the iphone never really picked up wi fi when it was used as a phone and it didnt really matter because he had unlimited internet but it still wont go on wi fi. does any one know why it is doing this?
The iphone works fine other wise i just really want it to go on wi fi. We just got new wi fi too and all of our other apple products go on the wi fi just fine. I dont know if its because its newer or what but my brothers 1st gen ipod goes on wi fi just fine.
The iphone is updated to the latest ios too

I have uninstalled iTunes several times and reinstalled it on my PC running Window 7 with all updated loaded. When I click on the iTunes Store Box, Nothing happens except for a message that reads:
iTunes has stopped working.
The following items give me a choice, but no answer comes up. The computer will shut down the website.

There is an item below the box that is selectable for View problem details. When clicked a long list of items show up. I have listed some of the problems as written, but I do not understand them. I know the iTunes Store has been available on earlier versions of of iTunes but is not on this version. How can we go back and download an earlier version of iTunes?

Application Timestamp: 50c8fc7e"I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

For a long time, my iphone would see my home network intermittently, but it would always drop the signal. I have been searching the web to try to find a way to resolve this issue. Recently the wifi connectivity seems to have gone completely out.
I just want to allow my kids to use it as an ipod touch.I actually performed a complete restore on the phone, but it did not work. I then took the phone in to the Apple genius bar, and they diagnosed it to have damaged wifi hardware. Thank you all for your suggestions.

iTunes shows the music and audiobooks I've loaded to my iPod Touch, but they do not show up when I try to play them. I reconnect to iTunes and it shows the music and books as being loaded on my iPod.
Sometimes the audiobook will play, then disappear from iPod's play menu after I reconnect to iTunes and load more music. I've got plenty of free memory, and iTunes shows the files still on iPod.

Did you place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

It sounds like you are talking about a SIM card, which has nothing at all to do with wi-fi. It is for cellular service from a wireless phone provider. If this is what you mean, then no. Ipods are not cell phones and cannot access cellular data. -

my ipod doesn't allow me to do the thiings it used to. It would change the time and date and everytime i'd turn it to the correct date it would go back when i clicked a new app. it wouldn't load apps corectly because of this date and time problem. So i decided to erase everything and start fresh.
