My computer will not let me click on certain things, like toolbars in different programs.
Recently my computer started acting up. It will not let me click on certain buttons as well as my URL bar in Chrome, nor things like my toolbars in some Adobe Products, but not all of them. I don't know of any changes that have been made on the computer,
so it seems to just have started from no where. If I click around enough, it will fix itself, but it takes a while. I've rebooted numerous times and reinstalled my browser - even though the issue stems across multiple programs - to no success.
Also, upon restarting my computer, my menu bar at the bottom stays hidden until I ctrl+alt+del and bring up the task manager.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

This issue doesn’t seem like a system problem.
Please change another mouse and PS2/USB port for good measure.
It’s also could be caused by the information in the CMOS getting corrupted, Check your motherboard manually for the position of the CMOS reset jumpers. Or you can unplug the power to your system and remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes.
Note: Remember to go into your bios afterwards and recheck all your settings. Don't forget to set the proper date and time there too. Otherwise you could run into some problems with windows when the date and time are behind that of the time
stamp on many of your files.

These are your options:
1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
Advantages: Always works, if library damage is causing the problem and the backup is intact.
Disadvantages: Impossible if you don't have a backup. All changes made since the backup are lost.
2. Repair or rebuild the library. Be sure to back it up first.
Advantages: May solve the problem with no loss of data.

My Computer will not let me open itunes at all. It tells me that the itunes libary can not be read because it was created by a newer version.
If you still have an issue you may have to see about using the iTunes version (application) included with Snow Leopard 10.6 from the installer or an another one if available online, and see if that will install.
Sometimes you may have uninstall the bits left in your system by the earlier (or later) iTunes installers; as they all leave a trace and these can stop a different version of iTunes from being installed.

By design the iPad will only Sync with one iTunes at a Time, so what you are experiencing is expected behavior.

There is a 3 inch section of the window that will not respond or recognize the mouse. It will not let you click on the icons or screen in any way. This is the only program we are experiencing this problem with.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Ever since the firefox did an automatic update, it will not let me select a new tab. I can't hit the plus sign or even if I click on New tab..it will Not work. If you right click on something and say open in new tab it will but it WILL NOT let me open a new blank tab to search in since the update.
Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot.
