My computer just stopped working... urgent help needed please!

Hello all...
Strangest thing just happened, and I'm on a pretty tight deadline.
Powermac G5, dual 2.0. This morning the computer was working just fine. I left for a couple hours, came back, pressed the mouse to bring it out of sleep, and there was no display on either of my monitors.
I forced a shutdown, and restarted thinking it was just a fluke... but once I restarted, no picture on either monitor. The monitor says there is no signal coming in from the computer.
Everything sounds normal with the machine, so I tried turning up the volume from the keypad, but didn't hear anything. Tried ejecting the superdrive; nothing.
Like I said, everything SOUNDS normal upon startup, and it even came out of sleep mode when I hit the mouse (I heard it startup), but I'm getting no response of any kind and no video out. HELP?
Any ideas here? I'm right in the middle of an editing project, and I HAVE to have it finished by Monday (it's friday right now).

OK, after input from another forum, I ordered a new video card thinking it would solve the issue.
Just installed it, and my computer is still not working. Everything starts up and sounds fine, but I have no signal to the monitors, and no keyboard response.
I tried starting in "firewire target mode" to my laptop, and it did not work.
I took out my main hard drive, connected it to my laptop via USB, and it works fine.
So... it's not the hard drive, not the video card... what else could be going wrong here?

Hey all. About hmm, a month ago I built myself a new PC (first time I'd done it from scratch and got some useful help here) Specs were:
MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum, A64 3200+ Venice, 1GB DDR Corsair Value, Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb, 40GB Hard Disk IDE, 80GB Hard Disk IDE, CD R/RW Drive and a Tagan 420W (23A 12V+) PSU.
Ok, it worked the day I built it just fine and has NO hick-ups or any indication of a problem for the past month. Running temperature was very cool etc. Now, I last turned it on about 24 hrs ago, downloaded some PDF files, shut it down. All was fine. Woke up this morning. Pressed the power button: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ZIp. No hum, fan movement, anything.
Now, considering it seems to have broken whilst being turned off. What could be the problem? So far I've tried:
* Using a different power socket
* Using a different plug
* Reconnecting the power switch and motherboard power connectors
None of those worked. There wasn't a thunderstorm or anything so I don't think any kind of surge would have been the problem. I havn't tried manually shorting the power switch connectors. What's a safe way to do that? Any other suggestions? How can I test my PSU is infact doing something?

My computer just stops working sometimes.

Hello, About 2 times a day when i'm using my computer it will just stop working. It will not close anything i have open, but it will not enable me to use them. For example ill be listening to Pandora on my desktop and Google chrome(and explorer) will stop
playing the music and will just sit there. I close the window and try to open it again, and it lights up on the task bar like its about to open, then it just slowly fades and never opens. At this point i go for the restart button and sometimes that does not
work, and i cant access anything so i'm forced to hold the power button then it works for a while after that. Please help me, this is getting very frustrating.

Computer just stops working

So this happens maybe 4 or 5 times a day.. I'll just be doing work, or surfing the internet, or whatever, and then the computer just completely freezes, no mouse movement, no keyboard action, nothing, I've even left it over night to see if it will respond and nothing happened. I've sent a diagnostic to Apple, I've upgraded to 10.5.4 and nothing seems to work, has any body got any ideas what it could be?

You may have a separate hardware test disc that came with the computer. If not use the install disc 1 and hold the option key down at startup to bring up bootable volumes one of which should be the hardware test. Holding the "c" key down at startup with a hardware test disc inserted should boot from it but sometimes holding the "d" key down is necessary. Your manual that came with your computer will be helpful in deciding which method you need to use. Tom

I have an iPod video 30GB, i downloded the latest iTunes & Quicktime version, and updated my iPod also to the latest update. When i connect my iPod and start downloading music from the library in iTunes, the iPod keeps on disconnecting and restarting by itself, and i get a message that the file iTunes.exe is corrupt. I tried Apple support and did all what they said by downloading the latest updates and versions, and also did the Chkdsk utility on Windows, but still it did not work, the iPod keep on restarting and i cannot download anything on it, i had it now for a week and did not use it at all because of this problem, can somebody with a technical background help me please, i use Windows XP.

X205-S9810 Computer just stopped working No beeps just black screen

Yesterday my laptop which was running just fine, went to sleep and I couldn't revive it. When I turn it on the fans start, the hard drive initializes then stops, the DVD starts and stops then the fans turn off and that's it. Black screen the entire time. Battery or AC Adapter makes no difference. The clock light flashes amber then red. I always have the AC Adapter plugged in.
I don't understand what could have happened I was using the machine just a few hours before.
I am an experienced builder and I am comfortable doing just about anything with hardware but this one has me puzzled.
Help please I need me computer back.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

ITunes just stopped working. HELP.

I have the latest version and have had no problems until today. When I opened iTunes it looked like it was installing something, then give me unknown error 200 and says it can't open.
HELP.
The only things I can think that might have messed with iTunes is the fact that I recently installed GearPlayer (a transcription program) and an audio conversion program. Perhaps one of those did something with my audio settings. Any hints on how to find out? I'm home after surgery and need my iTunes

DFU it is, then.
Plug the phone into a computer that is running the lates version of iTunes. The computer also needs uninterrupted access to the internet. Read through the instructions before starting the DFU. The process takes about ten minutes.
1. Once iTunes is up and running press and hold both the sleep/wake and home buttons - count to eight.
2. Let go of only the sleep/wake button - count to five.
3. Look at the computer. In a few seconds, you should see a popup. If nothing, look back at the iPhone.
If you see the Apple Logo, the DFU failed and it's doing a hard reset. From this point, you can let it finish the Hard Reset or you can re-attempt the DFU.
4. Follow the instructions on the iTunes popups. The warnings are telling you that all you information will be lost. If you consent to that data loss, then continue.

My 4th generation i-pod touch has just stopped working! help!

I was on safari then i locked it . then i went back to it and pressed the unlock button and the screen flashed. Now it won't work. i have tried charging it but nothing is happenning. it won't even turn on. Surely it can not be the battery? i only got it at the end of february this year! what is wrong with it is it a virus?

My iPhone 5 just stopped working anybody help..?

I was making a call on my phone. Suddenly I lose all audio despite the phone still being connected to the call. Afterwards my phone froze for approxiately 5 minutes, before going completely dark. Now my phone won't turn on. Anybody know what to do. Even charging the phone had no effect. I have a 16 gigabyte black Verizon iPhone 5. I purchased the phone right after Christmas and began using on January 4, 2013.

Do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
You may need to do it with the phone plug into the wall outlet.

1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.

I am developing a web site using Java Servlets. The site requires to send XML as POST to an HTTPS server and get the response.
Development environment:
Laptop running Windows XP with jdk1.3.1, j2sdkee1.3 and Tomcat 4.1.
Since I need to use https request from the servlet, I am using the following code;

HttpsURLConnection connection = (HttpsURLConnection) url.openConnection();
To use the above code I downloaded the jsse1.0.3_03 package from the sun website and added the three jar files to the appropriate location. Also edited the java.security file.
The program compiles and when deployed to the web server, it works great.
Now the problem;
I need to deploy the web site in a server that is connected to the internet. This server is running Windows 2000 Server. It has the same jdk1.3.1, j2sdkee1.3 and Tomcat 4.1. Also I added the three jar files from jsse1.0.3_03. I also updated the classpath in the environment variable accordingly.
Everything is pretty much similar to the Laptop that I use to develop the site except that the OS is Windows 2000 Server.
But when I deployed the class files to the web server and tested the site, the servlet gave the following error:
"unknown protocol: https"
What could be wrong? I really need to fix this issue as soon as possible and any input from you will be highly appreciated.

I am new to BI and needs to upgrade the Kernel to revision 133 for loading basis patch 14. I downloaded the kernel and copied to the F:\usr\sap\BID\SYS\exe\uc\NTI386.
After this I was unable to restart the services.
