My computer using Windows 8 doesn't recognize my Canon Rebel. How do I fix this?

To connect your camera to a Windows Vista or Windows 7 computer or Windows 8 computer, you'll need to change your camera's "Communication" mode.
To set your camera up for this, please do the following:
With the camera disconnected from the computer, turn the camera on. Press the "Menu" button. Now select the [Wrench, Hammer, 2] tab. Scroll down to "Communication" and press the "Set" button.
Select the [Print/PTP] and press "Set". This process is more completely described (and illustrated too!) on page 121 of your Digital Rebel XT instruction manual.
Now connect your camera to your computer and turn the camera on. Your computer should now recognize and have access to your Digital Rebel XT.
Unfortunately, Canon software cannot communicate with the Rebel XT when operating in this mode.
You may download your pictures using Windows Photo Gallery. If you haven't already done so, you may retrieve and install this program from Microsoft's download.live.com.

You could try my script ConvertFormat and see if you like the results. Would be easier than inserting the CDs and correcting the tag info again. Just be aware this is a one-way trip. Once you've thrown away some quality to shrink the files you can't get it back without going back to the source. You may better off investing in a bigger drive.
If you just want to squeeze more on the iPod you can use the built-in iTunes option to convert files to a lower bitrate as they are added to the device.

you would have to restore device to sync with the windows machine. iPods are meant to be monagonmous with a single computer and iTunes library.
If you do restore the device, all of the data will be erased.

Whenever I try to load/import/listen to a disk, my Macbook spins it around and spits it back out. Now, in System preferences, under CD's & DVD's, I can no longer choose iTunes under "When you insert a music cd." It immediately switches to the "Ignore" choice, even though I don't click on it. I just updated iTunes and it didn't do better or worse. Dvd's work completely fine, but cd's are a struggle to do anything. Is is my computer, or the software? PLEASE HELP. NEW MUSIC FOR CHRISTMAS AND I CAN'T LISTEN TO IT.

I only tried firefox and the preinstalled browser on my phone none of them supports kurdish. Also no other program supports kurdish. Is it something that only firefox ore google have to fix or can i fix it myself. I have a little bit experience programming in java and c and also have programmed for Android, but never done anything about fonts and language packages.

Firefox on my pc supports kurdish language but on my android phone it doesn't support it fully. It doesn't recognize some letters. How can I fix this? Can I program it?

Try making separate desktop icons for the Editor and Organizer. You can then launch directly. The standard desktop icon is for the welcome screen which often runs in the background or doesn’t shut down properly.
Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select:
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13
Inside the Photoshop Elements 13 folder make sure you select the application (not a shortcut) by scrolling down to the files beginning with the letter P and highlighting ‘PhotoshopElementsEditor’
Then click next followed by finish.
You can repeat for the Organizer using the different file path.
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 13 Organizer
Highlight ‘PhotoshopElementsOrganizer’
Then click next, followed by finish.
Now that you have your separate desktop icons you can delete the one for the welcome screen, if preferred.

     My iPod touch is always recognized by my Vista Box...using the same USB cable and port my wife's nano isn't detected anymore. Since Vista can't see the nano iTunes can't see it either. When I try my wife's nano I get the message:

     I thought her nano wasn't charged enough but I've charged it for hours and this doesn't make a difference. It used to synch like my ipod touch but it stopped working about a week ago. Connect your iPod to any computer with iTunes installed, highlight your device and try syncing the apps only. If it doesn't work might have to restore through iTunes. With the new iTunes and iCloud beta, you can have the iTunes list what apps are missing on your device but if you had previously purchased in the past and then have iTunes install them. You should always get in the habit of backing up your iPhone whenever you do any firmware/OS updating/upgrading or transferring over to new device. I really really really really hope you can get back at least some of your old info. I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
