Try resetting the password. You shouldn't have to re-install just because of a password.

I getting the message "This item is temporarily unavailable" when i try to play certain songs. I know the songs are there...I just recently listened to them! I'm using ITunes on a new Macbook pro I just purchased. The songs that DO lay have "clouds" next to them, just like the ones that won't play. Any ideas? Its frustrating not to be able to play the songs I have legally purchased from ITunes.

HT1918 I have a credit in Itunes but can't purchase. Why?

I have a credit in my itunes account but I can't purchase. Buy is not coming up as an option. And I would like to buy a few tunes today.

Is it in the "Ringtones" category under "Library".
Does it show under "Ringtones" tab in itunes when you are selecting sync options?

When i browse on my ipad2, itunes only shows 100 files. Why?

Im sure there are more than just 100 books for sale or 100 albums ect...But whenever I go to the itunes store and look at audiobooks for example theres only 100 to choose from. Where are the thousands of others???

If your iPad were functioning, you could check by going to Settings > iCloud and looking just below the "Storage & Backup" row. I don't believe there is a way to check without your iPad functioning.
If you're not sure whether you have a backup, it is very likely you do not. You would have had to set one up, and make sure that your iPad were connected to WiFi and plugged in regularly to achieve a backup (e.g., overnight).
Oh well, I'm sure you won't go without backups next time.

The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Support is a joke

Tried to purchase 12 items and received the above message. When I go to my account it has 12 items waiting to download. Try to download and get same error message. Added another item to my cart and was able to download it with no problem but can't download the 12 in pending. E-mailed Apple and received the following response:
"I understand you are attempting to purchase content and I'm sorry to hear that you can't connect to the iTunes Store.
I have verified that the iTunes Store is functioning and accepting connections, which indicates that the issue is related to your internet connection, local network, or your local computer itself. This article outlines some of the likely culprits:"
Replied to the note that it was not a problem with my connection, local network or computer since I was able to download another song, was only having problems with the 12 in the pending queue.
Has anyone received a reply from Apple that worked for this issue?
I will let you know what they reply next.

Over a week and the iTunes store is still "temporarily unavailable".
Well, here's this morning's unhelpful email from iTunes "support" - inane.
"Hello,
I'm sorry to hear that you and many others are having the same problem.
For the status on where we are with the issue; all I know is that the
issue is known, and that we are working harder than ever to try and
resolve the issue. Unfortunately, some customers feel that we are not
working fast enough. Let me reassure you that it is not a matter of how
fast or slow we are working on it, but how many curve balls are thrown.
Like many good programs; there is bound to be ,at some point or another,
one big issue that may take a while to fix. Once I know more on the
situation, I will inform you are soon as I have more details.

Webiste shows Temp. Unavailable on my Mac but I can access the same webiste on my iPhone

I am trying to access a website that I have accessed many times before. Now it shows "site temporarily unavailable" . I am able to access this site from work as wellas from my iphone. Not sure what changed. Can anyone help me with this?

Using Safari ??
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now empty the Safari cache.
Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit then relaunch Safari then try that website.
If that didn't help either, since you can access the site on our iPhone, restart your router.

I have Installed Apex 3.1 on Win2000 Server,Oracle 10gDB & for Oracle HTTP Server from Oracle database 10g products Companian Rel 2,
Installtion was Suucess full.
i found the status "Valid" when Retrived from dba_registry
when i tried to Loging the Page using
http://nmsruh:7777/pls/apex then The Following Error is Thrown
Service is Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

What cud be the Problem for this Error, Shall Start over the Installation again or
Any Fixing i need to do here.,

Yust tried to buy a song with my iTunes store credit but I get folowing error: "Your credit balance is temporarily unavailable". Somebody else facing the same issues? I also restarted iTunes but no change.

Same thing here, my iTunes balance is gone, I cant change any payment info as it says they experiance server problems. Also express lane is down, so cant get ANY help from apple!!! Few weeks earlier they have blocked my apple id so i had to write to them to get it re-enabled, which took few days! I have spent thousands of £ on itunes within these last couple of years and it seems they getting worse by a day... Fix your $hit APPLE!!!

TS1368 The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. When trying to view certain purchased TV Shows

Purchased the whole series of Battlestar Galactica and Lost years ago. Suddenly I can no longer view them on my Apple TV 3rd Generation. Other purchased show work fine but it appears these two no longer work. Already restarted my Apple TV several time and even reset it. Still the problem persists. Any idea what is causing this?

Here is how I solved it on my Macs as well as Windows.
Here is for the Mac:
- Quit iTunes
- Go to Safari and open Safari preferences (in the Safari/Preferences menu)
- Navigate to the privacy tab.
- Choose to "Always" block cookies (you can change that back once the issue is solved)
- Click "Details" below "Remove All Website Data"
- Type apple.com in the search field
- Select apple.com and click the remove button
- Check that the apple.com line does not re-appear (it shouldn't, but if it ever does, quit and relaunch Safari and start over)
- Quit Safari
- Launch iTunes
- Connect to your iTunes account
- Smile :-)
Here is for Windows 7 (must be similar for other Windows versions):
- Quit iTunes (and Safari if you have it)
- Openan Explorer window ("My Computer" for example)
- Well hidden in the upper bar under "Organize" choose "Folder and search options"
- In the "view" tab, make sure that "Show hidden files, folders and drives" is checked and click OK
- Navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies or YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies if that is easier
- Delete everything in that folder
- (I am not sure this is necessary) you might want to also trash items in the YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Cookies folder
- Launch iTunes
- Connect to your iTunes account
- Smile :-)
Please tell me if that works for Mac and PC (I tried other things before those instructions so an extra step might have been involved)

How can I purchase this item with my store credit?

I was finally able to download itunes on my laptop, this is really a pain in the butt, not I want to purchase a song and it's asking for a credit card and I have $18.71 credit on my account. Why can't I just purchase a song using the credit that has already been put on my account.???????

ITunes credit temporarily unavailable?

I got an iPhone recently and went on a big of an app-spree today. I was only downloading free apps. I nabbed about 7 apps. The next app I clicked, I got a message saying that my iTunes credit was temporarily unavailable, please try again later.
First off, I don't have any credit (from gift cards or otherwise). Second, I'm "buying" FREE apps so I don't even need any credit. So what's the deal?
Did iTunes decide I'm buying too many apps so they temporarily suspended my account in case my account was compromised? That's the only logical solution I can think of.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? Is there a quick fix? I would like to continue gorging myself on apps ASAP!
