Restore the phone from backup on the last computer your phone synced with, and this will remove the passcode http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414. If you do not have access to the last computer the phone synced with, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore as a new device http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Do as the manual says and restore the ipopd. If you are unable to restore, then type "unable to restore" into the search bar at the top of this page by Support and read the resulting help article.

You'll need to connect the touch to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restore it to factory settings. See this article for help on getting your iPod touch into Recovery Mode.

If you have an Apple Store near you, take it there and have them check it. If you don't, I would send it in for service.

How did she change her AppleID?
If she simply updated the AppleID (not created a new one with a new email address), log out then log back into iTunes store.

Providing she regularly synced her iPod, her purchases should be in her iTunes library. If this is the case, then you can simply reset her iPod and put all of her data back on it although I don't know if this works with apps. If she synced it before she reset the pass word then you can stop the auto sync, restore, and put the back up on it. If all else falls, iTunes and the App store remember purchases so you can't buy the same thing twice, well at least I haven't. I hope you find this helpful, and good luck getting her iPod back into usable condition.

If you set up Home Sharing and are on the same network you can share your library. However you must be using the same itunes account. Another option (if you are trying to download to a device) would be to sync over Wi-Fi. I hhope this helps a bit. If you let me know what you are trying to accomplish I may be able to give a better answer

Did you create a second administrator account on his machine? Or is there only one account on his machine?

okay from reading posts it seems if I transfer my backed up info from my old comp to the new one and erase my dad's phone's back up i could reset my phone and it would transfer all my old data back onto the phone, be linked to the new computer and i could proceed. Where do i find the backed up info from my phone?
