My daughter accidentally deleted her texting app off of her i-pod 4th generation. Is there a way to get it back? Or, is the there a way to re-install or install a new one. The issue seems to be not being able to load a newer ios.

I understand that you are not able to locate the Messages application on your daughters iPod touch (4th generation). The good news is that this application cannot be deleted or restricted. The first suggestion I have is to try and search for Messages using Spotlight to search the iPod touch for this application. If Messages is located in Spotlight, then it has probably been moved to a different page of applications or even possibly a folder of applications on the device. Searching all pages will help you locate it.

I was deleting a link in the history list that enabled a specific gift claim in Farmville when I was installing Firefox 4. It apparently deleted the whole link for gifting and the listing of friends in Farmville and in Dragons of Atlantis. I cannot play these games fully without having access to my Facebook Friends who are also playing these games. It did not effect the same feature in Kingdoms on Camelot. How can I restore the friends link in the other two games? I told the history to "forget" the specific link for one specific gift claim. There were other links in the history list that I did not touch.

I don't think you actually deleted any fonts. The missing fonts are Truetype fonts originally installed with Microsoft Windows XP. The website probably was optimized for Windows XP and Internet Explorer some time ago. These fonts were never part of Mac OS X.
NOTE: My answer does not address font licensing issues if you do not own a Windows XP computer!
If you have a XP computer, you can locate and copy those font files from the Windows computer to a flash drive, eject it, put the flash drive into your Mac, open it in Finder, and click on each ttf filename, one at a time. They should automatically open in in a window similar to this one for the Orbitron font:
Click the Install Font.
Repeat this for each of the four ttf files, and you are done.

Has anyone had issues with their iphone not being able to play music through ihome or other external units after ios7 update?

I have not been able to play music or podcasts when my phone is plugged into my iHome. It did so before the iOS update. It does the same thing with my JBL at work.

Yes with some docks and car systems but I do not remember the specific devices. Sometimes and iOS update breaks compatibility.
Try:
- Go to the dock manufacturers and see what they say. Also see if there is a firmware available for the dock
- Reset the dock
- Sometimes this works:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Firefox 4 beta on my and another system ended up not being able to load certain web sites ie igoogle so went back to 3.6 has anyone else had the same problem

firefox 4 beta ended up on certain web sites grinding to a halt then stopped responding igoogle is a prime example firefox 3.6 is fine with the web site it was not doing it till the 12th beta version and its happened on two systems so im not alone its resulted in me removing firefox 4 and i will wait until its officially released

.swf being able to load contents into it issue. Please help?

I have strange situation regarding flash that I can't figure out. I have a flash .swf file that is intended to load .flv video files into them at the local root level.
I have been able to do this on my own server, but the .swf and the .flv videos are now located on the media streaming server, and the .swf is able to show up on it's own when embedded onto my page (on MY server), but it's not being able to load the video files. I am perplexed because the videos are structured in the same EXACT way that it was being done on my server, but they will not load onto my .swf as they were doing when they were on my server.
For example, one of the videos is loaded by using this convention in my actionscript:
var file = "videos/Bob_Peebler.flv";
So, on my media hosting service, I've loaded the .swf file on the local root, and the videos are placed in the same exact directory structure as they were done on my server. In the example above, the "bob_peebler.flv" is located inside the videos folder, and the videos folder is on the same level as the .swf
In my flash file, I've thought that the var needs to point to the actual URL of the flash file, so I've then typed out the URL of the flash video, but I still can't seem to get it to work.

Here is where the .swf can be located to get a better sense of what I am trying to accomplish.

On my flash, I already have those parameters in place.
I don't think there would be any security issues however, since I have used a player .swf which loads from the media site and plays the videos without a problem.

Now, I am pretty much doing the same thing, but this time embedding the other swf to load the videos. As I mentioned, I was able to do this when everything was on our server, but now there is an issue for some reason when I try to load the .flv into the .swf from the other media server.

Also, is there any way to save a group or an open session and then restore it later?

History menu, if it was destroyed in the last session
then use "Restore Previous session:" and then restore all windows also from the history menu.
If done in this session try the restore all windows under the history menu.

OOk so I have my new Apple id in my iTunes account but my old Apple ID is the one that is in the iCloud account which is the Apple ID have been using for years and the reason I cannot get it on this abled is because somebody was using my credit card or debit card that was on file for family sharing and it was a stolen iPhone from my account so they had to disable my Apple ID and I could not use my debit card anymore on any Apple ID ever again they said because of it so I can't get it not to be disabled and I can't sign into iTunes with it I already have signed out and signed in with my new Apple ID for iTunes it's just iCloud is not letting me load anything so pretty much what I've been doing is I have to erase every app and then re-dumb going to iTunes and re-download the apps again but the only issue is that I still have a disabled Apple ID as my iCloud settings and my iCloud family sharing in all of that so I'm wondering how or is it possible to change my Apple ID for iCloud specifically because when I go into Icloud and settings and go into my name where my Apple ID is the one that's disabled it doesn't say anything about log out or sign out or anything like that it just says to put the password for it so is there a way to change the Apple ID for my iCloud so that my iTunes in my iCloud is the same Apple ID?

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

Yes. Restoring a backup puts the phone in exactly the same state it was in when the backup was made.
