My daughter and I both have an iPhone.
Earlier after downloading icloud all of my contacts were pushed onto my daughter's iphone, and hers onto mine. She deleted my contacts from her iphone, which in turn also deleted them from mine. I have tried to restore my iphone so I have my contacts back. It did not work. Any advice?

This is exactly working as advertised . Both systems that are operated under the same Apple-ID for icloud will mirror the changes done to one to the other. This is how icloud works.

Is the same Apple iCloud account being accessed on each iPhone?

my daughter and I both have the iPhone 5, there is one particular # that I cannot send or receive text msg from but she can! Settings are the same! Any suggestions? Thanks
If you turned off Contacts wouldnt that mean that the Contacts would no longer be backed up to iCloud as well? That would make it a pain when upgrading a phone to not easily pull contacts back down.

My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s'. Last night she switched to ios7 and I am still using ios6. I use the find my iPhone app to keep track of her and since the update it no longer works. Her phone says its on but when I try and locate it from either my phone or laptop it shows it offline. Any suggestions. It's my only peace of mind! Thanks!
Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case? -
My daugher and I both have an iPhone. How can I use my iPhone or the cloud to locate her in case of an emergency. Is there a way to do that without paying for an upgrade or additional services through a separate vendor??

My wife and I both have an iphone. We initially set them up under one apple id account. When we text sometimes we will receive each others text messages from others. Example I will text a friend...she will not see my text but the reply comes to both of us. It seems to be random which ones. Any ideas how to correct this
Yup, get your own AppleID.
The messages that are being sent to both phones are technically not text, they are Apple's iMessage. They use the data part, not the texting part. So if you have an iPad or a Mac computer, you can send/receive the iMessages there too.

I am administrator for Mac. My husband and i both have separate iPhones with separate contacts. Since i0S 6.1 update these contacts are now shared which we do not want. I have set up separate iCloud email and account for my husband. How do i ensure that i
You can continue to use the current AppleID for iTunes, but your husband can create a new AppleID to use to create a new iCloud account that will be his own and not overlap with yours. If you do not have another email address to use for an AppleID, just get a free Gmail account and use that.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (or at least, as many as you have email addresses for). You can use a separate AppleID for the store, another for iCloud, and even another for iMessage if you wish.
You will want to keep the current one as the shared one for the store as all your previous purchases are permanently tied to it, and thus you need that AppleID to update or redownload your current purchased content. -
My wife and I both have the iphone and we use my macbook pro with iTunes to sync our ipods. When I do something on my iPhone it shows on hers. How do I set up her a seperate iTunes acct on my mac so she can operate independent of me?
There's info here on setting up separate libraries and user accounts. You won't have to reload (or re-import) all the music, just copy it.
The reason I suggest separate accounts on the Mac is because if you have the two libraries under the same user account, iTunes will also open the last library that was open in that account, and you'll always have to be mindful of which library that is. If you open iTunes and find it's not your library, you'll have quit, relaunch holding the option key and select the other library.
No, you won't have to log in and out of the Mac. (If I'm understanding your question here.) Multiple accounts can be logged in at the same time. And with fast user switching, you can toggle between user accounts.
I'll admit that maintaining the two libraries gets a little tricky, because if you share all the same music, you'll have to add it to one and update the other. (That won't happen automatically.) But I think Home Sharing makes this much easier to do.
Hope that helps! -

How to Use Multiple iDevices with One Computer -
My husband and I both have Iphone 4's. I do not receive any text messages that he sends me. He gets mine though. He sends texts to other iphone users and they get them. I get text messages from other phones including iphones. Please help.
Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

My husband and I both have an iphone5. I had mine first and setup my itunes account. When we purchased his phone we sent up another itunes account but on the same computer. Now we are running into problems, especially when he wants to set up playlists from his music to his phone and in general with synching. should we start over with just one itunes account and both use that with the one computer?
By the sounds of it you have linked Email Accounts, if so this means that you will both recieve the majority of the same Emails, and if you do and you read them on your account (which is linked with your husbands) then they will appear to read on the both of them because they are linked. With the majority of Email providers these days they're Emails are (simplified) in the cloud you could say, meaning that if you read or delete shared Emails then it will do the same on both accounts rather than just the yours.
I hope all that made sense, sorry that I couldn't be of anymore assistance.. If you havent already try googling your problem - you may find some answers on there -
My daughter and granddaughter have the same model iPhone. I can go messages and text my granddaughters phone from my ipad2, but when I try to text my daughter I get the message that she is not registered with I message, but she is registered and gets texts all the time. What do we need to do?

The blue bubble will not turn on on the iPad when I try to message her on her I phone. She has IMessage turned on.
What blue bubble are you trying to turn on? If you mean that the Send button will not work, go to Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field>Off. Make sure that is set to off.
If you send an iMessage, the texts between the devices appear in a blue bubble.
iMessages only work between iOS devices and they are different than the standard text messages that any cell phone can send to another cell phone. -
if contacts are deleted through from one i phoe to anouther iphones on the same icloud can the delated contactsbe recovered?
This is most likely because you are using the same iCloud account on both iPhones. To use iCloud you both require your own Apple ID.
Unless you have a recent backup of your iPhone, then the contacts are lost.
