My contact names will not be displayed!

Hi I live in Iran when my contacts call me Their Number with country code is displayed, But their names will not be displayed! in cheap phones,this problem does not exist! This problem is very weird! Check out this very big problem to fix before release 10.3 update Thanks Good Luck

and if I store the number without the country code and I get a call it does not show the contact name!!

Contact names will not populate

Since installing the latest iOS update on my iPhone 5, my contact names will not populate to Phone or Messages. Only the numbers are listed. All my contacts are still available in Contacts and Mail. I tried Reset All Settings as well as closing everything down in Task Manager. It hasn't helped. Since I've gathered this is a more common problem on Verizon, I should also note that I'm a Verizon customer. Anything else I can do to fix this? Thanks.

I am facing a problem, whenever I get a call contact name is not getting displayed, but if I check call history it will display the contact name. Can anyone help me with this please.?

Check this setting: go to your contacts > options > general options> make sure sort by is set up to first or last name. then check in address book options > filter and make sure you have no filters on...
If that does not help try this:
1) With the phone powered on
2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds.
3) Replace the battery cover and wait several minutes for it to reboot

Dynamic LOV query will not be displayed

we created the following record group
select ename, empno from emp order by 1
then we created a list of values depending on the record group:
We added ename to emp.mgr and empno to null in the LOV
Then we changed the emp.emg item to type CHAR and POPUP list
When we run the form nothing is displayed in the colum of MGR and only 1 record in th tabular form is displayed.

My Iphone 5 updated to IOS 6.2 and now my contact names do not show on incomming calls or text messages. All i can see is the number of the person calling. how can i fix this?? please help

I updated my iphone software to IOS 6.2 yesterday and im not sure if it is a coincidence but now, my contact names do not show on incomming calls or messages. Also they do not show on past calls or recent history.
All my contacts in my phonebook still exist and are correct, the problem only occurs when receiving calls or messages. please help i need this fixing

Try to restore your iphone via iTunes or update to ios6.1.2.
If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty

I no longer have an email address that was also my Apple ID. Can I still use the email address as my Apple ID?
Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.
Note: @mac.com and @me.com Apple IDs can not be renamed. If you no longer use the .mac or .me email address be sure to add your valid email address as an additional email address.

Contact name does not appear after upgrading to iOS 5

I recently upgraded to iOS 5 and after doing so, contact name does not appear when someone calls; but text messages the name appears. I have saved all my contacts under +9 format.

This indicates that the phone was carrier locked and had been 'hacked' to unlock it. Updating the phone has re-locked it to the original carrier.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Not all do so. Contact the carrier and find out what their policy is.
If it's locked to AT&T, you may as well sell it and buy a new phone. AT&T will not unlock iPhones for any reason.

Is Notification the only place that you are seeing this name differently? And yes, if you have the name saved as John, it should display as John. How are you backing up/syncing your contacts? Are you using a supported application on the computer, or are you using a cloud service, such as iCloud? If you go into your contacts and look in the upper left corner of the application, does it list more than one source for your contacts? Do you have more than one person with the same phone number listed in contacts, similar to having two people that work at the same place? Is the Notification only displaying a first name and no last name? Do you have first names only in your contacts?

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.

Some pictures have white squares with blue and red diagonal stripes that cover almost the complete picture.
When opening those files I have the same problem in Camera Raw dailogue and even in Photoshop eventually.
I tried to open the same same pictures on another computer with the same version of Bridge and Photoshop but the problem remains the same.
It seems like the files itselves are still ok, because if you open an explorer window the previews of the pictures are all ok. And the pictures' sizes remain the same.
I tried to clear the cache in both programs but it didn't help.
Has anyone an idea????

First see if a reboot of your PC helps. If not,
Resets may be in order:

Address Book Contact Photos will not sync over to iPhone 2G

So here is the deal. I just bought a new 21.5" iMac w/ Snow Leopard. I had a iMac G5 with Leopard previously and rather than using migration assistant, i just copied over the applicable folders and files (per my research) so that my contacts would be present on the new computer. Everything seems fine except the contact photos will not sync over to my iPhone. Has anyone run across this? Help is greatly appreciated!
