My control center isn't transparent... Why??

I want to know why my controll center isn't transparent??

My Control Center is annoyingly slightly transparent. I wish it was just solid. How much transparency do you want?

I just asked the same question. It's not supported on iPhone 4. I'm annoyed by that cause that was one thing I was super excited about. I was sent this article too about what we lowlife 4 users miss out on.

Control Center isn't working

general information:
I am busy with setting up a new environment using oracle apps 10.5.10, owb 10gR2 and discoverer 10g. There a 2 databases, 1 database for the use of apps and discoverer and 1 database for the use of owb to keep the repository in.
problem:
When I want to deploy something in de control center. The control center doesn't open sometimes and give me some errors like: do you use the right port, service name and listener name and that the service cannot be started. When I now start the control manager using the start control center which I can find in my start menu (from windows) it doesn't work (I just see nothing and nothing happens)
When I start the control center using sql+ with start start_service.sql, it says available. Now I can open the control center but it doesn't deploy anything, The item that is going to be deployed keeps running, but nothing happens.
When I run the service_doctor script, then I get the following output:

Platform location has been seeded correctly
NLS messages have been loaded correctly
The platform service is available
There is a problem accessing the service startup script from the databaseserver

Service startup file 'null/owb/bin/unix/run_service.sh' is notaccessible from the database server on instance number 1
Please verify that the disk containing the file is visible to thedatabase server
Please verify that the database server account has access rights on thefile
Connection information stored within the repository is correct
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
Can anyone help me?? Because I don't know where to look anymore

IOS 7 upgrade control center won't show, why?

Just upgraded to IOS 7 on my Ipad 2. All the swiping from the bottom in the world does not bring up Control Center.
It showed up once just after I disconnected it from my PC because I thought this might be a way to reload IOS 7.
But it's not. Is there a way to reload IOS 7 without wiping everything out? If I've backed up on Itunes will this guarantee
I don't lose anything if there is a way to reload the IOS updrade?
Is there a way to reload the upgrade?

Go to settings/control center/make sure both options are turned on
You can also try this
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).
If that doesn't work then backup and then restore the device as new first (to isolate cause of the issue). Then from backup if necessary.
Make sure iTunes is updated to the latest version

The Help viewer preferences may be corrupted.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
com.apple.help.plist
com.apple.helpviewer.plist
Now try clicking Help from the menu bar.

Control Center Debug Error

A few days ago I installed the latest version of Control Center, 2.5.060, and it worked fine until today when it started putting up a debug error, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way". I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, also tried doing a system restore to about a day ago when I'm pretty sure the problem wasn't there.
This problem came up after making some changes to the IME. I updated to the latest version but ran into a transient problem where the IME driver was failing when coming out of suspend, so I tried rolling back to the previous version. That seemed to fix the problem with the driver failing but then the problem came up with Control Center. So I tried updating to the latest version again, now it seems to be working when coming out of suspend but Control Center isn't. If I click on ignore it just hangs at the loading screen and has to be manually terminated, if I click retry it just crashes.
I previously had a problem with Control Center putting up the error message about replacing the IME version. I solved that by turning off Control Center Count. Now I've tried it with and without Control Center Count running but just get the same debug error no matter what.

Mobo: MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming
RAM: 2 x 4 GB G SKILL Ripjaws DDR3-1600
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 OC

Edit: Just noticed that I'm getting the same problem with ClickBios
Also tried rolling back to the previous version of Control Center, no luck there.

Why is control center not transparent on my iPhone 4?

For some reason Control Center on my iPhone 4 is gray rather than transparent. Notification center is more black than transparent as well.

HT5957 Why dont you add CELLULAR button in the control center? Isn't it easy to acces?

I think it is a good idea to add cellular option also in the control center, which would make it easy to switch on or off the internet fast..!!!

Am I missing something here?
WIth the compose window open, choose Edit>Customize Tool Bar and drag the Address button to your tool bar.
You can also just start typing a reciepeints name in the To field and Mail will suggest addresses.

Thank you for the sugestion, but it was working fine both on the lock screen and on my home screen. I check all my settings and it is how it was from Friday, when I got the iPhone 5s. It just stop working. The only way I can fix it is by shutting down the phone. It will work for a while, then it won't.

Ios 7 control center wont work. why not?

I just installed IOS 7 and everything went smoothly. but I cant get control center to function at all. it is on in settings and when I swipe up on screen... nothing happens. anyone have any ideas why?

discovered problem. the cover of my "defender" case is the issue. I tried removeing it and it works fine. sadly the cover is incorporated into the case.

Why is ios 7 control center inaccesable with ipad case?

My iPad case is cloth and in Landscape, which is how I use it, the ios 7 control center is completely inaccessible. I have to actually bend back the cover and stick my finger down in between the iPad and the cover in order to swipe, and it still only works occasionally. Not to mention the damage to the case. Why doesn't Apple provide another option or raise the swipe point a few centimeters? It is very frustrating as I rely on quick access to the brightness control and suddenly my work is negatively effected.

None of the screen itself ifs covered. Just the black border. So there is no obstruction. But to swipe ones finger must have a sort of head start I guess. It is a ridiculous problem. There should be a shortcut or another option

AirDrop is not available on an iPad 2 or on an iPhone 4S.
To share content with AirDrop, both users need one of the following devices using iOS 7:
iPhone 5 or later
iPad (4th generation)
iPad mini
iPod touch (5th generation)

IOS 8 Control Center and Notification Center not transparent?

I updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 8 and I have noticed that my friends Control Center, Notification Center and toolbar at the bottom are partially transparent but mine Control Center and toolbar are grey and Notification Center is black. I have tried many times turn on and off "reduce transparency". Is there another way to fix this?

If you go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast>Off it should change it. I had the same problem.
