My dad used to have my 3GS now i have it back, but when i make purchases through itunes via my phone im stuck w/ his account still in the phone. how can i reset it so its my itunes account running through it?
i already backed it up on my mac nd reset the phone to factory setting s and re- synced it to the back up but im still under my dads itunes, like as if its still synced to my dads computer as his phone.

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPod.

If you have a Used Mac that has the old user's account, then you also could have the old user's malware installed, which is collecting all your financial account information. Likely? Probably not. you want to take the chance?
You should erase the drive completely and re-install the OS.
If you don't want to do that, create a new user account, give it admin privileges, log into that account, and delete the old user's account. -

What do you mean by 'reset everything' ? Did you delete all of the apps that he had downloaded onto it ? All apps (and other content from the store) are tied to the account that downloaded them, so if the Facebook app was downloaded by his account then only his account will be able to download updates to it - you will need to delete the app and download it with your account for it to be linked to your account so that you can download future updates to it.

However all I want is for my camera roll, and photo stream to be synced on my iPad, iMac, iPhone 5 and Mac Book Pro. But can I get this to happen?

I have iPhoto all set up to use Photostream, and I'm using the same id for iCloud on all devices, but all my photo streams are different on the different devices.
Is there a master reset switch?
