My contract is not up and my phone is not working right. I went to the apple store an they said it would be $150 for a replacement iphone 4 which i have. I want the 5s would it be the original price of $200 or would it still be $150?

You can decide to use the $149 dollars instead towards a new iPhone5S .That is a completely different transaction and is not linked in any way to the iPhone 4 exchange
You may also be able to trade in your faulty iPhone  4 in the purchase process again NO LINK to the exchange process discuss with Apple Store
