My computer will read DVDs, But when I try to burn a CD it wont load. Why?

Makes some noise, But after about 20 seconds... it comes out!

You can have apple replace the drive for you.  If you're not under warranty, it'll cost about $250.  You can also try to replace it yourself.  ifixit.com has some tutorials.  Buying the drive will still cost about $150.  Lastly, you can get an external drive.  I'm just not sure if you need an Apple drive, or if any external drive will work.
