My cursor is off position

When i play any game on facebook, my cursor is about 1/2" or so off, meaning i have to click below what i want to click on to hit where it should be originally. It has been going on for 3 weeks and i have made sure i am running latest version, cleared cache, uninstalled chrome, and flash player and then reinstalled again. I am getting so frustrated, plz help. If it helps, the games work fine on IE just not chrome or dragon. It only works right if i am in fullscreen mode on chrome, forgot to add that, ty

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read about your HP Notebook and a frozen cursor on the screen. Try performing a hard reset.
When performing a hard reset please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices.
Did you install any new software?
Here is a link to Touchpad troubleshooting. The section marked TouchPad properties page on the left side has a restore defaults. Select that button if available.
You can do a system restore. System restore will help if something automatically updated and did not go well on the Notebook.
I would be happy to assist if needed. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

The only cursor postion behavior that can be controled is the item property "Keep Position".
The following is the text from the on-line help for item property "Keep Position"
KEEP_POSITION Specifies whether the Keep Position property should be True or False. When Keep Position is True, the cursor returns to the same position it was in when it left the text item. When Keep Position is False, the cursor returns to the default position in the text item. Valid values are PROPERTY_TRUE and PROPERTY_FALSE.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

Fonts are slightly off position after upgrading to new Mac OS X Snow Leopard

I just upgraded from a Macbook that was using OS X Tiger to a new Macbook with OS X Snow Leopard. Now, when I open my flash files on the new computer, they are rendering the fonts slightly differently and off position. I am using the same software (Flash CS4) and the same font library. Anyone ever encounter this problem? Is there a fix for this? Thanks so much!

You are lucky they are only slightly off!
It seems that there is a serious problem with how the new Snow Leopard is reporting font metrics to all programs. Those from Adobe (particularily the ones for layout type like InDesign) seem to be the most affected.
I saw somewhere that it had something to do with some version of a Helvetica or HelveticaNeue font and that apple had give there font the same internal name as a different one and that was causing the problem. Some folks seem to suggest that replacing/removing the offending font worked. Others saw the problem mitigated, but not removed.
As far as I know the only solution is to go back to regular Leopard. But if you have a new machine that is most likely not possible.

I believe this refers to the delivery to your phone of data (email, text messages, internet, etc) by a wireless carrier other than Verizon. This would only happen if you are in an area that is not served directly by the Verizon wireless network. This is similar to voice roaming, which has been around for many years.
Since Verizon's wireless network serves so much of the US, it is unlikely that you would need this service, but depending on where you live or travel regularly, you might. As they say, though, "additional charges may apply"...

IPhone Reminders "remind me on a day" option defaulting to off position

On my iPhone 5, my reminders keep "deleting" my date and time alerts.
I set the date and time alarm, hit done and see it on the Reminders screen but when I go toggle back and forth and go back into my reminders, the "remind me on a day" option is slid back to the off position so I don't get my alert. This keeps happening to all of my recent reminders.
I have tried powering off and back on but it is still happening.

***I created a new item in the Reminders list that is synced to iCloud, and that alert with remind me on a day is saving.*** Try this.
But, same here as the others above, still even after iOS 7.1 update, for reminders linked to my Yahoo! account.
The "remind me on a date" function doesn't save: All setting areas where reminders are requested to sync and be turned on with iCloud and mail, etc... are turned to on. I have turned them all off and on, restarted my phone, force quitting the Remiders app, deleting the alert and creating a new one. Nothing is working.
Reminders red circle with the number of alerts doesn't come on anymore either. This was major or me to go and checked to see what I missed.

Something may have gone amiss on your iPhone.
To attempt to correct this follow these steps:
Backup your iPhone using iTunes or iCloud.
Use iTunes to completely restore your iPhone as Factory new.
Monitor battery usage to see if it is normal. If not, you may have a hardware problem - if so, contact Apple support.
Restore your iPhone from your backup above.
Check battery usage to confirm that it is still normal.

Clock alarm goes off even when selected to off position

Updated my iPhone4 with IOS 7.2 and now the clock alarm still goes off even with the on/off selector in the off position. I deleted the alarm and re-entered it and it still does this. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Hello! I recently got the ihome ih11 and was having the same problem on and off. I found out that even though the manual says the ipod has to off and docked for the ipod to go off on alarm, but I learned ipod does need to be on, but closed out play mode on home screen. Since doing this I've woke to my ipod every morning. Try it and see if that works. I have the ipod touch 2nd generation. Hope this helps!

Switch property nodes // Toggling to the off position

Is there a switch property node that will programmatically turn a toggle switch to the off position upon exiting a while loop? I can set the value (signal) property node to false but the switch still shows as being on on the front panel when the program stops. I want to switch to physically show as being in the off position. thanks in advance.

You didn't do it exactly as I said. Read my instructions again. I don't see how the Servo ON/OFF will go back to false after you click on it. You need to learn about data dependency. The flat sequence structure you added after the loop has no wires going into it. This means it will execute as soon as you run the vi. My instructions were clear, and it said nothing about creating a flat sequence structure. When you run the vi, the false will be sent to the Val(sgnl) property. (I specified a local variable, not a property node). Then the next frame will execute, which is a 1 second delay. This serves no purpose whatsoever. Just becuse the flat sequence is placed after the loop doesn't mean that it will execute after the loop. Nope, it will execute as soon as you press the run button. So the False gets send to the property node, then at some time you press the Servo button and it will stay true.
Re-read my instructions and do it exactly as I stated. And your block diagram is still too large. Lots of wasted space. I still have to scroll all over to see all the code. This makes it difficult to examine your code. Please clean it up.

I don't know of a way to fix an issue with the switch, if it's a hardware issue. You can try doing a Restore on the shuffle in iTunes, to see if there's some software glitch.
However, I often leave my shuffle with the power swtich in the ON position. When you are not playing music, the shuffle goes into a "sleep" mode after about a minute. You'll notice that you need to press the Play button twice to get it to play again; the first press wakes it up. In my day-to-day experience, I don't notice any difference in battery life between the shuffle being OFF and ON (and not playing), even if I leave it ON overnight. And keeping it ON avoids needing to constantly move the tiny swtich, and saves it from wear and tear.
So, you might try just keeping the power swtich in the ON position, and pausing playback to "turn it OFF."

My ipod is saying ipod disabled connect to itunes I have followed the instructions givin in the support section I leave the usb plugged in PC & unplug ipod I turned device off & than held the home button while plugging the ipod back into the cord when it comes back on it shows the itunes music note symbol apears with itunes written below it & the picture of a usb cord end pointing toward it with an arrow but that is as far as it will go it stays on that screen unless I unplug the device & after a min or so the ipod will go back to the off position.
Confused on what to do from here

Normally battery performance improves after few charge/discharge cycles, they rarely work to their optimum straight out of the box.
