My dad is gettin my messages!!!

My dad has started receiving my messages on his iPhone. And I get his. However under settings it doesn't either of us are using the others phone number. Any suggestions? It is very annoying

Do you have a shared icloud id registered under settings .. messages?  If so, then your phone numbers/emails are listed as receiving iMessages

  • Verizon email - I keep gettin error message when I try to get in

When Verizon says they're going to send me a confirmation message, I think it's going to my Verizon email, which I never use.  Now that I'm trying to get into my verizon email, I keep getting an error message: "Sorry, your account is being reactivated. Please try again later."  What does this mean and what should I do?

That's unfortunate to hear about email problems. We can help out with that. I have sent you a private message to get more information.

  • Gettin error message?

I uninstalled itunes than installed it again. It all seems to go fine, but once its installed and i click on it to open it it gives me an error message , "the Itunes application could not be opened, unknown error occured [-50] Anyone have any clue why it would do this??

There are well know problems with the Vaio and the iTunes Library, although not specifically this.
    Try this as a test.
Hold down the shift key and launch iTunes. Keep holding the the shift key until you are prompted to create or choose a library (or itunes crashes).
Select "create" and create a library somewhere away from you music folder. This will be empty and the only purpose is to check if there is a library or content file issue with your original iTunes.
You can go back by using the shift key start again then choose the old library.
If that's not it, try starting Quicktime, iTunes will not work if Quicktime does not an it has to be fixed first.
If Quicktime is OK use this trouble shooting article.

  • I have been gettin a message pop-up, Mackeeper,  Clean your mac.  Is this legit or should I just ignor it?

I have been getting a message pop-up when I log on to the internet.   It reads, Mackeeper,  Clean you mac.  Is this a legit site from Apple or should I ignor it?

It's not really malware but it is extremely poorly written software.  It has a fairly good user interface and is easy to use but, when the virus protection kicks in, it hogs all of the CPU resources and everything else slows to a crawl.  Consider thirty seconds merely to open a large folder.  I had it for several weeks and trashed it.  Also, trashing it is easy.  The old "drag to trash can" works just fine.

  • Gettin reapetedly message to refresh

The message is: "To display this page. Firefox must send information that will repeat any action(such as a search or conformation) that was performed earlier."

You get this if you refresh or go back to a page that has been requested from the server by sending POST data from a possibly hidden form.
Are you using a bookmark or do you get this when you when yo use the Back button or otherwise?
You get an alert about resending POST data if you go back to a page or refresh a page that was previously requested from the server by submitting form data via a (hidden) POST form.<br />
Firefox can only make sure to get the same page by resending that POST form.<br />
Firefox doesn't know what that form data means, so Firefox asks for confirmation before resending that form data as such an action can cause you to repeat an action and buy another item or post a message another time.<br />
A way to prevent that pop-up is not to use the Back button, but to open links from a page that was requested from a server by sending a POST form in a new tab (window) with a middle-click or a Ctrl + left-click.<br />
Then you can close that tab or window to go back.

  • Im trying to download new itunes...gettin error message "the feature you are tryin to use is on a resource thats unavailable" HELP

when tryin to download new itunes, i get error meaages...i try to unistall i cant, keep sayin cant find itunes64.msi HELP

Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.

  • I'm trying to re instal iTunes but keep gettin error messages

    error r6034
and "apple mobile devise failed to start."

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • I get a duplicate message in my email in lion what does this mean?

When I opmen my emails in Lion, on the right side I keep gettina a message that says, "1 duplicate" or more, does any one know what this means, and how do I correct it?
    Andres

    Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Does it go through properly this time?
