My daughter dropped her IPod Touch 4 16 GB and broke the glass. Is there a repair shop I can bring it to and have the glass replaced.
MY daughter broke the glass on her IPod touch4. It is in the top left hand corner. Can this be replaced with new glass? She is heart broken... It still works fine..
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

My daughter dropped her iPod Touch on cement and shattered the screen. It still works, but I am afraid it won't for long. I do not want to attempt a repair myself...does the Apply Store do this type of replacement/repair and for how much? I spent over $300 on this thing and I'm not buying another one. Thanks.
The home owner's policy may so give it a shoot.
The apple warranty which only covers material defects does not cover abuse which is what Apple will classiy dropping it as.

Can anyone help please? My daughter dropped her ipon touch 4g into water which resulted in it being ruined. We bought her a new one three days ago and she has just dropped it and cracked the screen!!!
Cany anybody tell me, are we able to use the perfect screen from the water damaged ipod to replace the broken one on the new ipod or, would the water damage have ruined the screen too?
Thanks in advanceYour very best option would be to take it to an apple store and exchange it for an alike model which can be a refurbished, or new unit. The repair/exchange price is about 99USD. http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=servicefaq&viewlocale=en_US&geo=United_St ates&product=ipod&select=REPAIR_PRICING

User abuse is not covered. They will not replace the screen, but rather the iPod itself, and will do this for $99 (for 8GB model). See here for more details: http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/service/prices/

My daughter charged her ipod touch on my sisters computer. My daughter also accessed iTunes - my fault she knew the password for the account. Now the account information says that 2 computers are authorised to access this account. How can I deauthorise or remove my sisters computer that is now linked?
Any ideas? When i access Store the only option is to deauthorise the computer I am on now. There is no option to remove the 2nd computer that is my sisters.Very simple....go to itunes store, on the top right click on your account. It will ask for your password, then show you a screen where it will have your address on top. Look 1/2 the way down on the right...it says deauthorize all...click that and then just go back in to your computer and reauthorize your own computer...

To restore from backup see:
iOS: How to back up
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you previous synced to the computer then you may be able to recovery use of the iPod by following the instructions here:

How can two family members use iCloud separately with one apple ID?
Hi Lauracll
As far as I am aware you cannot split, or use separately. What are you trying to archive by trying to have one Apple ID, but separate? Maybe if you can mention what your aim is, there could be a suggested solution. -
My daughter forget her password and now her ipod touch is disabled. Red message says to connect to itunes. When I do connect to itunes, the device is not recognized and then a message comes on the screen that says it is locked and to enter the password to access it. I cannot access the password and since itunes does not recognize the device, it does not come up on the list on the left, i cannot reset it. What do I need to do so she can use her ipod touch again? Thanks

My daughter locked her ipod how do i disable it
my daughter locked her ipod touch how do i restore it we cant remember password
If you can't remember the Passcode, you need to restore the device from the computer it was last synced with by placing the device in recovery mode > > iOS: Unable to update or restore
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
