Good day to you. My name is Reynaldo from the Philippines and i want to report a stolen iPhone 3GS 8 GB Black. I legally bought this iPhone last April 12, 2012 12:09 pm at Apple Store Lakeside shopping center 3301 veterans memorial blvd., suite 19, Metaire LA 70002. I still got the original receipt including the serial number, IMEI number and the part number of the said iPhone. It's an unlocked version of the iPhone 3 GS and my daughter has been using it here in the Philippines for more than a year already. I gave this iPhone to my daughter as a debut gift and i know it's so important to her most especially the contacts and some important apps that she value so much. As a father, it broke my heart to see her cried when she found out it was stolen from her bag when she was riding in a public utility vehicle here in our area, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
I would like to ask any help from anyone about any idea how could i trace it so i might be able to retrieve it back. PLEASE HELP ME TRACE IT.

If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

If you purchased an upgrade from LR5 to LR6 then after you enter your LR6 serial number, you will need to enter your LR5 serial number, unless LR6 finds LR5 on the computer. This also assumes that you've purchased the perpetual license of both LR5 and LR6, not a cloud license for LR5 which doesn't use a serial number for licensing. If entering a LR6 then LR5 serial number into LR6's serial-number area isn't working, then is there something special about the LR5 that would make it ineligible for an upgrade?

Still waiting for Student version serial number [was: Student Creative Suite Help]
Hi.
On Saturday I bought a new MacBook Air and with this I got the Student Creative Suite because I needed this. I am a student studying Art & Design, Now the forums say that my serial number will be sent to me One BUSINESS Day after I have gotten the reciept which I got on Saturday. That means I should technically have got the adobe suite today, I have verified my enrollement, and have paid for this so I expect to have it soon! I was told it only takes around 6hours to be delivered.
So far I am not that far convinced and impressed.
If anyone can answer why this is taking so long I would be very grateful.

I have today replaced my 4s with a new one - having backed up my old one to itunes only this afternoon. It refuses to restore from backup and is asking me for a password... my itunes password isnt working, and yet i have not entered any others.. does anyone have any suggestions?

It's asking for your admin password, not your Apple ID and password.
If you can't remember the password ..
Your new Mac is running v10.7 Lion so there are two ways to reset the admin password.

iphone 3gs shows activation required, hooked up to iTunes and it is not recognized. Did the restore but just gets to the end and gives an error message it could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (-1). Can someone assist me in next steps please?
Instructions to get the phone back working temporary.. till there is a real fix.
1. turn off the phone
2. fire up iTunes
3. press and hold the home button, plug in the cable, hold till you get to see the recovery mode
4. iTunes will the allow to choose restore the phone back to 5.0.1 ( no other choice)
5. iTunes will then ask you to choose which previous backup to would like to recover.
(note: please do not reboot your phone unless necessary, i realize at times after reboot, it goes back to sq1) -

You must log into the mobile iTunes Store using the same Apple ID you used to purchase the service. On the iOS device go to Settings > iTunes and App Stores and log in.
Also, if you have the cloud icon next to tracks in iTunes that means the initial scan, match and upload process is not complete yet. You should wait for it to complete before enabling the service in your iPhone. -

You cannot lock it by the serial number. Report it to your carrier and the police. You said that the thief knows your pass code. Does that mean that the thief was a personal friend who would be close enough to you to know what your code was? If that is the case, ask your friend to return your phone.
