My data never works and voice hardly works.  Why do I have to pay so much?

I currently pay roughly $180/month for 3 phones that get next to no use.  This is because the phone barely function, or I should say the network barely functions.  My "4G" data works maybe 10% of the time.  It usually flips to 3G after a couple seconds of use making it unusable.  I was so excited when Verizon gave me another gig of data to not be able to use!
Voice is horrible.  I can't make or receive calls most of the time.  I always just let it go to voicemail so I can have Google Voice email me the message.  It works 20 times better than trying to actually have a conversation on my phone. 
Verizon: please either cut my bill down dramatically or let me out of my contract.  2 of my lines only have a few months left anyways and I will not be renewing.  I can't continue paying so much for a service I can't use.  Please don't make me go to the BBB again.  I don't like doing that but it seems like that is the only way you will listen.

The main zip code is 49512.  Its right near the Gerald R Ford Airport, so I don't see why there wouldn't be awesome coverage.
The other 2 lines do have a ton of issues as well.  My son complains at least a couple times a week that his texts aren't working and my mother who uses the other line can hardly ever get through when she tries to make calls.
I moved to this address about a year ago and I thought it would fix my service issues because I have had problems with service in the past.  Unfortunately the move did not help.  I am not sure what's wrong with the network but its frustrating.
I checked my usage for the past few months and we have never used more than 600 megs of data and 700 minutes.  That's between 3 lines with no home phone.  Do you understand how frustrating it is every time I have to pay this bill?  I feel like the only reason I pay it is to avoid ETFs, not because I use the service.
Please tell me what I need to do to get rid or this service or cut the price dramatically to make it reasonable for the level of service I am getting.

    What happens when you try to restore the iPod? Error message?
    If this program will not get the iPod out of recovery mode your data should be safe.

    If nothing else is working you can try to put it into recovery mode and restore it that way. Plug in you cable to your computer and make sure your phone is off...hold the home button while you plug the cable into your phone, continue holding the button until a logo pops up showing itunes and cord going towards it, then you can let go of your home button and itunes will prompt you that it detects a phone in recovery mode and make you restore it

    A Logical Unit of Work (LUW or database transaction) is an inseparable sequence of database operations which must be executed either in its entirety or not at all. For the database system, it thus constitutes a unit.
    LUWs help to guarantee database integrity. When an LUW has been successfully concluded, the database is once again in a correct state. If, however, an error occurs within an LUW, all database changes made since the beginning of the LUW are canceled and the database is then in the same state as before the LUW started.
    An LUW begins
    o each time you start a transaction
    o when the database changes of the previous LUW have been confirmed (database
    commit) or
    o when the database changes of the previous LUW have been cancelled (database rollback)
    An LUW ends
    o when the database changes have been confirmed (database commit) or
    o when the database changes have been canceled (database rollback)
    COMMIT WORK.
    Executes a database commit and thus closes a logical processing unit or Logical Unit of Work ( LUW ) (see also Transaction processing ). This means that

    It probably means you don't have enough available storage on your phone.  It takes space to store the download - THEN unpack it.  Best method is to use a computer with iTunes (This allows you to back up on your computer as well). 
    PLEASE:  Do not purchase iCloud storage space - this will not give you more room for the iOS 7.1 installation.

    If you are in the US there are no carriers who will activate an iPhone for voice only. If you have an iPhone you must have both voice and data plans.

    When I sign up for water service, I don't guess that I might use 1,000 gallons a month, and then pay three times the going rate for water if I take a few extra showers. I get charged for how much water I use that month.

    It is stressful to have to constantly monitor usage, and figure out ratios of how much I've used compared to how much time is left in the billing cycle to see if I need to curb my usage. It is not a good customer experience. I would prefer that data be charged a flat rate based on actual usage, perhaps with an option to throttle speeds at certain levels to prevent cases where a minor lapse in judgment could ruin my monthly budget, like forgetting to check data usage religiously on a device meant to simplify my life.

    Simple answer is Verizon is offering a block of data for usage.
    Where I live the water bill states my wife and I are being charged for 30,000 gallons per quarter/half and the price is say $60 however we never use any where near that amount. I send the meter reading in and it shows the amount we use. But the hamlet we are in has a set amount of gallons. Not fair but we live with it.
    For your data outside of the unlimited which is not available any more to new customers you may be a light user and never go over the 2GB for $30 dollars a month. If you do you will pay through the nose for data. If you pay for more data say 4GB and I don't have the price for it so lets say its $70 then you don't have to watch as much for overage fees. But you are paying for the data in advance so as not go over and get hit with whopping fees.
    It is just the way it is.

    To use Photo Stream, you will need iPhoto 9.2 at least. This is a major upgrade from iPhoto 7.1.5 and you will have to buy it.
