InDesign CS6 won't install/update Adobe Exchange panel

After installing and updating exchange manager 6.0.2.40 when I go to indesign exchange panel it says update is available, click that, it downloads and says update successful, restart indesign to take effect. When it installs it switches to extension manager and says update conflicts with other version install yes or no? Adobe Help Manager won't complete update

Several updates to apply in Adobe Help Manager, yet selecting "update" when it asks me, or even just updating a single module, doesn't complete. It just sits there on the "Please wait" dialog box. How can I reset the help manager or kick it out of this "stuck" state?

What exactly happens when you try to update the iPod? What does the error message say?

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.
If that doesn;t work, you can try updating through iTunes.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
If that fails:
Restore from your back up, repair the Library and try again.

My question is this: since I'm new to Mac, should I download the update and install it to my existing instance of AE and it will allow AE CS6 to run as normal? And the way to install the update is simply to double-click the .dmg?

WARNING: Premiere CS6 won't load past "Loading ExporterQuickTimeHost" after QT 7.7.3 update

Just what the subject line says, Premiere CS6 won't load up past the splash screen and "Loading ExporterQuickTimeHost" after I updated to QT 7.7.3 (Win7). No other updates done, my CS6 is up to date. I reverted back to 7.6 and problem went away. Just an little word of warning to those who see the update pop up.
If you run into the problem, here's the link to download 7.6. You will have to uninstall 7.7.3 then instal 7.6.

I ran into a similar issue on Premiere Elements 11: On program launch, the system hung on "Quicktimehost.pm". After some troubleshooting with no success, I:
1) Uninstalled Quicktime version 7.7.5
2) Installed Quickitme version 7.6
3) rebooted my machine
4) SUCCESS-> launched Premiere Elements 11 without issue

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I've been having major issues with CS6 as well as CC - started with both versions of photoshop locking up, then totally refusing to open. Uninstalled both versions, just reinstalled CS6 but it is not opening unless I hit the shift key while initiating, then it refused to open a raw file so I went in to update to accomodate my camera and got these error messages. I have been without a working photoshop program for what seems like a very long time and this is beyond acceptable. Tech support was not helpful.

When I received a subscription error, I had to do a factory data reset on my new Droid Bionic in order to successfully subscribe to the News Feeds. Although I do recommend that you try this, let's save this step as a last resort. Please try to remove the battery while the device is powered on & re-insert then power the device on. Afterwards, verify that you have a good 3G/4G signal, anything more than 2 bars. If you are still experiencing access issues then the factory data reset would be the next step. Of course you will have to reactivate your device after the factory reset. Prior to completing the reset I recommend verifying that your contacts are backed up on either backup assistant or on your Gmail account. Also, your pictures, videos, and music will be saved on the memory card so this info is not in danger. Why do my images appear smaller on my Retina enabled Mac after installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update?
Retina displays use a higher pixel density than a normal monitor. The individual display pixels are approximately one half the size of previous devices. While working in Photoshop before installing the 13.1/13.0.2 update, as with any other non-Retina optimized application, the number of pixels used is doubled to give a normal, non-miniaturized appearance. This can cause applications to be slightly blurred or pixilated. Thus, when viewing images in Photoshop, the zoom level is effectively double whatever is displayed. At 100% zoom, the image is displayed so that every one image pixel is shown with four display pixels, the same as viewing the image at 200%. With the 13.1/13.0.2 update, Photoshop now displays natively on Retina screens, meaning that image pixels now appear at the much smaller Retina size, thus reducing the amount of screen space they take up when viewed at 100%.

Why have icons disappeared?
Due to changes in the number of pixels involved in the UI, some icons can disappear. If the Photoshop Dock icon is now blank, rebooting the computer will refresh the system and load the new HiDPI icon. Some extensions do not have a Retina ready icon and thus will be blank when you have the panel minimized. In most cases like these, we may have to wait until the manufacturer also releases a HiDPI version of the Extension. Additionally, sub-menu headers may become blank when you view the contents of the sub-menu. For example, if you select Filter > Sharpen, while viewing the list of Sharpen, Sharpen Edges, Sharpen More, etc "Sharpen" itself will be blank.

Well that might explain things more than I've garnered from the Forums. I've got a MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion and a Mac Pro with Lion, both with CS6 Design and Web Premium on them. The Mac Pro updates Photoshop to 13.0.3, the MacBook Pro is "stuck" at 13.0.1. It won't update via the "Help/Updates" or by downloading and trying to install manually. AAM gives an error when trying manually; says to contact support. Other CS6 apps, i.e. Illustrator, do not update on the MBPro either. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, deactivated/reactivated, etc., to no avail. If it means anything, I just deactivated the Illustrator app, quit it, restarted, and the splash screen (which shows the loading progress) showed "Try" on it - haven't noticed that before, and I have not installed any trial downloads. I'm at a loss as to why one installation of CS6 Design and Web Premium (physical/downoad) will update properly on one computer and not the other.
Am waiting to see if Adobe has an answer. The apps work, just don't update...

Hi, I have the Same problem as Alun 2012.
It downloads and runs the installation 100% but throws up an error at the very end.
I looked at my error log and it has 3 errors (0 Fatal Errors)
Could you please advise of any known fixes for these errors as I am not very experienced with analysing such complicated data.
I tried turning firewall off during installation just on the odd chance something was blocking the updater from communicating with the system. I also tried enabling permission to "read & write" for "EVERYONE" in Bridge application preferences and applying it to all contents, without success.
I really don't want to have to uninstall the software as Bridge is the only problem I have encountered. I was able to manually update 5.0.1 from the Adobe Website successfully, however 5.0.2 just doesn't like my computer at all for some reason whether it be automatic or manual update method.
My specific installation errors are as follows (copied and pasted from error log summary).
