My Creative Cloud free trial apps don't open. Any advice?

I have 15 days left in the free trial and my Illustrator and Photoshop programs no longer open. I've signed out and signed back into Creative Cloud and Adobe and restarted my PC. How else can I troubleshoot this?
Thanks!

You might start up Task manager and look at the Processes tab and see if you see the programs listed, there.  If they are stuck trying to launch, that stuck one will prevent further launches from happening.  Use End Task on any processes with the name of the program you’re trying to start—like Photoshop.exe and see if you can start things after that.   If you’re not sure how to use Task Manager, then just reboot your computer—that will end any processes that are stuck.

  • Got an email stating :We've reset our Creative Cloud free trial versions." how do I get it?

I received an email stating We’ve reset our Creative Cloud free trial versions.
We’re notifying all Adobe Creative Cloud members that we’ve reset the clock on our product trials, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. So even if you’ve previously tried these products, you can try them again to test-drive more than 20 new features.
Just launch the Creative Cloud desktop app and click “Update” next to the app you want to try.
but when I go to get the free trial again the free trial botton is grayed out and when I try the download free try thru the In Design link it says In Design is up to date. How do I get this free trial.?

  • Cancelling Creative Cloud Free Trial

    Hi all,
I downloaded the Creative Cloud free trial a while back, but the project I was using it for is done now. I was wondering: do you automatically enter into a contract for CC once the 30 day period is up? If so, could somebody please tell me how to cancel? I can't find out how to do so. I am definitely still on the free trial right now as my account is displaying "creative cloud free membership" under "plans and products." However, I am not sure how long ago I begun the trial, and if continuing it past 30 days will enter me into a contractual obligation I need to know how to cancel it. Could somebody please point me in the right direction?

You will not be automatically entered into a contractual obligation.  When the trial ends, you will not be able to use it further unless you pay for a subscription.  As far as uninstalling goes, see the following:  Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps

  • Cancel creative cloud free trial

    cancel creative cloud free trial

Trial CC will stop working on its own after 30 days, there is no need to cancel it. If you are not purchasing it then you can also get the trial CC app uninstalled. The Adobe Id remain, you can use that for future purchase or trial of any other product of Adobe.

  • Creative Cloud Free Trial Reset

    Hi,
I received email from Adobe which states that Adobe has reset the clock on product trials, including InDesign, and if I've previously tried them, I could do so again.  The email stated that all I had to do was go to my Creative Cloud desktop application and click "Update" next to the app I want to try.
When i went to the Creative Cloud app, there is no "update" button and when I try to use my trial copy of InDesign, it says that the trial is expired.
I love the product and have owned and used it since version CS2.  Can anyone shed light on why I can't take advantage of the extended trial period of the InDesign CC version?
    Please advise.
    Thanks..

I spent 45min on support chat with adobe and they have 0 help for you....
I was told to ask the forum sections... here is the real kicker, the app trial works fine on my PC. My MacBook is the one saying trial has ended.
They also dropped this one "we never reactivated trials".................  OMG why did I get an email saying you did....
    Disappointed in the whole thing
EDIT: also tried the method suggested above no luck, same issues... I am sure its on my account not my machine but oh well... I see how the customer service works here,

  • Creative Cloud Free Trial Expired After 5 days

This is so annoying   My mac just crashed and when I switched it off and on again, it had changed the date to 2001. This caused Creative Cloud to pop up saying my trial had expired. It doesn't matter what I do, log in and out, computer off then on, It keeps saying it is expired! How can I reverse this?

if the trial is being detected as previously utilized then you will want to evaluate InDesign on a different computer or utilize an active membership.  There is no way to reset the trial process.  You can find additional details at Adobe trial software expired early

  • Upgraded to paid CC but IOS apps still say "Creative Cloud Free"

I had the Creative Cloud app (amongst other Adode apps that are linked to my CC account) installed on my iPad before I paid the CC subscription. I then downloaded Lightroom after I paid, but the app says Trial Version. The Creative Cloud app says I have "Creative Cloud Free" only under Settings. I have tried logging out, logging back in, shutting the iPad down, reopening, uninstalling the app, reinstalling, turning around, touching the ground, burying the iPad under a full moon, but still I'm listed as Free. I have no issues downloading desktop apps, and when I log in on desktop my account says I have a paid subscription. Any ideas? Thanks

    Hi Gec78,
I have verified everything and it seems everything is clear from our side.
Can you please try the steps below:
    Delete the OPM.db File:
    Close the Creative Cloud application.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    Delete the opm.db file.
    Launch Creative Cloud.
if the issue still occurs please try the second solution below:
    Check your Hosts file:

  • The creative cloud free space is for lifetim, the 2GB, or for one month trial

the creative cloud free space is for lifetim, the 2GB, or for one month trial???

Just sign in with your Adobe ID at the Creative Cloud Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files. You can then use the upload button to upload files, or drag-and-drop files from the Windows Explorer/Mac Finder. Here is a video explaining the file upload http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-creative-cloud/uploading-files-to-creative-cloud/.
If you use one of the Adobe Touch Apps (Ideas, Photoshop Touch, Proto) then the files you sync with these apps are also stored in the same file storage, and are accessible from the Files page.

It is the same installer. You can run it as 30-days trial (CC version) and decide later for CC or stand-alone. To license as stand-alone, follow this guide.
If you already have the LR6 license key, you can enter it during setup and do not need to follow the guide.

Okay, I loaded the trial of Photoshop, have Creative Cloud loaded, downloaded Photoshop, trying to open Photoshop, but cannot, do I open it from the Creative Cloud App Screen?

It's not launched from the CC app.
If you have Windows, look under Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CC
If you have a Mac, look in the Application Folder > Photoshop CC

  • How can I remove a Creative Cloud Free membership from my account?

Thanks in advance for any help.
I have Creative Suite 6 installed.
I started to use CC and decided I didn't want it anymore, so I let the account lapse this month.
The computer automatically switched now to a Creative Cloud Free membership, but how can I remove this?
Now when I launch Acrobat, for example, it asks me to renew my subscription. Well, I don't want to!

  • Pay $49 a month plus tax and my account said I have Creative Cloud Free?

I see this hit my credit card every month. I'm still using the older versions I downloaded when I first signed up. When I try to get the new ones they always come on as a trial. I thought paying over $50 a month would mean I always had the newest?
When I log in to my account online, it says I only have Creative Cloud Free. That can't be right since they are charging me every month.
And their support so far sucks. I hope I can get this resolved.

first, sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app using the same adobe id tied to your billings, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
then open your cc desktop to apps and see if those trial offers are no longer trials.
if they're still trials, contact adobe support by clicking this link and then clicking 'still need help' as soon as it appears, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
