My cpu has higher utilization

hi, my pc has slow down and i looked the running process. The oracle.exe has approximately %50 - 55 cpu utilization. Why this is higher? How can i decrease the cpu utilization of oracle.exe? Sometimes, this causes incresing of cpu temperature. Sometimes 65-70 degree. How can i solve this problem. thanx
( iam using pl sql developer, but cpu utilization isnt decreased whether i open plsql developer or not. )

)You can investigate what Oracle is using the CPU for with Database Control using the performance tab and the top sessions link. A CPU that gets to 65-70 degrees suggests that you have a cooling problem in the machine.

  • WLC 7.0.98.0 CPU high utilization

    I could not find anything wrong with the show tech on WLC. Client complaints CPU high utilization. Please help!

    Hi Andrew,
    There are a couple of interesting things in the debug output you included, firstly there are some unsupported rates by the clients, in other words do you have some 802.11b clients trying to connect? Because I think you may have unsupported the 'b' rates on the controller. So either - ensure you have no 'b' clients or start supporting 'b' rates again (1, 2, 5.5, 11)
    Secondly there some rogue AP containment going on, this can cause either your AP to have a high CPU, f there are multiple rogue APs being contained, or it may be that your own clients are being de-authenticated by another wireless network in the area - in other words, your network is under attack.
    HTH
    Best wishes

  • ITunes 10.6 has High CPU Usage when switched to Mini Player

    iTunes has high CPU usage when switched to mini player. The CPU usage goes to 80-100% when the next song is played in Mini Player. iTunes then stays at high CPU usage.
    Upon exiting mini player the CPU usage will drop back to the normal 0-5% levels.
    This only happens when playing from the main music library; which my library is at 7089 items, 42.04 GB.
    When playing from a smaller playlist such as a smart playlist with about 15 songs in it for example, the CPU usage stays low/normal.

    Do you have any better luck with that if you update to iTunes 10.6.1.7?
    From the notes for the release:
    iTunes 10.6.1 provides a number of improvements, including:
    • Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view and syncing photos to devices.
    • Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.
    • Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.
    • Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.

    =====================
    as we see above , we have high "IP Input" about differnece in cpu =67-54=13 % , which is high value process in software .
    i follwed the article here :
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/7500-series-routers/41160-highcpu-ip-input.html
    i check and found that my router is fine ,
    no arp calls.
    no routing loops.
    no flapping links.
    i checked that my router has cef enabled and no enormous routing protocol updates
    i found that i have big differnce between hardware & software process on the router which is 13 %
    but when the traffic is more and more , the cpu reach reach 93 % and begin to have drops.
    i just want to ask , how can i debug the operations that are done on the cpu processor of the router ???
    i mean that if i know that traffic , i can estimate and know the problem  that increasing my cpu !!!
    another question :
    how to debug the packest that has a ttl exceeded 50 or ttl exceeded 100 ?????
    i dont wan tto make debug ip packed , because i have a huge traffic and it will let my router hanged due to large debug !!

    righ now i will post my router config and some verification:

  • How do I know if my CPU has decreased speed or what speed my cpu is running?

    I recently noticed that when running PRO app my MBP seems pretty slow unusually. I have met this occasion before . I heard that when temperture is too high , the CPU will decrease its speed to protect itself.  How do I know if my CPU has decreased speed or what speed my cpu is running?
    Thank you!
    MBP 8,2  10.6.8

    Enter in the search field of Google 'CPU speed monitors' and you should get some results.
    Ciao.

  • Rundll32 cpu usage high

    Hi.
    Ive just upgraded my win 8.1 to win 10 technical preview. The first thing that bugged me was the process rundll32. It has high cpu usage (40-50% of my cpu). It didnt have that on win 8.1, and i havent done anything other than upgraded to win 10. Anyone else
    having trouble with this?

    Until you have RTM you can be surprized...
    To dig deeper try to use Sysinternals tools, namely Process Explorer is you primary tool (hope is will work in W10):

  • Effects of High Utilization

    I had a lot of bills this tax month and I am going to carry a balance for the first time ever.  It's on a 0% APR card which is the only reason I'm carring a balance.  Keeping the cash I could pay it off in a 3.25% APY account. My utilization was always 4-8% each month.  For this month my statements cut and I had 35% utilization.  The following happened to my scores FICO TU reported by Barclay 696 dropped to a 674FAKO TU by Credit Karma 684 droped to a 635 I'm going to pay all my cards off at the end of this billing cycle except for my 0 APR card.  I will pay that off the following month.  I'll repost my scores as they change.

    degs138 wrote:
    So here is where I am at.  I was at 35% utilization in May with one card at 85% utilization.  My score dropped to 651 at the worst.  FICO score reported by Barclays.  I paid off my cards in June so I was reporting a 16% utilization.  My score went up to 699.  Next month I will end up paying off my balances and get my utilization down to under 10%.  hoping to be back in the 700s.  I'll update the thread when I get my next score update. I couldn't believe I went form 709 to 651 with high utilization on one card.  That is a drop of 58 points for using close to the limit on one card.I see that you have two Cap 1 cards. Take a look at their balance transfer offers. I also have a Venture and QS. Each one provides me with no fee balance transfers. Depending on when your statements close, it might be beneficial for you to transfer the balance onto one of them if there is no fee. That could movet the balance early and increase your scores when the other card reports zero. Then pay the Cap 1 down before it reports the higher balance. I have my statement closing dates spread out. This has helped me when I wanted to float something for a month. Didn't have to pay intrerest or see a score decrease.

  • My Profile - Fico 8 - High Utilization

    I have decided to post my profile and will update as changes are made. I have what I would call a very stable profile.  My oldest card, depending on which bureau, ranges from 28.8 to 35.2 years.  My average age ranges from 15.8 to 17.9 years.  My two newest cards just turned 8 years on July 1st.  The only inquiry I have will be 2 years old on July 26th for a phone service. On 2/25/15, I started to be more aware of account balances and did not let a single one increase since then.  In the past, I have had balances go up or down but never increased my total utilization.    I have one $30 paid medical collection from Oct 2012 and one 30 day late payment  which will be 5 yrs on Aug 1st.  EX and EQ have both of these shown and TU has neither.  My accounts are as follows: 2/25/15                       6/9 cards w/balances             44% utilizationBoA                              95% utilChase Freedom        62%Chase Slate               37%USAA                          93%Universal                    24%Kohls                           $50.00 Scores:  EQ 724       TU 734        EX  728  2/26/15Paid USAA down to 93%  Scores:  EQ  731       TU  734      EX   731   From 2/26/15 to 5/26/15 there were no score changes.  During that time I paid the $50 balance on Kohls so had 5/9 cards reporting and brought USAA down to 89%. The Chase Freedom also went below 60%  5/26/15                   5/9 cards reporting                  41% utilizationBrought BoA down to 89% utilization. Scores:    EQ  735    TU  744       EX 734 Sometime between 5/26/15 and 6/14/15, my EX went up to 738 with no alert triggered. From 6/23/15 to 6/26/15, my EX score went up and down each down from 738 to 742 then back down and back up.  It finally settled at 742 on 6/28. I pulled the 3B on CCT on 7/3/15 and scores were as follows: Scores:    EQ  735    TU 744     EX 745 My EX increased 3 points on 7/1/15 which is when my average age went to 18 yrs. EX increased 1 point on 7/12/15 which is when my two newest cards turned 8 yrs. Current Scores:  EQ 735   TU 744   EX  746 Of interest is the fact that EX is 2 points higher than TU and TU doesn't have the late payment or collection.  To me, this shows that the high utilization is a bigger factor than the late payment and collection. I have paid USAA down to 78% and will be running a 3B on CCT as soon as it reports, which should be in the next few days. I have also paid BoA down to 79% and will run a 3B when that reports, which should be around the 26th. I also have a heloc at 32% and a mortage at 78%.  No installment loans. I will have to check my total and individual utilization to see where it's at on all of the cards. Hope this all makes sense.  Will update as changes occur.  I am not looking for any advice as I have a solid plan on paying off my cards and many of these are at  0%or low rates.  Only one is a higher rate and I will get back to paying that at an accelerated rate now that the two high utilization cards are below 80%.

Your AAoA is impressive. You may want to pay off low balance cards to get the # of cards reporting a blance down to three from five. The % of cards reporting can be a significant factor on scoring.  The primary factor keeping your score down appears to be aggregate utilization percentage.  A couple thresholds I have wondered about are 35% and 20%. You are approaching the 35% mark. Utilization on individual cards - at least up to 80% - has not been shown to impact Fico 8 score. It would be interesting to try and isolate impact on score associated with each of the following if your pay down schedule allows:1) Any step change in score as aggregate utilization drops2) Any step change in score associated with reducing % or # of cards reporting a balance

  • IMac has high temperatures at all times

    My iMac has high temperatures at all times lately. I realized this after it began randomly freezing, and so I installed iStat Pro and saw the temperatures seemed higher than usual.
    Here they are (all temperatures are in Celsius degrees):
    HD: 53
    CPU: 52
    Ambient: 30
    GPU Diode: 71
    GPU Heatsink: 66
    Mem Controller: 60
    Optical Drive: 52
    Power supply 2: 75
    Fan speeds:
    Optical drive: 1110 rpm
    Hard drive: 1100 rpm
    CPU fan: 1421 rpm
    I imagine these are quite a bit on the high side? These are also pretty constant, meaning even when I've just got iTunes and Firefox open (as I do now), these are the values that I get.
    Anything I can do about this? I assume that AppleCare wouldn't do much about this unless something dies inside my computer, such as the fans failing or something?

    I think the HD and CPU temps are running a TAD high, IMO.
    The iMac's fans don't ramp up fast enough to keep both the HD and CPU cool enough.
    I like to see both the HD and CPU temps below 50 degrees C during semi-normal operations.
    I think iMac's run too warm/hot causing a " slow roasting" of various internal components over not so long a time.
    If you are worried like I do, you can install an iMac fan control app called SMC Fan Control.
    This little app will allow you ramp up the iMac's minimum fan speeds to a faster rpm than what Apple has set the default minimum rpm speed to be.
    You want to use and set the fan speed conservatively to prevent premature burn up of the fan motors and to minimize sucking in additional dust, dirt and lint into your iMac.
    When using this app create a new default user setting and set the fans rpm speeds to between 200-600 rpm higher/faster than the Apple default speeds. My recommendation is not to run the fans over 2000 rpm.
    If both the HD and CPU still run at a higher temp., you can try a slightly higher settings for these between 1600 to 1800 rpm.
    These settings keep the iMac and the fans relatively quiet, minimizing the amount of extra dust, dirt and lint into your iMac and allow these components to run at a more acceptable or tolerable temperature.
    Another thing that can help with the heat buildup.
    As old as your iMac is, have you cleaned out the dust? Dust buildup can lead to over heating issues. Remove any and all things plugged into it including the power cord, Remove the RAM access grille. Vacuum all openings starting with the RAM access area (air intake). Vacuum all ports and plugs, DVD slot and the opening across the top of the rear of the body. Plug in the keyboard and mouse if not blue tooth. Insert power cord...
    Also, it wouldn't hurt to run a small fan behind the iMac blowing on the back panel of the iMac.
    I do this, as well.
    Good luck!

  • How to find CPU and Memory Utilization

    Hi,
    How to find CPU and Memory Utilization of my application which is
    running in solaris workstation.My application has a management console in which we need to update the cpu and memory periodically.
    (Notr : Usage of JNI is restrcited)
    Thnx and Rgds,
    Mohan

    There is no CPU usage API in Java. You need some JNI code. For memory usage see the Runtime methods:
         * Get information of memory usage: max, total, free and (available/used).
         * <ul>
         * <li>Max is the maximum amount of bytes the application can allocate (see also java options -Xmx). This value is fixed.
         * If the application tries to allocate more memory than Max, an OutOfMemoryError is thrown.
         * <li>Total is the amount of bytes currently allocated from the JVM for the application.
         * This value just increases (and doesn't decrease) up to the value of Max depending on the applications memory
         * requirements.
         * <li>Free is the amount of memory that once was occupied by the application but is given back to the JVM. This value
         * varies between 0 and Total.
         * <li>The used amount of memory is the memory currently allocated by the application. This value is always less or equal
         * to Total.
         * <li>The available amount of memory is the maximum number of bytes that can be allocated by the application (Max - used).
         * </ul>
         * In brief: used <= total <= max
         * <p>
         * The JVM can allocate up to 64MB (be default) system memory for the application. If more is required, the JVM has to be started with the Xmx option
         * (e.g. "java -Xmx128m" for 128 MB). The amount of currently allocated system memory is Total. As the JVM can't give back unallocated memory
         * to the operating system, Total can just increase (up to Max).
         * @return Memory info.
        static public String getMemoryInfo() {
            StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
            sb.append("Used: ");
            sb.append(toMemoryFormat(getUsedMemory()));
            sb.append(", Available: ");
            sb.append(toMemoryFormat(getAvailableMemory()));
            sb.append(" (Max: ");
            sb.append(toMemoryFormat(Runtime.getRuntime().maxMemory()));
            sb.append(", Total: ");
            sb.append(toMemoryFormat(Runtime.getRuntime().totalMemory()));
            sb.append(", Free: ");
            sb.append(toMemoryFormat(Runtime.getRuntime().freeMemory()));
            sb.append(")");
            return sb.toString();
        }//getMemoryInfo()

  • I feel 8.02 is less responsive and has higher latency!

    After installing 8.02 and 10.5.3, Logic feels less snappy, has higher latency and has graphical glicthes when a big project is loaded.
    Also, when recording in loop mode and when the playback cursor goes back to the beginning of the loop, the recorded notes are all messed up (like Ableton Live)
    Also, when dragging a selection in the arranger, the (dragged) selection jumps all the way up or down? (bug?)
    8.02 has various other tiny glitches.
    Also, the Sculpture synth uses way more CPU since the update!
    Good thing: projects load up extremely fast
    I have no problems with the Overload Message but then again, I never saw them, ever in 8.0 or 8.01
    I did a repair permission before and after each update (update OSX, Logic and Apogee Duet) and flashed the PRAM after all the updates.
    I do not use third party plugins.
    What am I doing wrong? Because I read all good things about the new Apple updates. However, I am not experiencing them, except for the faster loading times

    I have the same latency problem since updating, and only in Logic (not Cubase). I reduced the midi latency when I uncheck, "Universal Track Mode," which is supposed to remain checked, in Audio pref., and turning off any sends on that track while recording.
    Now there's a whole new problem of rerouting outputs to high number Double busses (bus 29-30) that never existed before when I reopen a project or start a new one from a template.

  • HU03 going to short dump for handling unit which has higher level handling

    Hi,
    I am ABAPer, i working on issue, HU03 is gong to short dump. i dubug the t code and find out that particular handling unit has higher level handling unit. I checked another handling unit which won't had higher level handling unit, that time it's not giving dump.
    Note: in HU03 T CODE, function module V51P_HU_CONTENS is fetching values. when ever handling unit has higher level handling unit, it's not fetching further values.
    venkey

    Hi,
    Goto NACE transaction code , there you select the application area then  it will give you the list  of output types then select specific output click processing routines then you will see the program name and  script used.
    Or esle goto SPRO tcode then you can find the functional tab there also you can get the details.
    Thanks,
    Aditya

    there just have ONLY ONE CORE %sys 100
    the top command show average of all cpu core sys% usage
    when the one core sys% is 100%
    the system are very slow .
    e.g: when I create a database instance used for a long time . over 2 hours
    but generally it will be done at most 1 hours or shorteris any type of OS virtualization involved in this environment?

  • SNMP OID for CPU and Memory Utilization on a MDS 9509

    Does anyone know what the OIDs are for CPU and Memory utilization on a MDS 9509?
    Thanks

    CISCO-SYSTEM-EXT-MIB.my is a good place to start and you can determine the OID from the MIB.
    Once you feel as though you are on the right track, have a look at:
    http://www.oidview.com/mibs/9/CISCO-SYSTEM-EXT-MIB.html
    I gather that what you need is:
    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.305.1.1.1
    and
    1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.305.1.1.2
    Enjoy.
