You may try to buy elsewhere. You may come across offers of new and unopened box sets, and used ones. There is quite a number of rules concerning the legality of taking over Adobe software from others, in some cases requiring a licence transfer.

I have had this problem for close to a year. I have an Extreme base station, two Airport Express's and multiple G4 Mac's with up to date software. I know this is probably a simple question, but I just want to make sure I don't mess up my computer! I have an old school DV iMac, and bought the Mac OS X upgrade not too long after it came out (which is rather a while ago now!), but couldn't install it became I don't have enough RAM. And I obviously have just put it off and off. Now I'm at uni, and want the computer to work as well as it can for my mum, because she's even worse than me when it comes to computers. So, anyway, I need RAM. What type do I need and where can I get it from fairly cheaply? And how much would you recommend I get? My friend says he knows how to put it in, so all okay there hopefully/

Processor info: PowerPC G3
Machine speed: 400MHz
OS: 9.2.2
Built-in memory: 64MB
I remember being able to get more details than this from somewhere on the computer, but I can't remember where...I haven't used it for 6 months or something, and am obviously getting forgetful.

I just bought some RAM from Crucial.
If you go to www.crucial.com/uk and follow the Crucial Memory Advisor Tool, you should be able to find the RAM for your Mac.
1 GB sticks are pretty good value at the moment (they've even gone down a few pounds since I bought mine a week ago) and if you enter this code (found it on aonther thread here) you might get a couple of pounds knocked off the total: CUSTOMPC
There's also places like Kingston & Cancom to try, as well as Misco.co.uk. But Crucial select the recommended RAM for your Mac.
Also, when you think you've found the right RAM and want to buy it, try the Apple agent chat, and double-check with them.

If there is no iDVD on Your Mac (and it's not on newer Macs as Apple discarded it) then You need a program that can do this.
Your Mac can burn CDs and DVDs - BUT DVD as Data-DVDs not as Video-DVDs - they need a program to be encoded and STRUCTURED as such.
• iDVD is part of the boxed version of iLife'11 and can only be bought outside Apple as on Amazon and e-bay
• DVD Studio pro - Part of FinalCut Studio Pro bundle - this to has expired and can only be bought second handed. (High price and tough learning Curve - but best ever done.)
• Roxio Toast™ - Not as elegant as iDVD - but has many other positive additions (I like it as 10-Pro incl BD-component) (now version 11)
• Burn - a free alternative I know of on internet. Very simple - Just for doing a plain Video-DVD

• FinalCut Pro-X which also can burn to DVD but without any nice themes.

I would recommend wiping the system and reinstalling the OS for any used system. OS X does not have any "unlocking pin" of sorts so this may be from some third-party software on the system. The system does have a "firmware password" option that can be set to prevent booting to alternative boot environments (ie, external hard drives, safe mode, etc), but this will not prevent system updating.

My screen is cracked and my home button is stuck down. Where can I get this fixed?

I wanted to install xMII 12.0 or x MII 11.5 but I could not find the setup file for xMII anywhere.
I tried on SAP Market Place and I found link there but when I click on that link to download that, it says this links has been disabled.

Secondly, I searched for xMII or xMII 12.0 then it gives an error like...
"All corrective software packages, for SAP NetWeaver 2004s and SAP Business Suite 2005 and beyond that are delivered after April 2nd, 2007 will ONLY be available via SAP Solution Manager's Maintenance Optimizer. Find more details here."

If you have lion and iPhoto '11 (latest version is 9.2.1) you can set up and turn on iCloud there and if you have IOS 5 on your mobile then your mobile devices will sync with your Mac
