My computer shut off while updating my iPhone and now it is frozen...
I re-started my computer and it said it was updating but it seem to be frozen because both iTunes and my iPhone have had the same screens for like an hour. I haven't unplugged it yet because I'm not sure if I should... Can someone help me??
If it has been an hour it is stuck. Disconnect it, reboot your computer, and follow the directions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Does anyone know how to restore it?
Try a hard reset. Press the power button on top of the phone and the home button simultaneously. Hold them both for about a minute and hopefully the screen will cut off and then the apple will reappear and proceed to the setup screen.

Your iPhone is in recovery mode. Do the following to get it out of recovery mode.
Plug your iPhone into your computer with iTunes open make sure iTunes recognizes the iPhone in recovery mode.
Hold down the power button and the home button to do a hard reset and shut it off
Keep your finger on the Home button ONLY and unplug the iPhone from the cable
Release the Home button and allow the iPhone to power back on which may take a few minutes
The iPhone will return to its prior format
Hope that helps! -

I updated my iPhone and now it want come on just keeps showing connect to iTunes logo
Hey there Smurf_28,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
I would next try connecing the iPhone to the wall charger that came with it, and resetting the device:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
When the reset is done, it will still be in recovery mode, so connect it to iTunes and continue with the restore.
iOS: Unable to update or restore

Update my iphone and now the battery drains very quickly
update my iphone and now the battery drains very quickly
my battery started draining after 4 or 5 hours on iPhone 4 8GB with little or no use. It was suggested in some of the threads I consulted that it might be related to a server malfunction on an email account, and to delete the account, hard boot the phone, and re-install the account, Sure enough, this worked for me. Charged at 100% at 11pm and got up next morning at 6am at 100% ( turned the email push notifications to OFF as well ) The previous 2 days I would get up and there would be less 10% battery life. A few days before this problem started my email provider had a server issue with Outlook, I couldnt get emails to and from that account to load on my iphone, so I suspect that this was the problem; iphone and or email provider was still trying to get those emails and this was causing the drain.
