My cursors for Photoshop CC are all out of whack!!!

First off, when I'm using the brush tool and I hold command + option to resize my brush, the cursor will immediately change to the eye dropper. If I hit the spacebar it will STAY as the hand cursor, even if I press the B key. Pressing the command key will give me the arrow key, and pressing option will give me the eye dropper. But the cursor will NEVER change back to the brush cursor. It stays as one of the cursors mentioned above. Painting with an arrow or hand cursor is getting very frustrating.
I've gone through all of the cursor preferences, and have even reset PS preferences by holding command + option + shift when starting the application. Nothing has helped.
This is such a weird bug, and I can't seem to find any other instances of it anywhere. It's not like the crosshair problem because you have caps lock turned on...
Can anyone shed some light on this!???
Running CC 2014 (full suite) on an iMac 27' with Mavericks OS.

Have you updated mavericks to 10.9.4?
You have the latest driver from Wacom?

Does it happen with both the mouse and tablet?
(if you disconnect the tablet and use just the mouse is there any difference)

I had tried that several times with no luck. Late last night I was finally able to get through to the Verizon technical support who then called in Apple technical support. It took 1 1/2 hours for them to figure it out and guide me through a fix. So here's the deal .......... I use Yahoo mail and had left the "contacts" button in the on position. Apparently Yahoo likes to go into your contacts and gather information and can leave it in shambles. My advice is, go to settings, then mail, contacts, calendars. Select any and all of your email accounts and go in and turn off their access to your information. Leave it on for Icloud but none of the others.

Trying to install autofills, now firefox add-ons are all out of whack. think i might need to uninstall and re-install add-onns?

I had been trying to add on autofills in firefox, and have managed to throw EVERYTHING out of kilter, and I don't know enough about the Firefox add-ons feature to know where to begin to repair it to normal conditions. Suffice to say that the autofill add on feature does not work at all.

Which autofill extension did you install?
Did you check for reported issues in the comments on its Add-on page?
If the extension isn't working properly then you need to uninstall this extension and possibly look for another extension.

The colors on the screen of my iPod nano are all out of whack. What can I do to fix this?

It is a 3G and it shows rainbow colors. I've tried resetting it twice, but it stays the same. When I touch the screen, it shows original colors in some areas.

Sounds like a damaged or loose ribben cable or LCD screen. You'll need to have the iPod serviced either by Apple or a third party service center in order to resolve the issue.

in that case it might be best to copy the entire iTunes folder to the external. then, on each machine, launch iTunes while pressing option on your keyboard. when prompted, click on +choose library+ and navigate to the iTunes folder on the external.
note only one iTunes can access the iTunes library @ a time !
also, make sure the external is mounted on either machine before launching iTunes.

M…oSoft products aren't allowed on my machines but I use LibreOffice which is a clone of Office.
When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

Thanks for the response. So, after the computer did it's restart thing after installing I went into finder where I usually have everything come up including my Macintosh HD folder and all it's folders and files.. Anyway it was this that hadn't come up and all the files were listed under All My Files and out of all their folders. I totally switched the computer off after posted the problem and now having switched it back on I see that it's all there and in it's proper files.

All folders in import menus for After effects are greyed out since upgrade to Mavericks

Since upgrading to Mavericks yesterday - all folders in the import menus (and save menus) are greyed out. I cannot access sub folders or even import a .mov directly from the desktop. All files and folders are greyed out.
I can use the "Open with" command on indivdual files which seems to work, but it's very inconvenient when working with multiple files.
Any ideas?

How do I purchase additional loops for GarageBand that are greyed out?

Just purchased a Macbook Pro with Retina Display. When I launch Garageband, many of the loops are greyed out as are many of the instruments.
Where do I go to purchase the upgrades to get all of the instruments and all of the loops?

Help with Properties for Dimensions- Cells are all Invalid (orange)

I am working on a new application created by a flat file in EPMA. However, all cells are orange regardless of the POV. I have checked my Account Dimension properties and the Custom 1,2,3 Top Members are all set to the top member of that specific custom dimension. I am not sure what we are doing wrong. Please help so we can move on with the project.

Based on your file, it looks like you are using too many fields in your Dimensions section. Looks like you are specifying all of the available EPMA fields but you only need the HFM ones.

What do i do if all my options for video chat are greyed out for ichat?

I have been using video chat for a long time and have never run into this problem. On ichat i am only able to access the audio options and not the video options, am not able to even check off the Camera Enabled or anything to do with my camera, as it is greyed out.... HELP?

Go to http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/default.htm and check the links under the Learn and Develop sections. All of the tools are there for creating native LabVIEW drivers.
Unless your customers would want an IVI or 'plug and play' driver, then you don't need any other software. For this, you would need to write the driver with LabWindows/CVI. This would be a benefit for anyone not using LabVIEW such as CVI, VB, C++, etc.
To provide support, you should probably provide the driver in at least 7.0 and 8.0 format but you're going to have to judge who your potential customers are and what versions of LabVIEW they currently have. If the DAC/ADC combo requires DAQmx, that automatically eliminates LabVIEW 6.1 or lower.

I do have and use iCloud and calendars is turned on. I have turned off calendars and back on as well as turned off iCloud and then the device itself. Nothing has worked and this has all my own personal appointments on it. Any ideas of how to restore this one calendar and make it available in my list of the other calendars again?

There are a few applications out now that may be able to help you out. 1Password and LastPass are both password vault or lockers. They allow you to save passwords for applications and websites. That way you have a single password you use to keep the vault/locker secure and then all of your other passwords are stored for you so you don't have to write them down or try to remember them all.

The paint brushes in Photoshop CS6 are all splattering. How can I fix this problem?

Every single one of my paint brushes are acting as if they are a splatter brush. I have rebooted my PC and have closed out of the program. Once they are both back on, the problem still persists. What are my options?

Try resetting Photoshop tools and if that does not fix your problem try resetting your Photoshop preferences.

Firefox updated this morning and my fonts are all out of sync .want it back to what it was.

ok firefox updated this morning without me agreeing to it. once updated i notice the page i was on the font is huge. I then check in to facebook to find that page is totally different with regard to font size and form size . the games i play on there are now un playable due to the size of screen that i am used to .
i have tried changing settings on firefox to a reasonable size font and yes on some of the pages i visit regulary they are fine but still not the way i want it .and facebook well just looks horrible. i would like my fonts and pages i view to look the same as they did the night before the update. i am now running 22.0 i believe .

Why when replying to an incoming mail, the cursor for editing type go all glitchy

Since updating to Maverick editing and entering text, particularly in'reply' emails to be all over the place. If i type something in error, and try to amend it, the type insertion bar does not represent where the type ends up being inserted. Any ideas?
