My computer is dying help?

It seems every time i try to get my comp started it will start like normal all light working and monitors work, the blue screen pops up and then nothing, my mouse and keyboard wont work the fans are running but i wont seem to boot up. Idk if its the battery or if i need a total new MB

Hi,
That sounds like the "BIOS" menu. Try pressing F1, which should take you to the BIOS page. There should/may be a option to test your hard drive, which is probably what you might want to try.
It sounds like the boot maybe hanging because it can't find a hard drive. If you can get to the BIOS per above, then try booting from a CD or DVD and see if that works, then post back.

My main computer is dying - keys do not work and video is gone.
I purchased a new retina Macbook pro and want to reinstall Logic Audio Pro 9. I do not have my original discs. I can still access the program on the original Macbook to deauthorize if necessary.
But how can I reinstall wihtout the discs?
Any help would be great. Thank you!

Sorry, just getting back. Since it is a used phone, you may have to contact the prior owner to see if they cleared their Apple ID and passcode. You could not force it into recovery mode? Computer freezes -- PLEASE HELP

Each time a new song starts on my iTunes, about 10 seconds into the song my memory usage for iTunes will shoot up from 53,000K to 85,000K and will cause everything I am doing on my computer to freeze up for about 5-10 seconds. Like I said, this happens for each successive song. I have a 13,000+ song library and did not have this problem with iTunes 4.9 -- I recently updated to 5.0.1 and started experiencing this. So, I tried uninstalling 5.0.1 and reinstalling 4.9, but the same problem was now happening there as well. This is NOT a problem with my hardware, it is more than sufficient to support this usage, and happens even when iTunes is the only program running on the computer. PLEASE HELP, it is very annoying to have to stop what I'm doing and wait for 5 seconds each time a new song starts.

Boot from your original Tiger cd and run Disk Utility Repair Disk from there - it can repair directory problems which can't be fixed from normal Disk Utility.
If that doesn't work, an archive and reinstall of Tiger might be best - it's pretty simple and can save weeks of trying to track down and fix an obscure problem. Just make sure you thoroughly backup first. Check Apple's website for instructions http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107120. Disconnect all peripherals while you reinstall.
Once Tiger's reinstalled, download the combo update from here http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ (Note - don't use Software update for this). Re-attach peripherals one-by-one to see if anything is still upsetting Tiger.
I would then recommend you install third party software Macaroni, http://www.atomicbird.com/ to automate the necessary admin tasks needed to keep OSX in tip-top shape.

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Nevermind, I got it working.
I ended up extracting the new vob within MPEG Streamclip, which gave me an m2v and an aiff audio. I multiplexed those two back together in FFMpegX which gave me a complete VIDEO_TS folder with BUP and IFO files I needed.

My computer has died and I've had to by a new one. I have a creative cloud account registered under my email <Removed by Moderator> for both Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 which I pay for via Direct Debit.
I no longer have the Creative Cloud app but downloaded both programs to my new iMac. Photoshop works fine but Lightroom is still on trial purchase and asks for serial number. My account page on your site has no record of my CC account and shows no serial number for my purchased products. (It only lists a previous purchase of Lightroom-4)
How can get the serial numbers to my purchased products when they don't appear on my account settings on your website. Do I need to close my account a open a new one?

I pay £8.57 for my Creative Cloud purchases of both Photoshop CC and
Lightroom-5 via my Barclays Bank Account to Adobe in Ireland. The last
payment was 13 Aprii 2015. Two weeks ago.
Now I have a new computer. I can sign into my Creative Cloud but it says I
have a 'Creative Cloud free account' as I'm using trial versions. I do not
have a redemption code as I must of lost it when my old computer died. I
can get online so that is not an issue.
When I sign in to my account the Creative Cloud products do not appear
under my purchases so I cannot view serial numbers or change the credit
card I pay with. It seems that your website and my account section do not
know I am making regular monthly payments for CC.
If you check I am actually making the payments as I describe can you please
let me have my serial numbers.

Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.
Is there anything you could suggest. Thanks for your time.

Since your old computer is now longer working, the only songs that can easily be transferred are the ones you have purchased from iTunes. If you can access the files from the hard drive of the old computer, you can import those songs into the iTunes library on your new computer. Otherwise, you will need to re-import those songs from their original sources, be it CDs, file sharing sites, etc.

Lost my program on my computer ... help!

I had some computer problems ... several programs lost ... including my palm calendar. I have a palm centro. I can see all my calendar "name" and it has files ... however, I can not open Palm desktop. If you are desperate to "search whole file system" you'd look for
"eclipse.exe" on windows" and "eclipse" (executable file) on Linux or Mac.
If you downloaded a zip or tar file and simply unzipped it "in place"
the default is it'd put everything in a folder (where the zip or tar
file is) named "eclipse".
