My computer will not read Adobe Elements 10 installation discs

I am trying to install Adobe Elements on my my computer(windows) and it is not reading the installation discs. I made sure to check to make sure I have a DVD reader and I do. HELP! I do not know what to do! Thanks!

Please provide us with the following details which will help us narrow down to the cause of the problem:
What happens when you insert the disc into the drive, do you see any prompt or error message?
Are you trying to install Photoshop Elements 10, Premiere Elements 10 or the Photoshop,Premiere Elements 10 bundle?
Do you have any other DVD's handy which you can run to check that the drive is functioning fine?

Which Operating System you are using.
Exact version of Acrobat.
What were you doing when this problem start occurring.
Have you tried reinstalling the product, if not, then please try it.

Older machines have SD card slot, new machines have SDX card slot.

Mac Book Pro will not read info on CDR

I am working on a friends Mac Book Pro & her computer will not read .jpegs that have been put on a CDR. The cd shows the files when put into a Windows computer.
I have reset the pram
repaired disc permisions
Run antivirus software
Any sugestions?

No doubt the CD was burned on a Windows PC and the preferences for the software used was to write for PC only.

You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

If the CD absolutely requires that old version, then it is basically obsolete. However, it might work with the current version ... have you installed the current version of Adobe Reader, and if so what does it say when you try to use the CD?

Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. Consider buying PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the latest free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in PSE11 (keep your NEF originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)

From one of your prior threads, you appear to be working in Windows 8.1 64 bit with your Premiere Elements 12.
Where are you when you say that Premiere Elements 12 will not accept your Adobe ID - are you at the Sign In dialog step of the end of the
installation? Whatever the location, what is being rejected or not recognized specifically - can you tell if it is the Adobe ID or password?
Are you working with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?

If you still have an issue you may have to see about using the iTunes version (application) included with Snow Leopard 10.6 from the installer or an another one if available online, and see if that will install.
Sometimes you may have uninstall the bits left in your system by the earlier (or later) iTunes installers; as they all leave a trace and these can stop a different version of iTunes from being installed.
