My correct contact email address is not being used...

I do not use, and do wish to use, my allocated BTInternet email address and I have my normal Gmail address set up for my BT contact. As a result I have the BTInternet address set up to permanently forward emails to the Gmail account.
Despite my contact address being set to Gmail, I keep getting mails signed by Warren Buckley which are coming via the forwarding route from BTIinternet.
The latest one heralds a problem. It is telling me that, because of a change in the T&Cs, the BTInternet account will be closed if I do not actively access it every 150 days. That is in addition to the fact that I recently had an email telling me that I must set up some new way of using the BTInternet account which, as I do not use the BTInternet account, I have no interest in doing.
If this goes ahead I will, after 150 days, not receive any information emails from BT as I will have no account for WB's minions to send them to.
I have submitted a communication about this under a "Technical help - Email or security software [Incident:130427-002xxx]" reference. However, is there anything else I could do to get this anomoly corrected and emails sent to my real contact address at Gmail?

Thank you for that. I had not seen any other postings on the topic as I was unsure where to post this and I had used the wrong forum section and one of the mods has moved it here.
The email I got never actually mentioned forwarding as a method of retention, so I hope you are correct.

No, "My Number" was not listed in my Phone menu, I had to manually type it it. Is there a way for that number to automatically be listed in that "My Number" spot? I hope you are having a great day and sorry to learn that you are having this issue.
Let's try this -
To help you better I will need to know the following; What printer do you have? Please include complete printel model.
It may help later if you let me know what (OS) Operating system you are using.

Before you try any troubleshooting steps do the following;
- Erase all cookies and browsing history.
- Do not include signatures in your email.
- Restart the computer.
I will also take the following general steps to ensure that this is not creating an issue.
- Set an Static IP address to the printer. Depending on your printer model will be the procedure to do this.
- Use Google public DNS servers which are 8.8.8.8 and alternate Server is 8.8.4.4 the way you set this is
Also this is what I heard from other members of the forum.
I heard here (other members of the community) that there is an issue that engineer are working on diligently that may be affecting this particular process. At the same time I know that other members have some success using this steps aforementioned.

I upgraded to a iphone 4s,when they transferred my info to my new phone itunes did not recognize my apple id because it is a old email adress that is not now being used.

IF - you changed your ID - go to Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out, sign in the the correct account. Apps that you purchased with the old ID have to be updated with that ID and are always tied to that old ID.

1) Visit My Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/.
2) Click the Manage your account link on the right sideof the page.
3) Enter the account name (Apple ID) and the password you used when creating the account.
4) Change the email address associated with your account.
5) Send new verification email

eprintcenter.com is riddled with problems.
Bought new HP printer, go to eprintcenter.com
Can't go any farther.
Enter information to Create Account.
Enter my name , email address and password.
Says incorrect password.
I click , forgot password.
It asks for my email address.
It prompts to enter email address for my account, this is my account ?
So I go to sign in using the email address.
It says my email address is already being used, ...by who ?
Who created this process ?

You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password. They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary. The call should be free.

My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...

This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

There is no cache where the emails would be stored on the iPad, but you could try quitting the mail app and then launch it again and see if the emails return.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Tap the home button. Then try mail again.

My iPhone contacts are only showing email address and not telephone number

I have an iPhone 4S running OS6. For some reason of late my contacts are only displaying the email address and not the telephone number.
I have repowered the phone a number of times but the issue still persists.
Can any one tell me how to fix this ???

Try the following:
1. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive
2. Check where the Start New Conversation From is set to. If it's not your number, select your number.
If the above doesn't work...
1. In Settings > Messages, tap on iMessage to turn it off.
2. Reboot phone and after the phone restarts turn iMessage back on.

I found it in the Settings / Phone / Show My Caller ID - this is switched on - however I don't know if it will display my phone number or email address.

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues changing your Apple ID. It is correct that if an email address has been used previously for an Apple ID, it can not be used for a different Apple ID, as noted in this article:
In most cases, your Apple ID is also the primary email address of your Apple ID account. You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it's not already in use as an Apple ID. If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com, it's already an Apple ID.
