My computer that my ipod was sync to crashed and i have got a new one but i can't sync my ipod without wipping it clean, how do i do it with out lossing the years worth of music
ok, i think i posted all my question in the title LOL, I had sync my ipod to my computer over 2yrs ago, my computer crashe and now i have a new one. It will not let my sync my ipod with out reseting my ipod which will delet everthing on it. The problem is all the songs i bought on itunes is backed up on icloud, but i have alot that is from cds that i know longer have and if i did a reset i would lose all that. I'm a worship leader and children's church leader so alot of these songs i need and use ever week. is there any way i can do this without losing alot?
What did you do with the SIM from the iPhone 4? You need to "activate" the phone, but it does not need to be a SIM that is connected to service. It is just what happens when you update the phone. In this case, activation does not mean to activate it on a cellular carrier, but just to activate the phone so it works. I have my mail set to retrieve data manually. When I retrieve mail, I get a popup box for each and every e-mail message asking if I want to view or cancel and must either view or cancel each one before I can use other apps on the ipad. How can I turn these popups off?

Why would you make a new account? This will likely cause many problems. Just get you old account enabled.

Since you can't delete Apple IDs and having multiple Apple IDs can cause confusion, what you may want to do is rename your existing Apple ID to the new email (desired Apple ID). That would in effect do what you want, get rid of the old and give you the new.

for some reason , when i restore my iphone 4s to factory settings my headphones work when listening to music or youtube videos but when i backup my information onto it , it only comes out of one ear bud and i just got a new one from the apple store. my old iphone 4s audio jack was messed up but i just got a new one with my warranty , can anyone help me please.
It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over. -

If it is too late for that before you do anything set up a backup process for the new one so when it crashes (note I said "when", not "if") you won't be faced with this problem again.
In lieu of that the apps already mentioned will help you get content off the phone if it was not purchased from iTunes. But it it WAS purchased from iTunes just connect the phone to your new computer, Authorize iTunes on the new computer and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes file menu. -

You should regularly transfer anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and include it in your regular backup of your computer.

Well if you don't have the laptop to get the storage drive out of it, and you don't have any previous backups how do you expect to get the photo's?
PhotoBooth is just a program, it stores the files on the computers storage drive, if the computer is lost so are your photo's.
There is nothing you can do to delete or retrieve them using your new computer unless you stored them online someplace.
DId you save them online? iDisk or something else?
I don't use such services because my data is mine and not theirs to snoop through, so if your looking for that sort of help I can't assist you any. -
the screen of my ipod cracked so will i be able to get a new one but i left my ipod in the locker and my mom is planning to go tomorrow without the ipod to the apple store but we still got the case of the ipod from the first day we cant find the receit though
1) you can get a replacement one, though you might have to pay the out of warranty price for the device (normal iPod touch 4th gen 8g = $99)
2) If you don't have the iPod itself, its is highly unlikely they'll replace it since you won't be handing the original over (since its in your locker)
