My cover flow does not work on my 3rd gen 64 gb ipod touch

My cover flow does not work on my 3rd gen 64 gb ipod touch and neither does shake to shuffle.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Where it says place the iPod in recovery mode use this program vice the iPod's buttons
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

AirPring requires a 3G or later iPod. Are you sure you have a 3G iPod? A 2G iPod can only go to iOS 4.2.1 and that is what you say you have. If yours is an 8 or 16 GB one it is a 2G. A 32 GB can be either. See:

Standard shortcut for "flow" does not work anymore

Hi there :-)
The standard shortcut for setting the flow of a brush or stamp does not work anymore. When using shift + 0-9 nothing happens. It works correctly for the opacity when I use 0-9.
When I turn on the airbrush-mode it's not switching the commands entirely... Flow is still not settable with 0-9 but opacity cannot be set either by shift + 0-9.
I can access the opacity by hitting "enter" and then use the tab to switch to the flow but that's not what I wanna do.
Can anyone help my to find out what happened to These commands? The Shift-keys work fine btw... I'm using them for other commands (in and outside of PS) .
If anyone knows how to change these standard hotkeys let me know as well.

Cover Flow View - NOT working

Hello,
I have a problem with the cover flow view on iTunes. I don't know when this when happened but it was there before I updated to iTunes 10.
This is how it looks:

It's only under Music, if I go to any of my playlist cover flow is working.
So, does anyone know what is going on and how can I make the cover flow work again?

For me this worked:
1) I exported my Library: File -> Library -> Export Library
Saved the .xml file on my desktop.
2) Closed iTunes.
3) I went to /Users/your user/Music/iTunes and deleted the following files:
iTunes Library
iTunes Library Extras.itdb
iTunes Library Genius.itdb
iTunes Music Library.xml
4) Reopened iTunes.
File -> Library -> Import Playlist -> Navigated to my desktop and selected the .xml file from step 1.
5) Waited few minutes (Depends on the library size, I guess. Mine is huge.)

Cover flow option not working on my computer.

i downloaded & installed the new itunes 7.1 but it's telling me that it can not use the cover flow option with my computer. i click that option and instead of the album artwork i get "itunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer." is there anyway to make it so that it will work? i have windows xp.

Cover Flow does not update in full-screen mode

Following an upgrade to iTunes 10.5 (141) and Lion (10.7.2) - I've noticed that Cover Flow no longer updates to the current song in full-screen mode. It will return to, and remain frozen at the first song of the playlist until manually updated or I revert to non-full-screen mode.

I assume you are using a desktop shortcut to start Lightroom. Look at the properties for that shortcut. There should be an option to set it to "maximize".

Cover Flow only shows a distorted "box" instead of the song info and the scroll bar. Why is this?

After updates to Windows, the tablet does not recognize the touch screen.
I tried all the recommendations of the forum but to no avail !! it is impossible that HP does not have a solution to the problem? I see that others have similar problems, so it is a manufacturing defect? Amazon also because I would replace the product with another Omni 10 but if this has the same problem, I take the money and make change. thanks

Quite possibly. It wouldn't hurt to try another one if at all possible. If you have to, borrow one from a friend. It could also be due to debris in the docking port of your iPod. Take a look on the inside of the port and make sure there is no lint or anything like that. Also look for broken pins as they would definitely cause connection issues as well.

Copy and paste not working in Mail app on my iPod Touch 32GB

I have an iPod Touch and cannot copy or paste anything in the Mail application. I have no problem copying or pasting in other applications. Unfortunately, being able to copy and paste into/from Mail is probably one of the most important things that I need to do on my Touch.
I don't know if this means anything, but I do notice that the tiny progress indicator, just to the right of the WiFi indicator on the top left of the screen, never stops spinning when I'm in Mail.
I have a 32GB 3rd-generation Touch which is not jail broken, if that even makes sense for a non-iPhone (I've seen this problem mentioned regarding jail broken iPhones).
By the way, I can SELECT text (or position the cursor) with the magnifying glass, no probem. It just never pops up the copy/paste bubble thingy.
Thank you for any advice. This is a real bummer in what otherwise has been a downright ethereal experience with my new Touch.
(I don't know what ethereal means either, but you get my drift.)

Genius I'm certainly not but I'm glad it worked.
FYI, a Reset is a common troubleshooting step for may iPod/iPhone software issues. I generally Reset my iPhone once/week or so, whether I think it needs it or not.

Notes are not working properly after 3.0 update, iPod touch

Since the update, my Notes have not worked properly. I had 3 active notes. Two, I've tried to close and can't. One, I can't access. I also can't save a new note, it kicks me out to the home screen if I try to. I also get kicked back to the home screen when I try to access my third active note. Anyone else experience this?

First connect your your device with iTunes.
You can try to delete your backup data for you iPhone/iPod touch. The backups are placed in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/.
If you can identify the last backup it worded with notes you can delete all your later backup. Then it should work again.
Or you can find the backup data for notes in the *.mdinfo and *.mddata file. The application identifier should be something like com.apple.notes. Just search for that string in each *.mdinfo file. Than delete these files.
In iTunes right-click (or Control-click) the device, and choose Restore from Backup. Then everything should work fine again.
