My Curve wont get any Signal and keeps saying SOS
Hi,
i have a Blackberry Curver 8250, since the server went down i cant get any signal. It keep saying SOS. i have tried a range of things to try and get signla but it just says SOS

Given what you describe, I'd actually deduce a faulty SIM as the cause. If it required a password, then the prompt would be different than what you report. The fact that you get the same error with two different devices even further supports the faulty SIM conclusion. You need to contact the supplier to you of the SIM for replacement.

I had my phone plugged in to my iTunes yesterday and downloaded the new software. I then went to install the new software and it crashed half way through with an error message. Then it went off completely and wiped everything. I tried to restore from back up and now it says it has restored from yesterdays back up, restarts afterwards and says it needs to restore from back up again. and just goes round and round doing that. Even if i try an earlier back up. I also tried wiping everything back to factory settings and restoring from back up and that did the same as above. Please help!!
Something in your backup may be corrupt. Try wiping it and setting it up as a new device, then sync your apps, data and media back to it from iTunes. DO NOT resotre from your backup. If the problem is contained in the backup, it will bring it right back again if you restore.

iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. After trying and trying I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet ". What the **** itunes? Nothing is working!!
I wanted to update my iTunes so I could sync my phone to my computer and update my phones software so I can use the latest apps that need a 4.2 or higher.
This is not fun for me so if anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help. Is it possible to download the "cabinent file" with the lastest iTunes?

My phone is the iPhone4 and my computer is a Windows VistaI doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction. -
[TV@Plus] Not getting any signals
I recently purchased a TV @nywhere Plus card. I installed it, along with all the software for it. But no matter what I try I cannot get any signals with TV or FM. I know the card is installed properly, because the remote works fine. The antenna is plugged in properly. I've even installed drivers from the MSI website. I've tried using a cable antenna instead of the stock one. I've tried fiddling with every setting I can find. I've tried using the TV Winamp Plugin. I just do not know what the problem is. As far as I can tell it's a hardware problem, but I just can't figure it out. Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

the bar that says sending message wont go away it just keeps saying sending message yet all the messages are gone and recieved and it just stays there, ive tried restarting booting, syncing everything i cant think of
Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking bar, tap & hold any icon until they all start to wiggle, tap the red minus sign & close every app listed, tap home button when finished. Then reset your phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release. -
I have a new 64GB ipod touch 4G and I followed all the instructions except when I checked my ipod menu it says no content and do I need a wi-fi network to get my ipod work? cause I can't get any signals in my area, I do have home internet connection.. pls. help!

No. You do not need Wi-fi to sync music to or play music on your iPod. Try resetting your iPod: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430.

hi peter, that was the plan to get o2 to unlock the which they do 4 £15 but as i cant get any network signal signal of them (but i am getting a 3g signal as i can access the internet???) o2 are saying there is nowt they can do. i still get no signal after doing a factory reset which in a perfect world should reset my network back to o2 but no signal only getting 3g.im at lost now on how to restore the network im sure its something to do with the carrier signal ?

When i connected my Iphone to Itunes it started to update the software, and then said it's unable to update and to please restore it, now it wont "activate" and keeps saying "try again"
What iPhone do you have? You can check in settings>>general>> about.
If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -
firefox opens, but wont load any web pages. tabs say "untitled". page is blank below. uninstaled and reinstaled- no change. problem came after recent update. any help?
ps. IE works as usualProblem solved from prior post. Firefox had become blocked somehow by McAfee firewall. Set to full access. Now works perfectly.
