My computer wont start after I updated Itunes
I tried to update ITunes today to the latest version. Everything downloaded and installed fine but when I when I went to re-start my computer, it wouldn't load. I get the Windows XP Screen and it sits there. Nothing happens. I tried to restore my system to last known configurations. That didn't work. Same problem. I powered down and was able to get into safe mode. I tried to restore the system to a ifferent recovery point. That didn't work, same problem. I went into safe mode and tried to uninstall Itunes but it won't let me. It says that the windows installer service cannot be accessed in safe mode. That didn't seem right so I tried to reload the windows installer but I need the windows installer to install the windows installer apparently and I can't access the windows installer in safe mode. I can't get my computer to boot up in regular mode. i need help. If anyone knows how to deal with this your help would be greatly appreciated.

Any help pleaseHmmmm.... BIOS upgrade interruption has screwed up BIOS and thats the reason why your notebook doesn't start properly. BIOS is damaged now.
In such case you need professional help by authorized Toshiba service provider.
On this forum you can find many threads about similar problems. Some people have tried to fix this alone and if you are interested to read how one other forum user has fixed it check please this thread.

Computer wont start after restarting from windows 8.1
earlier to day i updated my windows 8.1 laptop.after it restart the screen say preparing windows for you, but it been like this for 3 hours. i tried turning it off and back on but still wont work. it doesnt show a error message and my brother think its
a troubleshootSometimes the migration takes very long time. It depends on the capability of your computer. Low power means long time.

Computer wont start after apple logo shows up..
I have a friend who owns a MBP 13 Late 2012, and suddenly he explains computer after he shut it down, the gray screen shows up and apple logo too, but never enter to the OS.
I have had this problem with a 2009 iMac in the past and they told me it was a problem of humidity and or dust, and so they had to change the Motherboard.
Have any one experienced this ?
I even did the PRam reset several times with no luck, actuallu It wanted to start (get into the OS) but MBP kept with little spinning circle.
Any thoughts?So I received the MBP, and did the Command R to get to recovery mode, and after the World spinning, I got this Message: www.apple.com/support and then -5010F ... (image 1)
Power it off and reboot it with OPTION key, and selected Macintosh, and after that the Apple logo shows up with the little circle spinning infinitely.

Macbook wont start after software update
I ran the software update on my white macbook and now when the computer restarts it just spins. I have tried the hardware tests and it detects no problems. The computer will not restart it just spins and the fan goes for hours. Any help is appreciated.
Hi, I have been FIGHTING w/ the Apple Tech Support Group for almost a yr now on this issue. 10 of the 20 school MacBooks have died ( spinning gear for hrs ) when I did the update from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10. I can't install the new iLife & iWork suites until we are at 10.4.10. I repaired permissions, ran Disk Warrior & Apple Disk Util from the CD before running the updates. I even tested the updates as the Admin & then as the Root user, still BIG TIME HOSE!!!!!!! I only have the standard Apple S/W & Microsoft Office 2004 on the books. The .10 update hoses the books, so I have quit running the update services on my G5 xServer, & the school is on HOLD. On the books that did hose I have had to re-install the OS & run my backups for the teachers. Apple says " we haven't heard any of these problems, so it must not be happening ". They are so very LAME........ we only spent $100,000 on Apple H/W & S/W & they won't support this issue. The school did get a new Intel Core2 Duo MacBook & I ran the update to go to 10.4.10 & it worked GREAT. This same update HOSED my personal MacBook Pro when updating from 10.4.9 to 10.4.10. My MBP is a 1st gen Intel Core Duo CPU. Have you reported this prob to the Apple GURU's yet?¿?¿ Friday I just tested the 10.4.10 to 10.4.11 update on the 1st gen CPU book & it worked w/ no probs. My next test is to run the 10.4.9 to 10.4.11 & see if it works............. one can only HOPE!!!!!!!

I had just installed the latest bios so the kinston is

High performance settings
FSB/DRAM Ratio 1:1
The only values i had for the FSB were 100, 133 & 166Mhz so i put to 166, i pressed F10 to save and then black screen.
The power was on, the monitor was on, but the hard drive shut down shuted down. So i took a look at the back to check the 4 LED's, 1,3,4 were RED and 2 was GREEN which meant the memory module was damaged, or so it said in the manual.
Apparantly ur not supposed to overclock with the onboard VGA and it even says that in the manual (i must have skipped pass that, duh)
So yoge your gonna have to take ur computer back to the shop to get it fixed sorry to say.
I cost me $35 AUD + $55 for service charge but they oly charged me $35 for the sevice fee cos i am a regular customer.
Also when i got back my computer this week, i opened up the case and do u guys know what i found, a GeForce4 440MX graphic card!!! They gave me a free graphic card!! Woohoo
Well now my computer runs fine with no problems yet and my cpu runs at 25 degrees where as before it ran at 51 degrees. -

Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

770-G45 wont start after ShutDown
Recently installed MSI 770-G45, problem starts when i regulary shutdown comp. from WinXP or Win7 64-bit.Computer wont start after that, like ther is no power, fans dont spin, no bips, NOTHING. I got to unplug power cord and plugg it again into psu, after that it starts normaly.
Strange thing is that computer starts normally when i manualy shutdown system(holding the power button on the case).There is no exception, starts perfectly evry time after manual shutdown, no need to unplugg powercord.
Rest of my components> Phenom II X2 555BE, Kingston 2GB 1333mhz, Sapphire 5770, HDD WD 250gb,PSU Corsair TX 650w.
Tried to change power cord, tried other PSU, other case (tought its maybe power button but no), changed mobo battery, installed several OS versions (XP, Win7) and still dont have solution.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!First: It is important to clear CMOS after a BIOS update. Unplug power cable before the clearing, as there can be no power in the system
Second: Rebuild the system, but outside the case. Use only PSU, motherboard, processor, one stick of memory and graphics card. If it works better then, you may have a short, from a stand-off too many, or poorly isolated wire somewhere.
But I second it sounds like a motherboard problem. You'd better contact the one who sold it to you.
Oh, an oldie thing! You will need to install Windows again, with the new motherboard and all. -
E540 After BIOS update the computer wont start

After I did an BIOS update from windows the computer wont start. Only the green FN key and the red "i" in the word ThinkPad lights up!
I can't access BIOS.
Tried tho remove the small CMOS battery for an minuteIf these long boot symptoms, following the BIOS update occur, multiple customers have reported success in resolving them by disabling Intel AMT and setting the security chip, TPM, as active in the BIOS.
Steps to disable Intel AMT and enable TPM settings as below.
Boot into BIOS
Select Config
Select Intel AMT
Press Enter key on Intel AMT Control and select Disable
Press ESC twice
Select Security
Select Security chip and select Enable
Press F10 and click Yes. -
Problem started after loading last itunes update. Uninstalled itunes from my HP but still getting error message when I start up the computer. Is there a new update on itunes?
Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?

When I synched my new iPhone with the newly downloaded iTunes, I registered my iphone and tried to "back it up" to iCloud and the message indicating that "the required file was not found or has a permissions error...." popped up.

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not synced. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are not touched with the iTunes sync process. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer which is not handled by iTunes. Most importing software includes an option to delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete. If is my understanding that some Windows import software supports importing photos from the Camera Roll, but not videos. Regardless, the import software should not delete the photos/videos from the Camera Roll unless you set the app to do so.
Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup. If you synced your iPhone with iTunes before the videos on the Camera Roll went missing and you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since they went missing, you can try restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup. Don't sync the iPhone with iTunes again and decline the prompt to update the iPhone's backup after selecting Restore.

ITunes won't play song all the way through
