My computer talks everytime I point my mouse to a command

Hello everyone. My question today is not about editing however, it is occurring while I'm editing. I took a break to clean my keyboard (without turning the computer off) and I started pressing the buttons to clean them. After I finished cleaning everything, I tried resuming my project but everything I point my mouse at the computer speaks.
For Example:
If I point my mouse to the mac finder the computer says, "finder"
No matter where I point my mouse or what command I direct the computer to take it speaks.
Does anyone know how to turn this command off?

Actually David, I believe Neil got it right with Voice Over when you consider the OP mentioned:

Of course since the OP didn't respond, award anything or mark the question as solved then I guess we will never know for sure.

Computer crashes everytime I try to Import photos

Before I didn't have this problem, before I was able to simply go directly into my iphone when I hooked it up to my computer and simply take the pictures out, but now for some reason, everytime I try to just drag a photo out or import photos using the windows import utility, my computer crashes everytime with the BSOD, saying either "APCINDEXMISMATCH" or x....24, x.....01, Those are the errors I've received, and they all seem related to driver errors.
I assumed it was the Iphone driver that was messing up, so I reinstalled itunes and all its components, reinstalled the driver, but My computer still crashes. Fortunately this does not happen when I try to sync my iphone through Itunes, It used to before but it now just randomly stopped. Thanks for the help in advance.

Assuming you have a PC, go to an earlier restore point when you didn't have the problem.

My Apple TV 2 is slow when trying to move through different menu selections. It is like a slow computer trying to catch up to mouse clicks. It eventually remembers the buttons that were pushed on the remote, but it freezes and takes a minute to catch up.

I had something similar a couple of week ago, it would scroll then stop, scroll then stop.
At some point the porblem went away.
Try unpowering and restarting your AppleTV. Rsetart iTunes too.

I need to know how I can connect my ipod and have it upload the music on it to my new computer. I have 900+ songs on it right now and alot are from CD's that I no longer have access to. I have had this ipod for forever and I want all the music to show up on my new computer but everytime I connect it says my only options are to sync and erase everything or only transfer the music that was bought on the itunes store which isn't alot since like I said most is from CD's that I don't have anymore. Your previous purchases are saved on iCloud even if you bought them on another computer. If you can't find them on your current computer, you might need to unhide them. Go to iTunes preferences, and click on Store Preferences. Then click the box for "show iTunes in the Cloud purchases". Then click on OK, and everything you've ever bought from iTunes on that Apple ID will show up in your library. You will need to download them from iCloud first before you can synch them to your iPod Classic. To do this, click on the little cloud with the arrow in it next to your song, and it will download to your computer. When you have the music that you want downloaded, plug in your iPod and synch away. Hope this helps!

My question has to do with itunes...is it possible to restore my itunes library to the most recent backup because the restore that I did was in march and the latest backup was in may....the reason being is that there were app that i had downloaded that are in my most recent back-up, that were not in the backup I restored to. Is it possible to just restore one application ie)itunes?

Was the content purchased from iTunes? If not, it will not transfer.

Formating, it must be gone now?
When you update, delete and reinstall your profile is kept and only program-files are deleted / replaced. All your prefs , account details, mail, folders and add-ons are intact.
All that is in a hidden directory %appdata%\roaming\thunderbird\profiles\.......

In order to return your computer to factory spec you need the discs, there is no other way. You can call AppleCare and give them the serial number and they'll ship you a set of the original discs for a fee, or providing that you have at least 1gb of ram you can purchase and install 10.6. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard

Computer Crashes Everytime I Connect iPod

At first I was having problems with not being able to sync music to my iPod. I've tried everything; I restored it at least a half-dozen times in the past couple of days and have even downloaded the new version of iTunes. From that point, every time I tried to connect my iPod to attempt syncing it, it crashes and reboots. I thought the new iTunes software must have been the problem, having never experienced it with the older versions so I reinstalled the previous version and the same thing happens. Any advice?

Occaisionally the computer thinks about talking to the ipod but everytime its the BSOD.
what text and numerical codes are you getting with the BSOD? ie, 0x<thingy> CAPSANDUNDERSCORES?
if you can't remember off the top of your head ... rather than causing another BSOD to check, perhaps see if you can recognise it from this document:

Can't see pointer from mouse

I have logitech mouse wireless on my computer; it has ben working just fine until recenttly. I turned on the computer and no pointer, I've checked it out , when I do that it says that it is working properly. Still don't see it working . What else can be done to correct this issue. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. If it's a wireless mouse, it may be that the batteries need to be replaced.
I "lose" my mouse pointer all the time! You can change your settings to make target circles briefly appear around your mouse pointer when you press the CTRL button.
From the Start screen, type Control Panel to open the Search charm (just type, and the list of results will appear), and then select Control Panel from the list of results.
Click Hardware and Sound.
Under Devices and Printers, click Mouse.
On the Mouse Properties screen, click the Pointer Options tab.
Click the radio button next to Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key.

Leno G580 Pointing device (Mouse) problem

I have a Leno G580 for last one year it was working fine. Now there is a problem with pointing device, the mouse suddenly starts scrolling down automatically. I have updated drive but still same problem.Now I'm using windows 8.1 pro.
Is any solution for this???

I’m sorry to hear that the Touchpad features are not working as expected in your G580 after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and even after re-installing the Touchpad drivers. I suggest you to perform “System Restore” in the computer, this will take back the computer to Windows 8 now update all the drivers then upgrade to Windows 8.1 to get the issue resolved. Computer Starting, but no display/keyboard/mouse, but work after CMOS clear

I have an MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard, intel i5-3570K CPU, 16 GB of ram, a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 GPU, XFX PRO650W Core Edition PSU, and am using a 550 VA UPS.
My computer powers up with no posts, all CPU indicator lights are lit, and the display, mouse, and keyboard get no signal, but when I read some posts about solving this problem I cleared my CMOS with the button on the back, and when the computer powers back up signal is sent to my monitor, mouse and keyboard, but upon continuing or running setup the previous behavior continues.
Help would be appreciated!

I ain't really be able to help you. The only two things i could think of are an empty battery or a faulty board. But for that matter wait for others to answer your post.
But what you are describing sounds like what i experienced five years ago, when i set up a new system with a MSI P35 Neo3-F. I fortunatly bought board, cpu and RAM from the same vendor. Same as you i had to reset CMOS in order to do anything useful with that computer. I think i had to reset everytime i turned on the pc, but not for reboots. Althoug i'm not sure about that.
Besides that i had occasional failures in Windows which is why i did run MemTest86+ from CD. I got some faulty memory addresses in that run and thought the RAM were to blame, but in further passes of memtest i got different addresses. This i mailed to the vendor and i told him, that i'd had no means of figuring out, if the board, the cpu or the RAM was faulty. They told me to send in those three to figure it out themselfs and to give a replacement for the broken one, which turned out to be the mainboard.
After that i still got failures - can't remember what failures - and could make out that the cpu wasn't working correctly. I still believe the broken board did some damage to the cpu sometime i tried to start the PC without resetting the CMOS while maybe having random values in CMOS.
I cannot say that this is fact, but for the vendor it was reasonable enough to also replace the cpu and since then i'm quite cautious when it's about a board that might be trying with random CMOS content.
I don't want to frighten you. I just want to say don't try to much without resetting the CMOS as long as it needs to be resetted all the time.
At least til someone can ensure, that my interpretation of my experience must be wrong.

How do I wake my computer up by just moving the mouse?

I checked the settings and must not have adjusted the right one but ever since I updated to Lion instead of being able to wake my computer by moving the mouse (touching the trackpad) now I have to hit the spacebar.. Anyone know what setting I need to change to get it back the way I like it?

Sorry, I don't do Mac Rumors - and judging by the post dates, they were talking about issues with SL, not Lion (unless they were violating an NDA). I do know how to use Google.
In my case using Lion on both an iMac with mouse and magic trackpad and a Macbook with a trackpad, doing anything with the mouse or trackpad produces zero results. In checking with Apple, I was told that having to use the keyboard was the new default. So, some configurations may still allow wake-up with a mouse, but the intent appears to be for the keyboard to be the "wake-up alarm".
