Sounds like a problem with your carrier. Contact your carrier to find out why your data level was not updated.

I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. You cannot customize the Safari toolbar on the iPad.
What you can do on the iPad is go to Settings>Safari>Always show Bookmarks Bar>On and that will add a bookmarks bar on to the Safari browser.

No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

Note, however, that iTunes has never been supported on the 64-bit version of Windows XP, so you're on your own to attempt to get it working.

I want an iphone, but not the data package...is this possible?

I am a guy...I don't get to carry around a purse, and I have limited room in my pockets. I would like to get an iphone but I don't want the $30 a month data package. For some reason this is very difficult for people to understand but it is quite simple. I pretty much have access to WiFi everywhere I go, so I don't need this absurdly high priced data package. I just want to be able to use the phone itself and use the Internet and email when I am in a WiFi area as well as take pictures and have a calender etc.
I am a current AT&T customer and I am eligible for an iphone uprage. So my question is this. Can I buy the iphone 3G, sign up for the data package (since it is required at purchase) and then cancel it soon after so I can just use it as a phone and a WiFi internet access? I would really appreciate a solid answer to this, since even the AT&T store representatives don't know how to answer this. I really don't think it's that difficult a question...

Sorry, but no. The iPhone requires a data package. You cannot get the iphone and then later take off the data package. ATT will not allow that, plus the iPhone uses the data for it's voicemail. The voicemail will only download over a data network, not wi-fi. If you can't or don't want to spend the $30/month, then the best bet is to go with another phone.

For your repeating even, I'm assuming this is your Yahoo calendar? that isn't a Firefox issue, I suggest you try to contact yahoo.

You can send it to someone you know in the US to have them take it in for service or you can get on a plane and take it there yourself. You can not ship it to Apple in the US for service.

"Searching for movie data... Without this file the movie cannot play..."

I have been deleting old projects from my hard drive (macbook pro) and my external hard drive.
Now, when I go into iMovie '09 to work on another project, the following warnings keep popping up on the screen:
"Searching for movie data"
and
"Without this file, the movie cannot play properly."
I click "cancel" but they keep popping up, prohibiting me from doing anything else in imovie.
If anybody has a clue how I can get rid of these warnings, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been getting the same crap. Ive since deleted all of my imovie projects. It seems to have the problem when I am trying to pull up the videos in the iPhoto library. My particular file it is getting hung up on was used once in Sound Track Pro, but is not there anymore. Not sure if that rings a bell with you at all.

You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Step 1
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
Step 2

The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select

Changing date information (not sure if this is the right version)

I'm not sure which version of iPhoto I'm using. It came by default with my MacBook Pro a year and a half ago, so perhaps someone whose switched on to those things will know which version that is.
The problem is that I recently added a group of pictures to iPhoto that have the wrong date on them. Apparently the camera was set to January 2007. This now means that these photos are in the wrong order in the library. How do I re organise the files so that they appear in the right order (i.e. at the bottom)? I've already tried highlighting all of the pictures, cliking 'batch change', and changing the date, but that only changes that date that they were added, which doesn't seem to change the order. Is there some sort of re organise button I need or something similar? Is there a way to change the date that the pictures were created? This is really only a small thing, but it is annoying all the same. All help is greatly appreciated.

The most likely cause is a problem with Java on your system - older and/or messed up Java installations seems to cause this issue sometimes.
To fix:

In iOs, the options are limited and do not include every 4 weeks. You can't, other thatn creating multiple entries (say two that each repeat every two weeks).
