My cursor goes invisible. How do I fix this?

I have a macbook pro and when I am using Firefox, the cursor often goes invisible in the main body of the screen when I am using iView, Facebook and other programs. I can still mouse to the side dock or top menu and the cursor becomes visible again but for example if I try to close Firefox and the little box comes up asking if I want to close all tabs, I cannot get the cursor to appear in that box to click yes. This happens quite often and it's really frustrating. A friend said it's a problem caused by Flash but I don't know what to do about Flash to fix it. I am using OS X 10.9.3 and Firefox 29.0.1 I am using Safari to post this question as I don't think it happens in Safari.

Never saw this problem until today, first on Facebook, then on these Mozilla support pages. I had one Firefox window with multiple FB and Mozilla tabs open.
Here's my observations: On the FB and Mozilla pages, the cursor (arrow/hand) acted identical and as described here, would disappear after 2-3 seconds of inactivity or non-motion, then instantly reappear with mouse movement or key strike but only momentarily if no further motion/action occurred. Interestingly, I also had one FoxNews tab (actually FoxNewsInsider) open, and observed slightly different activity. The Cursor/hand would disappear as described above, but instead of staying invisible, it flashed on /off for what appeared to be <1 second on then <1 second off, until mouse movement or key strike. Now, here's the really interesting part ... When I opened a second FoxNewsInsider tab, the problem corrected itself with no direct action on my part to resolve the issue. I was going to close all tabs, then Firefox and perform the system reboot to correct this annoyance ... but, still have not seen the problem.
Okay, I'm not going to say viewing FoxNewsInsider webpages not only provides one perspective on news, and the added benefit of fixing cursor/hand problems .. but maybe there's some to being well informed ... Sorry folks, couldn't resist ... :) I will be watching for the disappearing cursor issue again, and will reply here with any updates or changes in my observations.

I download exclusively from itunes and I have been having issues with the music stopping after about 25 seconds either skipping to the next song or just going silent and still moving as if it is playing? how do i fix this?

I had restored my iPhone 5 to factory settings and that cleared the problematic "Other" problem. Flash forward a couple weeks and the problem has once again resurfaced.
I tried updating iTunes and iOS to the newest versions and the problem still persists.
I'm officially ready to switch to Windows Phone or Android now...

What do you mean by 'out of sync'?
Try running the 'kickstart' using Send UNIX Command or while logged in to that server (ssh etc):
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/k ickstart -restart -agent -menu -console
You might also want to trash /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist from the server..

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them
