My computer wont charge!
My iBook wont charge! The power adapter wont work but it works on my friends computer. His power adapter will also work on his computer and not on mine! Is there anything I can do to make is charge. I am in exchange student in sweden and I am not exactly sure how to get computer help here...

I had the same problem... Unfortunately you will probably have to send it into AppleCare to have them fix it, as it is not something that the people working the Genius Bar can fix.
If you have the Protection Plan it will most likely be free to fix, Apple will even send a box to you for you to ship your ibook...
If you don't have the plan, then it will probably cost around $280 plus shipping.

Computer wont charge, although when plugged in it says completly charged
i got my macbook in feburary 2007. and in november it stopped charging. there is a black x that appears on the battery. it only works when it is plugged in. while its plugged in it says that it is completley charged. i have taken out hte battery and put it back in as i was told to do, but it still has not worked. non of my friends know how to fix it either. do i need a new battery already?

Okay, so my friends music downloaded to my iPhone when i put it on his computer to charge and i re-synced it to mine and all his music is still there but blank and wont play how can i get it off of my phone, its so annoying!! My itunes only has like 4 songs because my computer crashed and lost all my songs, and I'm not trying to steal his music. But like I said its still in the music app on the phone but its all blank and wont play. I just want it off.
When he plugs it into his Mac again, he should be asked if he wishes to sync with that Mac.

If your sister's 4G iPod conect fin to the same computer then tyr the following:
- Reset the iPod.

My ipod touch 4 generation wont charger or connect to my computer but it will charge using a wall charger. The battery was dead so I plugged it in to the Computer and it charged it enough to come on and now that it is on, it wont charger or register. My sister has the same ipod as me and has no problems charging hers on our computer. Please Help me!!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My ipod 4g has been working fine for the last 2 years until now, it wont charge or connect to itunes what so ever. it will connect to the dock and play music but just wont charge on any charger, computer,cord,anything. its making me so frustrated i think it has somthing to do with the battery but im not sure because it still turns on. You have to put the iPod touch into the recovery mode.

We'll help ensure you have a working phone so don't worry, ok? I'm a little confused between your topic title and the description posted below it as to what is going on. Was your computer recognizing the phone as a CD drive before the phone completely died and now it's not recognizing it at all?
Also, I was wondering about the phone not charging in general. Is there any physical or liquid damage to it - specifically around the charging port? Have you tried other charging cords and plugs?

My ipod touch 4g wont charge when it is on. Only when i turn it off, will it charge. I cannot connect it to the computer either, via USB. This happened shortly after I tampered with an old charger, trying to get it to charge my ipod. Any one know what is wrong, and a solution?
N.B. i have had this ipod for a year, it has been in a lot of use, could this have affected my problem??Update to the newest version of iTunes if that doesn't work
Try uninstalling the drivers,
Plug in your iPod
Right click on My Computer and click on Manage
that will bring you to the Computer Management
On the left hand side click on device manager
on the right side click on the plus sign next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers
it will show a list, in that list locate iPod or USB mass storage device
right click and select uninstall
Unplug your iPod and plug it back in
Windows should automatically start installing them again
if nothing pops up then right click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers
and choose scan for hardware changes -
iphone 5 turned off 48 hours ago it wont charge and it wont turn on. i've tried the sleep/home button method that didnt work nothing came up on the screen and also tried usb into computer and doing it through itunes that still hasnt worked my phone is completely lifeless! is there anything else i can possibly do before i have to go into the shop?
