My contract is due to expire

What are my options? My two-year contract for my iphone 4S will expire in early December.

Keep the phone and the contract automatically switches to a month to month contract.
Upgrade the phone at the subsidized two year contract price and possibly change the data plan to the available options if you currently have an unlimited data plan.
Purchase a new phone at the full retail price either up front or through the Device Payment Plan.
There might be other options, but those are the first ones that come to my mind.

SharePoint 2010 Workflow: Email alert when item is due to expire

Hi Guys,
I have a library which contains a number of customer records. In this library I have a custom date column called End Date which is used to hold a date when the record is due to expire. I would like to create a solution which would send an email alert to someone
when the record is 30days away from expiring a sort of warning, and another email once the expiry date had been lapsed and the record had expired. Can you please advise how best to create this solution, I should imagine that this would be easily achieved in
designer however, I've really not got much experience with using designer 2010.
If someone could help me out with what code to use, or some useful how to's it would be much appreciated.

Subscription is due to expire unable to initiate upgrade

Getting a notice that my subscription is due to expire in the next couple of days. When I try to update and/or add account information, I continue to get a response, "We are processing your order, please check back later and if this continue to occur, contact support. However, I have not set up a subscription since my first year was free. How can I upgrade if it doesn't allow me to change and/or edit the account?

My Broadband contract is due for renewal

I currently pay BT £9.49 a month for basic option 1 broadband plus line rental of £12.79 a month, and my contract is due for renewal.
I am not interested in taking option 2 or 3, and also not interested in the TV Vision option either because I am quite happy with what I have at the moment.
Does anyone have any suggestions about what is available from BT and what I should accept, to renew for another 12-18 months.

Do not believe everything they promise you on the phone when renewing a contract!!!
I had an initial 18 month contract, 2 months before it was due to end BT contacted me asking me if i would renew the contract.
I explained to the salesperson i was looking at other ISP`s as a certain ISP as the time had just rolled out upto 24mb ADSL for the same price.
I was offered a discount of a few pounds a month which i said was not enough,I challenged them to do my BB for £15 a month and if they did i would renew the full 18 months right now.
The salesperson said he would have to ask and put me on hold. After about 3 minutes he came back and said yes, 18 month contract at £15 per month for BB. Come 2 years later i find out that BT had been charging me £19.50 per month (not the £15 i was promised)
My advice,if you agree anything on the phone regarding discounts/renewing contracts. Get them to mail you some proof or you could end up out of pocket like i was !!

I just solved this problem on my computer.
Windows 7 comes with only one "Voice" installed. "Microsoft Anna - English (United States)" I'm not sure what you get if your in another country.
You can test your "Voice/Voices" by running Microsoft Narrator. Click [Start] button and type "Narrator" in the [search programs and files] box. Press [Enter]. Your computer should begin talking. Click [Voice Settings] button to see a list of installed voices. Take note of the voices listed. "Mine has just the one."
Adobe Reader must have a voice selected that you have installed. To verify your settings Run Adobe Reader. From the top menu click [Edit] then click [Preferences] at the bottom of the list. In the Preferences window click [Reading] from the left hand list. Find "Read Out Loud Options" Un-check [Use default voice] Choose a voice from the drop down menu that you have verified is installed on your computer. Click [OK]
My Adobe Reader had 4 voices listed to choose from. I found this curious because I only have one voice.

Human task notification after due date/expiration date/...

I would like to set a due date (or expiration date) to Human task, and set some notification before this time. Ok, it seemed very easy:
- i set due date to 5 minutes in human task -> Deadlines
- i set notifications in human task -> notification and in tab Advanced i set remind once 2 minutes before due date
Nothing happens. Exactly same (nothing) happens when i do the same with expiration date.
But what exactly is meaned under word "Reminder"?
It's mail? (then where I have to set email adress? I tried to set a "to" field in human task -> notification -> tab Advanced -> notif. header attributes => nothing happened)
It's worklist inbox message?
Or what ist "reminder" and how it should remind me?

I don’t know if you’ve managed to resolve this issue yet and you mention you have emails working from BPEL, but I'm not sure if you've got any notifications working for the Human Task, if not then I have done some work with the human task notifications and although I’ve not tried to do what you’re doing, this is what I have learned.
Firstly to receive any notifications you need to configure the Messaging Driver and Workflow Notification Properties…
In Enterprise Manager expand [farm] -> SOA -> soa-infra
Right click soa-infra and choose SOA Administration -> Workflow Notification Properties
Underneath the page title (Workflow Notification Properties) is a note telling you to configure the Messaging Service Driver. Click the "Go to the Messaging Driver page" link.
In the associated drivers section you will have a single entry for soa_server1 (or what ever it's called for you). In the right hand column there is a button for configuring the driver, click this.
In the driver specific configuration, scroll down to OutgoingMailServer and enter the hostname or IP address of your mail server, then click Apply at the top of the screen.
Now go back to the Workflow Notification Properties screen and choose “Email” from the notification Mode and enter some sensible email addresses in the Notification Service section. It’s useful to have real email addresses in here at the moment because any failures will be returned to this address.
You now need to restart Weblogic for these changes to take affect.
After the restart you can test the notifications by doing the following
Back in Enterprise Manager expand [farm] -> SOA -> soa-infra
Right click soa-infra and choose Service Engines -> Human Workflow
Click on the Notification Management tab.
You can click the "Sent Test Notification" button to make sure everything is working ok. This screen also allows you to monitor notifications for failures.
Now that the notifications have been set up you can configure who gets notified on which events against your human task in JDeveloper.
The email addresses for the users are retrieved from your identify provider for the relevant user, by default this is the internal LDAP directory. I’m not using this, so I’m not sure exactly how this will work. There are options in the worklist application for individual users, but I’m not using this either.
Now that this is set up you can configure the human task within JDeveloper. On the notification tab you can decide who gets notified when. By default when a task is assigned to a user, the assignees are notified, you can play about with these settings to see what works best for you. I’m not sure I’ve solved your problem, but I hope this at least helps.

The unlocking procedure includes this reminder: "the 'Official Mexican Standard NOM-184-SCFI-2012' states that cell phones purchased after October 23, 2012—when the rule became effective—must be unlocked for free if you ask." It implies that phones purchased before October 23, 2012 cannot be unlocked.

Cisco Prime WLC mismatch due to expired guest voucher

Hi Cisco Community,
a customer of mine likes to administrate his guest vouchers via lobby ambassador accounts on Cisco Prime.
Unfortunately if one of these Guest Vouchers expires Cisco Prime shows up an Audit Mismatch because this Voucher isnt present at the Controller but still present at Cisco Prime.
I have already tried to execute the Background Task -> Guest Accounts Sync manually but this doesnt solve the issue.
I will add some Screenshots for explanation.
1. I deploy the guest voucher to our WLC´s
2. The guest voucher is visible at the controllers security configuration tab.
3. The guest voucher reaches its validity period and disapears from all the controllers.
4.Then only one controller shows up a configuration mismatch.
After executing the Background Task -> Guest Accounts Sync manually this voucher will be shown as "Expired"
But the mismatch still remain between Controller and PI
Why is this happening and why does it happen only at one of the controllers??
How am I able to fix this issue?

Since it has been a while, you might be better off opening a TAC case. If PI doesn't get the config refreshed from the WLC, thats when you get the error your showing. So maybe run the background task just on that one WLC and see if it fails or you get an error.

HT204053 erase old apple ID and place a new due to expired old email

Hi to all. I have an apple ID in my iphone5 with which I have made my Apps purchases and it is also my Apple ID in icloud.The email of this ID has expired.Buing a new ipad and probably wrongly I did set on this ipad a new appleID with a new existing email.
Under this sircumstances I cannot transfer my purchase to the new ipad or i dont know how to do it.
In any case my question is can i erase somehow my old apple id and place my new in all my devices (iphone, imac. ipad) as i went
to appleid manage and tried to enter there my new email adress but it doesnt accept it since it says that it is already used.
I am a bit confused with all these and anybody who can help get out of this complicated situation please do. It will be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately you created a new Apple ID with your new email address. Once you did that it can't be used with any other Apple ID. What you could have done was use the new email address for the old Apple ID and everything would have been fine.
I have not tested this, but another user has said that if you haven't really used the new Apple ID for anything and would be OK with abandoning it, that you can reclaim the new email address from the new Apple ID and resurrect your old Apple ID. This will only work if you are using 3rd party email addresses like [email protected]
1. Use these steps to change the new Apple ID to a fake email address just slightly different than your new email address.

G780 Windows License due to expire

You need to contact the original carrier of the iPhone you have. The carrier can help you get the unlock approved. Once approved by the carrier, you just Restore the iPhone with iTunes on computer.

ICloud won't validate due to expired email account

I have an iPhone 4s and iCloud is asking me to sign in however my old email no longer exists so I'm unable to validate my account. How do I shut down that account and validate the new iCloud account I have access to?

Go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account. Then log in using a different ID.
