apartment, plugged it in my dell Latitude, and poof it had been reformatted. So, the moment I plugged it in, its funcionality basically vanished. The 5 R's have been useless thus far, and I can't even reformat using Explorer, because Windows tells me that the 1 GB iPod now has no storage capacity. ***? Strange, strange. Anyhow, sorry for the rambling, but this really confounds and frustrates me. APPLE....HELP US PLEASE!

Record about my phone (bought in Verizon store and connected to Verizon for 4 years) has been corrupted and now I can not make any changes to my data plan. Several sessions with the technical support and management have not resolved this issue. Each time technical people and top managers promised that this issue will be resolve tomorrow and they will cal me. Nothing happend!! I can not even cancel my service not just to upgrade it. Completely locked.

If you are the account owner you can go to the My Verizon web portal http://www.verizonwireless.com
You must log in with your cell number and your my Verizon portal password. Not the account pin.
Once there you can change your plan and services. However repeated incorrect login attempts will lock you out of the site. It a fraud prevention measure.
1-800-922-0204 call support with your cell number and or account number and account pin and they can assist you.
If you don't have the information then there is nothing they can do.
If you can verify who you are they may be able to reset your account access. But only if you are the account owner.

"Rebooting" means restarting &, as fruhulda said, that won't cause things to disappear. If you mean you had the hard drive erased & the system reinstalled, you will have to find the original disk with the AppleWorks installer.

I had an unauthorized purchase on my old apple ID so I created a new one since the old one had been deactivated and now I cannot update any of my apps, I have read that the apps will be tied to the old account but since the old one was deactivated I cant update them and I do not want to delete/lose their data, re download, and start all over again. Is there anyway to go around this issue?

However, I asked them to reopen it, and they just asked me to provide some security information (billing address, a recent purchase you made, etc.), and then they re-enabled it.
